I went to faces for the baby doll tweakments package at the end of August, the clinic is lovely and really clean however I honestly wish I hadn't been. I can't say much about the rest of the filler but my lips had been left a mess, after going down twice to the clinic and sending after pictures of my lips, they wouldn't help me to get these sorted. I booked in for the package which included 1ml lips( i took a screenshot of the messages before this had been deleted by faces), the practitioner used 0.5 which I thought was fine if I didn't need this I'd still have some left over if needed for touch ups. When I went back in the hope of a correction she told me that the package was only 0.5 and that I needed to buy the rest to achieve the look I wanted and that it had been technique leading to the huge ball of filler (none had been put in the sides), I questioned this and explained the package being 1ml however my point was argued so I thanked them and left. Such a shame having the opportunity to correct these and leaving them that bad I've had to go elsewhere for correction. I only went because of the package deal and their reputation but I genuinely wish I'd stuck with my usual practitioner, wouldn't go here again, lesson learnt.

I went in for a non surgical nose job at the Manchester clinic (1hr 30mins away from me, but was the nearest clinic to me). Id previously used another company who did great, but the lady who did it for me had left that company and they didn't have a replacement yet. After seeing their amazing transformation pics on their Instagram, I booked in with Faces By AKJ. I didn't need a huge transformation, my nose was just too straight and sharp, and I wanted the nice, natural slope. I showed the lady my previous nose job that I really liked, so she could see my expectations and the quality I'd had before. I noticed the different technique straight away. The lady who did it before, did a lot of smoothing and shaping after she had added the filler. The lady at Faces just added the filler and next to none shaping. A week later and my nose looks no different whatsoever. (They say wait 2 weeks before making a judgement, but I could see the change straight away with the last company). My small bump hasn't even been filled in. I had lumps of filler the day after and I emailed them for aftercare info. A week later...still no reply. Maybe they only reply to emails pertaining to bookings? I've now contacted the previous business I used (now they have a replacement) to hopefully get them to do an actual non surgical nose job for me, as unfortunately I didn't get that with Faces.

I never leave negative reviews anywhere, and i was sure i’d already written and posted this at the time but can no longer seem to find it online, but i need to share my AWFUL experience here so other people are aware. I was a model at the Manchester clinic for lip filler just days after I turned 18. no ID check was taken place at all. I’d wanted to come to this place for years, thinking it was the best in the industry after looking at their Instagram, but I obviously hadn’t done my research after seeing all of these reviews. After checking in to reception and filling out some online forms, I was left in the waiting area for 2 HOURS & 30 MINUTES after my allocated appointment time. At this point i should have ran for the hills, huge red flag. my numbing cream was no longer effective as i had been left for so long, so the receptionist had to re-apply the cream 2 times! I asked multiple times how much longer i’d have to wait. Finally i was taken upstairs and had a very brief consultation with the trained professional and her trainee. The whole procedure was HORRIBLE, it was clear the trainee was not at all ready to be practicing on a human. more than half of the 1ml filler had been placed in the left half of my upper lip before she even started to place it anywhere else, to which the trained practicioner sounded very worried at. I left the appointment already feeling very swollen and sore, as my lips had been punctured way too many times. over the course of the next week, my lips blew up to a size i didn’t think could happen. They were insanely swollen, uneven and lumpy to the point where I didn’t leave the house as I was mortified at what I’d let someone do to my face. I contacted the trained practicioner who oversaw the treatment multiple times to express my major concerns, to which i was told it was a very normal reaction and that u should just wait for the swelling to reduce. This never happened, and in fact my lips ended up getting in a worse state. I felt very ignored and dismissed, and felt no choice but to threaten legal action unless i was retreated by a fully trained professional and had all filler dissolved. At this point, I was seen almost immediately, was given somewhat of an apology for the experience and had my lips dissolved. Overall a truly shocking experience with this company, and cannot believe a company so ‘prestige/professional’ allowed such a thing to happen.

I had 1ml of filler in my lips last month and I’m so so happy with them. The first time I had filler elsewhere I found it so incredibly painful and it took so long. At AKJ my practitioner Chelsea was so so quick and minimal pain! I can’t imagine going anywhere else now. I’ve recommended AKJ to everyone.

I booked in for lip filler at one of their ‘clinic days’ when I was 17, a week before turning 18. I was not asked for any ID whatsoever and not informed of absolutely anything I should have been. I asked what filler they were going to use and they said juvaderm. I have since tried to get my lips dissolved because of how hard and lumpy they were. Which by the way, the company did not offer to resolve what so ever and told me they need to ‘settle’? Yet the hardness was only getting worse. They looked so terrible I had to get them dissolved. It took me over a year of trying since I was informed that they had actually used revolax on me. 3 dissolvings later. I STILL have multiple medium sized bumps on my top lip and a huge bump on my bottom. My lips look ridiculous. I am writing this review a few years after the mishap and yet even now my lips are unresolved. They never reached out or responded to any emails or Instagram dm’s. Disgusting. Do your research and go to someone medically qualified, don’t be silly and go to someone that doesn’t even check whether you’re legally old enough!

Do not use this company, especially the London branch. I had to threaten them with legal action as it took nearly a month to get my deposit back. No apology either. Treatment was rushed and uneven. So many other great places you can go to.

Im in love with my jaw it looks amazing and im very happy with Amy's work. I just found it abit difficult booking and getting advice as a new filler girl, so what i booked for changed when i arrived after i spoke to Amy. So it would be good to speak to her when booking or have someone to give that advice as it was hard to get solid information beforehand, but nonetheless all was fine and i would rebook with Amy now that she's advised me during the appointment what i should get next time, but getting in contact or to speak about concerns was the only issue xx

Worst company ever, we booked a traning and paid 50% deposit. 1 day before the training when I asked them about the time of the training they said that the training is cancelled. I already had booked my flight and hotel. I couldn’t change my flight and hotel because of the late notice. It also took me 3 months and several letters from my lawyer to get my deposit bank. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. BE AWARE of these thieves.

Been using faces by AKJ for 6 years now. I travel from Birmingham to gey my lips done by Amie (now happy that they have a clinic day in brum) Iv had treatment done at the academy amazing service cant wait to come back for more❤️

Very skilled staff who give you a realistic idea of what can be achievable. They don’t just do a ‘one size fits all’ job, they look at your face and consider the best treatment(s) to achieve a balanced look overall. Definitely recommend!

Total waste of money! I was a model 3 weeks ago for a 6ml package plus I paid for an extra ml on the day so 7ml in total. After seeing all the pictures on Instagram I was really excited and hoping for a real snatched look but unfortunately when I was handed the mirror after a ver rushed procedure by a fully trained practitioner might I add while a trainee watched I was horrified to see no difference what so ever. I’ve been having filler for years and seen more noticeable results from 1ml never mind 7and to top it off not one person has noticed I’ve had anything done so that proves my point. Don’t waste your money .Im now having to pay for the whole procedure again elsewhere 😠

I’ve been to faces in MK a few times, every time the staff have been so lovely and made me feel so comfortable. All practitioners I’ve had have paid lots of attention to what I want to achieve. Highly recommend!

I visited the clinic at Milton Keynes today for the first time. I felt like I was walking into a dream. The clinic itself is beautifully decorated. I was greeted like I was an old friend, felt so comfortable and at ease straight away. Simona did my treatments and I’m absolutely over the moon, she is not only extremely knowledgable, but is gentle and takes the time to listen, ask questions and advise. If I could give a hundred stars I would. Definitely my new favourite place and people.

For someone who new to aesthetics, as I was a year ago, I wanted to post a review as the girls at FACESMK are incredible. Simona goes out of her way to make you feel super comfortable, talk through everything, giving tips and knowledge - she’s a true expert. She has given me back a confidence and I can’t recommend them enough.

The staff are great but I’m giving 2 stars due to the way the prices have gone up is, it’s SHOCKING and so sad. Me and my daughter have both been loyal customers and we have been coming for years but my last visit wasn’t a good one for my pocket. My visit previously to this, I paid over £310 for botox in various places and free top up but this time I paid over £540 for the same areas and they no longer do free top ups. It upsets me because all the employees are great at their work but due to the steep price rises, I can’t afford to return. They also need to inform their customers of the price rises as I didn't know and I was shocked when it came to paying! If I had known the price rises, I wouldn't have come! I’ll be going elsewhere in the future!

I’ve been getting fillers at MK clinic for the past 5 years, all the staff members are kind and welcoming. The fillers always last for ages and done with such care compared to anywhere else I’ve been in London. It’s defo worth the visit. 100% recommend. 😌

After years of having insecurities about my nose lumps and bumps, I braved getting a non surgical rhinoplasty. I had never had any sort of filler treatment before so was quite nervous. After lots of research I found FaceMK. From the minute I walked in, I felt welcomed and that the occasion was all about me. All the staff are so friendly and take their time. Today was my first time ever getting any cosmetic work done, and I truly believe I had the best possible person about to do it for me at the London Clinic. Dan and Caprice showed nothing but outstanding customer service, the conversation, the positivity, the dedication, the time and attention, the patience that Caprice gave me was out of this world, I was so scared and she made me feel so at ease, my insecurities completely disappeared, the confidence I had as soon as I left (once I wiped the happy tears away) I didn’t think it was possible, I never thought I would get that and today I did, and I’m so thankful and so grateful. A lifetime customer.

I couldn't have had a better first experience at the Faces by AKJ London clinic, Daniel and Nurse Caprice were amazing! Caprice helped me decide on what treatments to have and was so gentle I barely felt a thing. My results are very natural and I couldn't be happier. Terri is so lovely and always so welcoming making you instantly feel at ease , both Simona and Georgie are brilliant and their work is 10/10 ! Today I returned to Faces by Akj Manchester branch clinic for my jawline sculptor filler. Once again i was absolutely amazed by the incredibly high standards that faces show! The clinic is so clean and hygienic and everything is sanitized wiped down thoroughly. The staff our outstanding starting with the lovely Nicky on reception greeting you with a warm welcome on arrival. Lorraine was also around who was really helpful when i had questions to ask. And Lewis the amazing practitioner who spent his time talking through the treatment beforehand with me and then was supportive all the way through the treatment and has done exactly what i asked for! I am so pleased with the work he has done i wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Ive been going to Faces in Milton Keynes for the past 4 months for the Lemon bottle injections and lip fillers! Ill start from the beginning, my first experience of getting my lip fillers was the first time i met this lovely team! I was ever so nervous and never thought id be able to do it. But then, i met Simona and Terri-Anne. They made me feel so relaxed and comfortable it all went very smoothly, Terri-Anne was so welcoming and loving I instantly felt less anxious. My original appointment was booked for 1ml however as i explained my desired look and with the questions Simona asked she recommended 0.8ml and honestly so glad i had listened to her as this was more than enough for me and the results were amazing! I now travel all the way to Milton Keynes from London every month only because i cant imagine trusting anyone else than Simona and obviously to see lovely Terri. Thank you for an amazing experience every time i visit the clinic. Cant wait to see you next month!

Me & my best friend flew from NYC to the Milton Keynes location and weren’t disappointed. Everyone was so kind and made sure we didn’t leave with any questions unanswered. The spa is absolutely gorgeous and they take cleanliness very seriously as they’re constantly disinfecting. My injector was senior practitioner Teya who made sure that I was educated on what she was doing every step of the way. She really took her time and made sure that I was comfortable. The Milton Keynes salon is nothing like I've ever seen before. Not only does it have the most beautiful aesthetics but the service is unbeatable. The staff can not do enough to make you feel comfortable before your treatment. I cake for my first treatment here years ago and I can say I've not had aesthetic treatments as good as the girls at Faces MK! I would recommend them to everyone!
