My previous review is below, for which I left a 5 * review. I've changed the rating following my recent visit. Took a Suunto Outdoor Watch in to have a new battery fitted. They didn't have the right tools in Knutsford, so they sent it to Macclesfield. It came back a few days later with the back plate screw heads damaged so the plate screws could not be removed. I kept asking the guy in the shop (not Mr Jones) what they would do and got no answer ... silence. I've ended up sending it back to Suunto for repair. A real shame. Last review from 2 years ago ... Took in my daughters watch, which she'd been given for Xmas. Needed a permanent link (as opposed to a removable one) removing from the bracelet. Work done in 45 minutes. Excellent service from all staff. Top drawer!

Excellent staff and provide great service for a wide-range of jewellery and watches. I regularly pop in and I just bought a bangle for Christmas and David dealt with me - he's first class, always and friendly, professional and knowledgeable.

Very poor experience - took in a Zenith 1960s watch for a service and the assistants didn't seem to have the most basic knowledge. At first I was told it just needed a battery - I had to explain that it was a mechanical watch to which I was told 'oh - its self winding then'. I then had to explain it was a hand wound movement. She then proceeded to man-handle the watch pulling the crown in and out forcibly. I couldn't get out fast enough. I have since taken the watch to another local service where they serviced it and it is working a treat.

Fab service, had a slight issue with some pearls I bought for my daughters wedding and David was great and made sure I was sorted

I really liked the shop! I went to buy my daughter a ring and to resized my wedding ring! David was respectful and trusted gentleman! I highly recommend this shop, I will definitely go back again.

Just called in on a Saturday afternoon to see is my rings could be cleaned. Really friendly helpful staff my rings were left and collected a couple of hours later all sparkling like new! Very happy with the service! Will definitely go there again

I have a bought a few items from Jones in the past and they have serviced my watch. I am always really impressed with their customer service, the staff are friendly, helpful and go the extra mile.

Went in because I though my watch needed a battery, was advised that it was a capcitor and the sun should charge it. Placed in the sun and it's now working fine. No charge from PR Jones. Thank you.

Absolutely brilliant David can't do enough to help Bought a bracelet for the other half but it needed adjustment took it back and the work was done perfect its been extended the work done looks absolutely in place as if it was there when originally made Highly recommend his shop will buy from here again Carl

Needed a watch battery doing, cost a tenner and was done in 15 minutes on a Saturday. Good all round.

Walked in to get a new watch strap and walked out with a Rolex. Not the purchase that I was planning on making. But a happy customer and the staff there are GREAT!
