NatWest Bolton

Atm Bank

😠 Waited over 2 hours in the queue. A young girl who asks why are you in branch for is extremely rude especially to elderly. Closed my premier account due to her & I wish her the worst for the way she treated people today. People often mention staff, bank, service, customer, time, account, helpful, branch, banking,

The new ‘modern’ system doesn’t work. There’s loads of machines and iPads but no one wants to use them so there’s a massive queue to speak to an actual person. If I wanted to use an iPad I’d do it at home. Some of the staff didn’t seem particularly helpful and they also seemed really understaffed for a Saturday. I was served by a lady called Wendy who was really fab. Hire more Wendy’s... lose the tech!

Sorry ladies couldnt find a testimonial page on your website, hope this gets picked up as you must get commended for your excellent customer service. Vicky and Michelle at Natwest Bolton were excellent in going out of their way and ensuring my Chaps payment went through on time. I got asked as I entered the Natwest Bolton branch what my nature of business was and as soon as they realised I was cutting it fine with the que and length of time I would have to wait they decided amongst themselves selves that they would assist me immediately to ensure my Chaps payment would be made before the cut off time. That is excellent and gives me faith that excellent customer service still exist. Well done to both of you. A satisfied customer.

Tried to open a bank account and all I got was arrogant attitude from a member of staff, I wouldn't recommend this bank to any person in the future. How ironic nat. West bank is part of the r.b.s group. Update 24/8/2018 I tried to pay money into my bank account via this bank only to be met by mouth and attitude by the same woman I had problems with early in the year. So I will be open and say poor customer service is rife in this bank. Or is it what I suppect the woman has a problem with a 60 year old disabled man, Because of poor customer service training of staff. Update I sent in a letter commenting on my poor customer service treatment and so far no reply upto 01/09/2018. 27/09/2018 during a conversation with the customer service department of r.b.s banking group that poor customer service is rife in this bank. The lady was shocked at what I told her.

I agree there always seems to be a que on the rare occasion I go in branch. There is always someone on the floor to assist in using the cash/check/ATM machines or helping you with other enquiries. I use online banking and find it so easy and convenient. I like the extra security features on the app that allow me to put in place the ones I want.

I was with santander for 20 years and couldn't upgrade my account, left to go to Natwest and have an amazing account and support online or phone 24hrs a day. Highly recommend this bank

The staff are fantastic! Despite the lack of them, Julie helped me achieve more in 5 minutes than 20 emails, 3hrs on the phone with an Ai robot and call centre staff whose sole job is to direct you to online banking that doesn't have basic features such as generating a statement on a new account. Julie is a legend.

The staff are very nice and helpful but there are long queues most of the time. They need more staff at the counters to reduce waiting times .

To computerised. Unless you use the machines daily they are very confusing and you have to wait for the only member of staff to help you while she tries to help at 3 other machines and meets and greats. Not a good look natwest

This is a person who has not been in the premises since I was left gob smacked at the time by a member of the then staff when I was trying to pay money into my Bank account. I was on the recieving end of mouth and attitude from the bank employee. Not a good impression to a member of the public.

Second review 9 months on and still just waiting in lines clearly don't listen to reviews and what customers want half the desks are empty and no one uses the iPads ! 20 minute wait to get a statement while staff sit in there office playing on there phones ! If I could rate 0 I would !

Always under staffed. Long wait! Its like you have come on a match day to buy tickets. They have already closed so many branches and that’s the only branch in this zone. There are three positions at counter but there is mostly just one person to serve and twenty people in queue. It seems management doesn’t care at all.

Staff are all lovely, and do not rush you, but there are simply not enough counters. Even when all 4 counters are staffed it is not enough because I still had to wait 20 minutes. This is normal whatever day or time I go in. You cannot ring this bank directly which is a problem. The staff and manager go well out of their way to assist disabled people.

Received really good service by both Michelle and Jenna. One of the best branch we’ve visited and can only speak high of them, they understood my mums need and were nothing but helpful.

  • 5/5 Christopher W. 3 years ago on Google
They had staff outside helping us to queue properly and manage how many people went into the branch. I needed help paying in a cheque as I hadn't handled a cheque for a very long time... And help was quick and forthcoming. I've banked here for years and still love going there, albeit less often with modern ways of banking.
