very calm place... well maintained... Kids can peacefully enjoy playing, 3D was under maintenance, which may take a couple of weeks to resume. The butterfly garden is really attractive, lots of beautiful butterflies wandering here and there added more beauty to the park. Play area is very neat and well maintained. Totally a worthy place to hang around with kids.

Cochin children's park located near Reporter channel office in Kalamassery industrial area. Opens at 4pm till 8:30 pm. Calm atmosphere and well maintained with new addition of rides. Entry fee Rs 20/- above 3 years. 8D theatre show at Rs 50/- available. Small pedal boat ride for children available at Rs 10/- for 10 minutes. Musical fountain show at 7pm everyday. Good car parking space available. Good behaviour by staff.

In Kerala we start everything with the best available in the market and do not maintain it. Same is the case with this park also. The equipments are rusty or broken. The cushioning of sand is not provided for kids to land. The 8d theatre is okay. The musical fountain is ok.

A well-maintained, neat and calm place for children below 10 years. Nice play area, and kids can peacefully enjoy there. A lot of activities are available for kids. Date of Visit 28.01.2024 As we are staying here in Kochi since 1 year, first time we visited to Science park. Few points observed by us may be useful for someone who is planning to visit the park is listed below: # This park is under Kalamassery Municipality. # As usual, little bit more rush is there on weekends. # Park entry fee is ₹ 20/ person (adult or child both are same) # 8D show is also organised here and park is famous for the same. # It is advised to collect the ticket at the time of entry ticket (₹ 50/-) # There is one more activity inside the park, BOATING for kids, it is paid activity on the nominal charge as ₹ 10/ kid for 10 min. # Light show on the fountain is also beautiful to enjoy in evening (not happened during our visit). # Drinking water facility is available. # No shop or canteen is available inside the park, better to carry with or can buy from the outside of the park. # It is also advised to reach there before 4pm as enough parking space available but better to consider the rush. # No. of swings, slides are available for kids and sitting area of elders. Hope this much is enough to have an idea and to decide the visit. Pics are attached.

The only advantage I feel of being a tax payer is the Kalamaserry children's park, a usual visitor since its inauguration. Fee of entry and 8D show are very economical, a big field, can easily accommodate 100+ kids. The authorities maintains its pretty decent.

One of the beautiful and well maintained park located at kalamassery near medical college. The authorities are maintaining well and there are lots of play area and equipments for kids. Kids will enjoy the park very much. There is a 8d theatre inside the park with the fee 50rs for adults. A small butterfly garden is there at the end of park there we can see some wide variety of butterflies. Parking facilities are good and it's free. Visiting this place after many years, glad that it survived and appreciate the authorities who took initiative for maintaining it in neat condition for all these years. Happy to see my daughter happy. Light show was under maintenance when I visited today, 8D show is active, no fixed time for that, it will be announced the you could buy the tickets. No food options where seen nearby. It would be nice if there is a restaurant inside. Tried to visit this place during one weekend 2 months back it was hard to find place to park the car even on the road. So I guess it would be best during weekdays.

It’s has quite decent area unfortunately none of the playing item are not free from rust. Evening lot of people are using this paid service. I found many items are very dangerous / harmful to kids because rusty are sharp edges due to rust. Kids and many parents are aware of that. Even if it free , it should be safe conditions, then what about. paid services. It such bad conditions, I think it’s simply money looting. Butterfly park are good but none of / very less the kids are enjoying it

good place and very peaceful during evening times.. children will love it if they love nature and outdoor park games.. they got musical water fountain too.. its quite good to relax if you reach there after 7pm but ull miss the butterflies by that time.. :(

Such a wonderful place to be. Per person 20₹ ticket. Water ride per kid 10₹. It's cheap and Place is well maintained. Worth it. Number of swing and slides available. Kids, family are welcome. Place is mainly for kids. I didn't took much photos you may search for the same. Food you won't get nearby. In clean you can get ice cream. There is an mini theatre which costs 50/person. 3/5 minutes I think. Worth it.

Cochin Children’s Science park is located near Kalamassery Medical College.This park is spread across 5.25 acres of land and is very well maintained. There is enough space for kids to run around and have fun. A lot of play structures including swings and slides are there in the park.Ticket charge is 20 ₹ per head. There is a musical fountain show at 7 PM and 8 PM. 8 D theatre is another main attraction of the park for which the ticket charge is 50₹ per head. They will provide Glasses which should be returned back.The show is for 5 minutes only but is very entertaining. There are a few food carts that sell bajii and ice creme in front of the park.

Very nice park located at Kalamasserry. Neat, clean and maintained very good as well. Ample parking space. Entry fee ₹20 per head(kids above 4yrs). 8D theatre available. The main highlight is the water dance at 7pm. Kids really enjoyed it. A hand pedalled boat for kids is also a worthy ride to be mentioned. Overall satisfied and highly recommended for kids under age 10.

Went with my daughter and her friend to spend the evening. Good place for kids upto 10y. Water boats are available for smaller children. Lots of place to run around and play. Playground with swings, slides etc are there. Good for half day visit. They have a butterfly park.. small stretch, but u can find few butterflies there. Planetarium is there but u need to get the ticket earlier so that u get the slot. We didn't know that. Want to try it next time. It can get crowded by evening and during weekends. Best is if u can make it by around 4:00 spend 2h. Problem u will face is with parking. It's a small road inside and out, can get stuck, especially if your vehicle is a big one.

There is a 8D THEATRE for which the entry fee is Rs.50 for adults and Rs.30 for children. The show was around 10-15 mins and was nice. There is a small pond which has BOATING facility for children. Its a hand operated plastic boat and is charged Rs.10 for one round which lasts around 10 mins. There are many swings, slides and climbers for kids. But the playing equipments are not well maintained. Many of them are rusty and some broken.

It’s really hard to find a place of this kind to spend an evening in Kalamassery.

On comparitive note with Ernakulam children's park this is far far better in terms of parking, pricing, activities and area. Most lovable calm and peace park in ernakulam. Kids will be more happier in the park. I enjoyed spending time there with the greenery. 8D show was good to Kids. But they need to work on maintenence of utilities of Kids.

Typical of anything run by the government. Staff are not helpful they are interested in chatting with each other than helping people who are there to visit. Questions go unanswered and if you ask again you are shouted upon. Special mention the rude gentleman at the 8D theater entrance. Plastic cover, biscuit cover, lays packet adorn the park. Have not found a single item that works that is Science related. No maintenance and they charge 20₹ for what is a mystery. The only good thing is the butterfly park (toward the end) where you can actually see butterflies. It's towards the end and hence not many people go there which helps.

Its a best evening hangout place for adults & kids. Park is kept clean and neat. Entry fee is 10 rupees for age above 3 years. Different varieties of playing equipments & scientific structures are there. So the Kids will get full time enjoyment. Also 8D Theatre (extra fee) and Musical fountain are the parks main highlight. A small 🦋 butterfly garden is there, but not worthy. Descent car parking space but no one is there to properly manage the same. Also the seats in 8D theatres are not comfortable. Sometimes we feel that something from seat pops out and hitting our back bone.

Good place to spend an evening with your kid. Lots of stuffs to play with, but unfortunately most of them are getting damaged due to no or bad maintenance by the authorities. Water fountain is a good watch. Large area, mostly crowded around weekend eve's.

Best Park ever seen for kids .A heartfelt thank you to the organizers .Lots of activities are available for kids so they don’t have to stand in queues in any way.It also provides an opportunity for children to play until late at night and up to 8 p.m for 20 rs entrance fee.Its also appreciable for short time boating at 10 Rs .It's better to take boating fee along with entrance fee.There is no staff inside the park to monitor and for giving instructions regarding safety and discipline of each activity .so it should be our own responsibility to take our safety. It's highly appreciable that there is no parking fees even have a good parking area.I am recommending all parents to take their child(especially up to 6year) for wonderful experience once in a week.

A very nice place to spend your evening with family. Ample parking space and the road is very good. Kids can enjoy a lot in the open space and there is enough seating space for the parents to watch them. Highly recommended for an evening break. One can easily commute here from kalamasserry through the medical college road.

Very nice destination for an evening out with kids and also a family friendly space with Play ground and all other facilities for children under age 15. Self pedaling boat, Swings, slides, playground climbers, see saws are here to play for children. The musical fountain is very beautiful and it doesn't need a special ticket to see it. The 8D theatre is worth it as well it charges ₹50 for adults and ₹30 for kids. The park is very neat and clean.

An excellent park for kids and spent some quality time with the family. The ticket price is only 20. Lots options available for children. There is also free musical fountains show at 7pm and 8pm. They have now introduced kids toy boating for RS 10. You need to pay around 40-50 on private parks for this. I would totally recommend this. There is lots space and seats available.

Good place near Kakkanad and Kalamassery for Childrens outings. Kids less than 10years would love the place. Reasonably well maintained park, dancing fountain at 7pm is an attraction. 8D show is also comparatively good. In general a good place spend an evening with kids at low expenses.

A hidden place in the middle of city where you find peace and spent with family or friends a day , forget all worries, ticket cost 20 for an adult , The park is beautiful and many place to sat and talk about your memories and your future with your partner. You may difficult to find this place. But it's better than Marian drive and clean place. Here also have a plantorium like theatre for cinematic graphic if you have kids with they may find it funny and enjoy very well

Weekends are extremely Crowded

It has running like a government firm. I think this has running in loss. If the operation has to be given to private or public private partnership this can be run with profitable. There has a lake but there has no activity, if authority provide speed boat that also a earning in future for the development of science park. I think kalamassery municipality will take proper steps to improve the operation in future.

One of the primary attractions at the Children's Science Park is, there are plenty of place for children to run around. The entire park is very well maintained and the beautiful green lawns give a clean and nature-friendly ambience to the park. The water light show starting at 7pm, it was awesome. Didn't get the 'science' part in the park... Park was spacious, beautiful and well-maintained, filled with greenery. Environment suitable for all ages. Butterfly Garden was a great experience with too many happy butterflies...! Didn't wait for fountain show at 7 pm, heard it's good. 8D show was not bad. Entrance fee Rs 20/- (free entry for children under 10 yrs) Some security personnel were irritating and bossy, maybe, it was Sunday and they had to deal with a huge crowd. Also, added to the situation, entry and exit was provided at the same small gate. At least, they could have used the larger gate slightly opened for exit controlled by another security personnel. Drinking water though provided at the back side of ticket counter at the entrance, it was empty and when asked to refill, didn't even mind the request 😕.

Recommended for kids & family. Due to high temperature during summer, recommend to visit after 5.30 PM. Park will be closed at 8.30PM. Heavy rush during weekends. Fees are reasonable both for entry and to watch cinema. To enter in boat, kids should not be taller. During our visit, kids below 7 years could enter inside boat.Musical fountain at night was also good.

Well maintained and neat place. Visiting here after many years and i am so glad that the place is much more better and authorities made good developments and new outdoor toys. There are plethora of trees and area so that children will have lot of fun and enjoyment. When I visited there was horse riding. We can purchase snaks and popcorn form nearby shops .

Good park but location is quite interior and hence calm and quiet area. Rides are in good condition but the scientific games and toys missing a few parts here and there. Hence fails the purpose. Its one of the public park for kids under kalamassery municipality, supported by Lulu group CSR fund. The park is kids friendly and there is a small entry fee for using this facility. Every evening they are hosting a beautiful water fountain light show for the visitors. The park is very clean and lawns are well maintained. Only thing i found lacking is maintenance of playground equipments in the park, most of the equipments found having rust.
