I
joined
Nxtep
3
months
ago,
having
initially
walked
into
the
studio
feeling
crippled
from
tennis
overload.
My
legs
had
given
up
on
me
during
playing
and
with
a
long
standing
ankle
injury,
I
knew
I
had
to
address.
Additionally
I
was
carrying
too
much
weight
and
my
gym
techniques
were
clearly
not
fit
for
purpose.
I
had
been
a
gym
member
for
15
years
prior.
Following
a
very
warm
introduction
about
the
business
and
how
they
operate,
I
was
invited
for
a
taster
session
with
Chris.
It
is
a
one-to-one
personal
training
studio,
so
a
one
in
&
one
out
policy.
This
is
one
of
the
first
elements
that
differentiates
them
from
personal
trainers
in
a
public
gym
setting
-
where
there
are
distractions
everywhere.
I
have
had
PT
in
the
past
and
whilst
I
got
benefit
from
it,
the
pure
depth
that
Nxtep
offers
is
another
level.
Granted
you
pay
a
little
more
for
the
service
but
it
yields
unparalleled
qualitative
benefits
that
you
can
only
see
and
feel
when
you
are
there...
The
offering
includes
regular
group
communications,
a
dedicated
Youtube
channel,
personal
motivation
messages
and
checkins,
food
menu
planners,
personalised
macro-level
split
for
protein/carb/fat
intake,
live
weekly
cook
alongs
from
the
owners
kitchen,
online
weekly
group
sessions,
and
one
of
the
features
I
like
the
most
is
the
technology.
Nxtep
have
an
application
that
synchronises
from
all
the
most
popular
training
applications
like
MyfitnessPal
and
Fitbit
so
sleep,
weight
and
metrics
etc
are
all
captured
into
one
"Hub".
Chris
and
Luca
are
highly
personable,
experts
in
their
fields
and
the
passion
truly
shows.
These
are
not
just
fluffy
words.
I
work
very
closely
with
Luca
due
to
my
love
of
tennis
and
his
particular
expertise
covers
my
love
for
the
sport.
New
home
training
programmes
are
also
uploaded
to
the
Nxtep
app
in
4
weekly
cycles
so
there
is
a
constant
challenge
to
grow
and
evolve.
I
am
learning
advanced
techniques
and
stretching
my
body
with
core
and
mobility
work.
Luca
is
a
scientific
guru
and
during
training
explains
all
aspects
about
the
relationship
within
the
body,
not
just
the
correct
movements
and
posturing.
I
might
even
be
able
to
do
the
'splits'
soon
if
I
continue
at
this
rate
...
