The park is not maintained well. I think in aluva there are no place to spend time with family. Aluva is a major city in kochi but still authorities are other even looking at its development. There is no good park no good malls in aluva. If the park could maintained well it would be useful kids and family stay near aluva. Currently no proper cleaning is not happening at park. Play materials for kids are not maintained properly. They can charge a small entrance fee and gain money for day to day maintenance.

It was a good park... But recent flood affected this place badly... And the municipality didn't take any action...now It's in very bad condition

Recently renovated and opened for the public. Now it's neat and tidy. I hope it will remain like this. No entry fee. Limited parking area available on the right side of the park which is difficult to spot for the first timers. Mosquito control programs should be there. As evening comes lots of mosquitos are coming to hunt you.

Opening time 4PM-8PM. Nice place to go with friends & families or go to spend time alone or a walk and have a good time. Inside there is a recreational park for children. The main issue I have seen there is that a few antisocial men(mostly 30-70 age uncles) come there looking for boys or young guys(not sure yet what they really want?). Serious issue, which should be addressed. Better not visit after once the sun is set.

This park is closed due to covid 19. But we can go to the back side of park, where there is a walkway near to Periyar river. Calm and quiet now a days 😇 Walkway starts near to Sri Krishna temple Aluva and ends at walk bridge 🌉 to Manappuram Temple. Recommend this place for a walk

Where is the park now.. ALUVA municipality do action for renowating and reopenings fastly.. The only place For children's near Aluva. It will affect very badly to council..

This park has very high potential if it's well maintained, being on the bank of periyar and facing Aluva manappuram. But the entire place is slowly becoming a grassland because of poor maintenance. The play area is okay for now. If it is properly maintained, it could serve as a hangout spot for people from Aluva and beyond.

Great hangout spot

Park with a small area for kids activities. The same includes seesaw, climbers, swivels, sliders only. Children play area could have been improved a lot with modern fibre play structures rather than the conventional metal ones. The traffic park is non operational. No Butterflies were spotted in the butterfly park though the name board exists. Stairs to periyar riverside is there for enjoying the river side. A small outlet of beverages, ice cream and snacks is also there. The park could have been improved a lot with modern day play structures.

Great community park 👌🏿 The only reason i give 1 star less is because of the timing. It's an evening only park (3 to 8.30pm). I wish if it was opened for 2 to 3 hrs in the morning.. so that people could do jogging and other work outs in that refreshing environment!

Have seen it in the past, with full glory. It's almost a mess now. Previously, it used to have a big, old building in the middle of a very will maintained garden. Also had children's park with good amenities. Now, it stands as a mismanaged facility. Could manage it very well if the authorities give a little attention to it and can be made a peaceful, leasure place for the people.

Although named as a park it has nothing inside to be called as a park. There are no enough play equipments or any other attractions. But since entry is free we cant ask for more. Its constructed in such a way that we could see and enjoy the beauty of river Periyar. May be we can sit and relax for a few minutes and thats it! Its actually a good spot for a park in the middle of a town, but very badly maintained.
