I used to be a regular customer, ordering breakfast every Saturday, but the recent experience has been disappointing. Despite their posted opening hours, the place seems closed most of the time it seems they’re closed all the time, even on Saturdays. Today, I tried calling them 15 times with no response. It's frustrating when a business doesn't answer calls or update their Google timing accurately.this poor service has led me to the decision not to order from here again. I suggest keeping your business open more frequently, as currently, it seems closed for about 6 days a week. What’s the point ?

I've been visiting Mamas Cuisine for some time now. I rarely post reviews, however on this occasion it is warranted. Everything from the warm friendly welcome on arrival to the the food is exceptional. Fresh quality ingredients coupled with skilled chefs create the most authentic Egyptian flavours. The grilled chicken and rice is amongst our favourite dishes. It is delicious. Though a cafe, it can easily position itself amongst the best middle eastern restaurants in south Manchester. Go ahead and take a chance on Mamas Cuisine, you won't regret it. Highly recommended!

I came with my friend and we each had an Egyptian breakfast- it was absolutely delicious, freshly cooked and great value. Couldn't ask for anything better! Highly recommended

Perfect! A very friendly family run business serving tasty authentic Egyptian dishes, along the usual cafe dishes. A great place to have brunch or lunch. We had the falafel meal and the Turkish sausage with eggs, everything was freshly and home cooked, even the bread. An overall great experience and would love to go again :)

Lovely Egyptian breakfast in an unassuming place. Service with a smile from the couple. Best falafel I’ve had outside of the middle east. Highly recommend!

Amazing food. My husband and I regularly order the mixed grill which includes a Skewer Kofta, 2 Lamb Chops, a Skewer of Shish Kebab & Chicken Tawook Served with Large Rice or Chips and Large Salad. The little yoghurt dip it comes with is so damn good.

Excellent food and very very nice staff members. Extremely polite and place was really clean. Everything we tried was amazing and tasted perfect just like home cooked in fact it was homemade. Cakes were out of this world. I really highly recommend this. Breakfast lunch dinner amazing amazing. I will definitely be taking my family here again. Thank you for excellent service and food.

As a delivery partner, I accepted an order from this restaurant, I drove long distance to pick it up but unfortunately when I reached the restaurant I was treated with neglect and I had to cancel the order. This happened to me three times then I decided to not accept any order from this restaurant and I have the evidence in my delivery app can be provided when needed. When I wrote a review the restaurant threatened me to remove my review.

We used Mama's Cuisine for a really last minute catering order for ten people. The customer service was amazing, really helpful and accomodating with less than a days notice. The food was really delicious, it tasted fresh and home made with authentic middle eastern flavours, our guests were really impressed. The portion sizes were huge so really good value for money too. Will definitely order again and I would definitely recommend to others! I didn't get any good pictures because we dug straight in, and will happily be eating the leftovers for a few days.

We always get our birthday cakes from Mama's Cuisine, for years now. Extremely friendly staff and high standards of customer service. As for the vanilla cake with fresh cream, raspberries and pistachios, that is our addiction 😋😋 Many thanks for your delicious cakes ❤❤

First time here but won’t be our last! Stopped in as car was in garage and now have found my go to place for lunch. Food was amazing and portions very generous given the reasonable prices.

Second time ordering takeaway from here and this will be the last time. First time ordered the lamb shawarma, which barely had any meat on it, but was only £5.99. Thought that maybe the better option would be the lamb shawarma plate since it is £9.99. Meat portion was still incredibly small. Not sure why it was so much more than the lamb shawarma? All you essentially pay for with the plate are chips and a side salad. Really was disappointed as was sure you were going to receive more meat. Really over priced for portions you get.

My wife and i visited Mama's Cuisine this morning for breakfast. I was very happy with the quality of food and the service was excellent. We had the Egyptian Breakfast which has the filafel, fuool (beans), salad, two very nice sauces and lovely hot pitta bread. Everything was freshly made and absolutely delicious. In the end we had a large piece of mango and vanila cake (home-made of course) with coffee. I can say it was the best breakfast i've ever had!. Highly recommended. We already have plans to go back very soon and try some of the other dishes.

A little gem drove past it for years then my daughter fancied trying eating there and was very impressed with both the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff would recommend giving it a try I will be back there soon , also they do a takeaway service. Thank you for a top class meal .

This place decided to accept my Uber eats order (which they do manually) shortly before they shut, which one would assume - they are agreeing to make and allow Uber to collect it. No, they obviously did shut and didn't make the food and just thought they'd make it 2 hours later upon return at 4pm. 5 Uber drivers attempted to pick it up, to find the place closed, so they wasted lots of people's time. Absolutely disgraceful. You can refund me the money as I can't cancel the order.

I had a very last minute event that I desperately needed a cake for. I contacted Mama’s cuisine and they graciously agreed to sort me out with a 12 inch cake. The owner only had a days notice and had other orders, but still managed to make mine, and had it ready earlier than agreed which was so great. Not only did the cake look DIVINE (and better than I could even imagine), but it tasted AMAZING! Everyone was so impressed with the cake, it actually became the centre piece of the party. I am forever grateful for Mamas Cuisine, and will most definitely be coming back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
