When the sky is clear and the day is bright, the view is spectacular. This alp is not as popular as the others so it is not as crowded. The restaurant food is a bit pricey and the selection few, but the staff are nice and friendly and they can help suggest food choice if you're a bit undecided.

This place is reached by a long hike or a not so long cable car ride. The main reason for going is the views. They are stunning, over the Rhine valley to Austria and Liechtenstein and down into the Swiss valleys and towards Appenzell and Lake Constance. Food was quite good though we only really had a snack. Worth taking the time for the restaurant to perform a whole revolution so you get all the views.

Cozy revolving restaurant with friendly staff atop the mountain. 🗻 While I can't speak for the food, I enjoyed a coffee here before catching the last cable car down. Loved the changing view while sipping my beverage! ☕️ 🚠

Very lousy service from the waitress. They would better offer if they recruit more custumer-friendly staff and fire the current one. The food is overpriced for the quality you get.The view is unquestionably nice!

I cannot recommend the self service restaurant, high price for low quality. If you can't afford the rotating restaurant, bring your own food for Picknick.

Loved it. Welcoming staff. It was great that we had two locals to travel with us to fill the gap in communication. Ride was a memory of a lifetime.

We received a voucher for brunch at the Hoher Kasten. It was an exceptionally nice morning and we ate more than one round of the revolving restaurant. The staff was very friendly and expeditious and the food at the buffet was plentiful and delicious. It is mandatory to make reservations or you won't get a seat.

Highly recommend if the weather is clear blue sky. Top revolving restaurant. An hour for one complete round. Able to witness 6 different countries while enjoying a warm delicious beef together with local beer and wine.

Food was not good in terms of price and perfomance. Some meat wasnt fully cooked and the Sauce wasnt special. Schnitzel very small and basic. saladsauce pre bought. toilet smelling awfull. i guess drinks and stuff are okay but how could you go wrong there thought this was some highclass food place but it seems more like a tourist attraction for people who like to spend money. wouldnt recommend it if you want some gourmet food just swiss normal dishes you can get served at otherplaces for a normal price ngl tho the view can be good and the idea is nice too

Great swiss breakfast with some traditional options. Recommend getting there early to enjoy the experience and take your time. Can get very busy

Fantastic. From the pleasant conductor on the cable car, the beautiful rotating restaurant, awesome Rösti and rässe Appenzeller Käse...great way to start the day. Wonderful Alpen Gartenlandschaft as well!
