Very tasty, tender chicken thigh and lovely lemon and pistachio cake. A really nice atmosphere with Moroccan music in the background. Great on a sunny day. Unfortunately closed at the moment, looking forward to one of our favourite places reopening hopefully soon.

What a super discovery SO Marrakech is. My husband and I were looking for lunch, tried a couple of the headline eating places in Altrincham and found them to be too busy and noisy. SO Marrakech was an oasis of calm with excellent food, coffee and service. The experience was completed by well chosen soft background music that added to the experience along with delightful décor. We'll definitely be back.

Been away travelling for a while and couldn't wait to get back to our fav coffee shop. Spoilt myself today with a slice of the tastiest carrot cake. As always great service and by far the best coffee in Alty.

Absolutely brilliant coffee and homeware shop. The coffee here is incredible, beautifully made and the staff a pleasure to speak to, they couldn’t be friendlier. Loved seeing the place busy, would highly recommend - the flapjacks are delicious as well!

Fabulous, fabulous food, nice staff, WAY better than the ridiculous dire Altrincham Market. I left the Tender Cow (TC) in the Market after a disgusting meal and found this brilliant cafe. Tender Cow has No customer care, just a very bad attitude, my steak was swimming in sauce. Other restaurants would and do welcome feedback. It's how they stay open. No one wants 27 tonnes of sauce, you had to find the steak. Way too much sauce, no standards before food sent out. It could have been cardboard, you couldn't taste the meat, which made it pointless. At Altrincham Market silly prices you hope they had some skills? I took back the food to Tender Cow to offer feedback, and they couldn't care. Zero care. They just said ok. And ignored us....No refund, no replacement. In Lisbon we sent back a steak for a similar issue and the owner's came out to thank us, to adapt, to keep customers. A free replacement, and we return lots to that restaurant.

Don't know what meals are like, but the pastries that we bought with our teas were stale and overpriced. We were there at 3.30pm and it felt as though they'd been out all day.

Visited today ... we were not disappointed. The coffee was delicious, asked for one shot of coffee as didn't want it too strong. The cake was delicious also. Very clean and staff really friendly. Price Really reasonable ... look forward to a return visit.

In all honesty, So Marrakesh deserve about ten 5* reviews from us. Been in love with this place since we first discovered it and always pop in after work or on weekends when we can for a coffee, croissant and one of their amazing cakes! The staff are amazing and always do everything they can to make the experience as pleasant as possible. I absolutely love the coffee here and their cakes are amazing! Definitely stop by if you ever have the chance, you won’t regret it!

I love this place. Best spiced coffee (which you can have black!) and the most incredible cakes. And in good weather the outside tables get perfect sun. I especially love that the cakes aren’t mass baked and many don’t have icing.

Love the flat white and cinnamon rolls here! Definitely one of the best coffee shops in Altrincham. Looking forward to coming back!

Visited Marrakech coffee shop this week with friends who haven’t been to Altrincham before. They thoroughly enjoyed their coffee and foods ( great for vegetarians) and found the place to be totally unique, atmosphere was great and the environment is so different from the normal coffee places …great experience for us all and we will be returning.

Love this little gem of a place. Insane coffee with all milk options - delicious fresh cake selection - wonderful personable service - the kind of place where they remember your drink order. Well curated homewares selection. Great ambiance and tunes playing. Definitely my favourite coffee stop in Alty.

I have never left a review before but felt compelled to for this wonderful cafe. The owners are lovely, friendly & attentive, the Moroccan coffee is fabulous, the cakes are a bit different to most places & totally gorgeous. All in a lovely chilled atmosphere with great music - just wish I could go every day!

When I’m Altrincham, this is always our first choice of eateries. We take our son in, because the atmosphere is gentle and welcoming. The whole ambiance is soulful and a warm reflection of the guy whom runs/owns the venue. The food is always tastes fresh and bursts with flavour . The cultural detail of teapots and drinking vessels etc. is really charming. And the cleanliness is superior. Much Love 🌼🧡🌼

A great place to have lunch, the menu is modern but based on Morroccan cuisine, so it's a nice change from your usual diner. The people there are very friendly and the food was delicious. I had the salmon with salads and the louesa to drink (lemongrass), and I particularly liked the tea pots where it was served. A great experience and would love to go again.

So Marrakesh has become our weekly spot now for great coffee and the most amazing cake in beautiful serene surroundings. Its a great spot in Altrincham with a very relaxed vibe.

Moroccan spiced latte and the dirty chai latte were absolutely delicious! We also had the brownie and flapjack which were equally delicious. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends.

Really nice décor and couldn't fault the service. It's not that anything was bad, but I just thought the food (we got the meze sharer) was fairly bland and way overpriced for what it was.

This is such a light open space for coffee which is the best in town. Warm friendly and a delight space to be in. The cakes are fresh and delicious.

Lovely shop and cafe! We went in for cakes and drinks, and they were great. The vibe of the place is amazing and the decor and colour scheme, wow! So much lovely thought has gone into it, and the owner is so lovely and welcoming! Cannot wait to come back again! X

Good location here on the edge of the market, never too busy inside, always a place to go, some lovely decor inside, and the shop within sells some great Moroccan wares, ! the coffee is one of my Favourites in altrincham, (cortado is 👌) they have a couple of very different ones i hadn’t had before my visit, so that was nice! Polite helpful lovely staff and a great place for some cake a coffee and a sit down. Lovely on a Sunday morning early Doors if the suns out ! 😊👍🏻

My most favourite shop in Altrincham (and the owner is lovely too)! Full of beautiful Moroccan pieces. We have found so many lovely pieces here for our home. A gem for any decent interior designer or anyone with good taste. I'll be back soon!

Called in for a mid morning light bite. Partner had the Turmeric Latte, I had the Lemon Moroccan Verbena Tea & a slice of Orange & Pistachio cake. The Turmeric Latte was very nice - wish I had ordered likewise! The Orange & Pistachio cake tasted more like Bakewell Tart, which wasn’t a problem as I like Bakewell Tart lol. The Lemon Tea was a disappointment however - just like drinking hot water, hardly any flavour. A common problem with fruit Teas I find. Some nice Moroccan homeware here, hand crafted in Morocco which means it’s also relatively expensive.
