The place is easily the best hangout for younger crowds if sports on big screen and loud music is your jam, Pros: 1. Just the right ambience for a gastro pub. 2. Courteous staff. 3. No cover fee like fly high. 4. Good assortment of liquor. 5. Very competitive prices, affordable for most. 6. Really good food. 7. Valet parking. Cons: 1. For those who don't like loud music, that can be a turn off, because you can't even talk in that music. 2. They don't have bar stools at the counter, it's a suggestion guys, it'll help you get more people there.

Stunning lounge Bar. Nice ambience, big screen, sprakling washroom. Though cocktail menu is displayed, you get it only after 6PM. Price wise it is bit expensive. But food is below par. Seems the kitchen is same as the local bar.

Three nights in the row we ordered room service from the restaurant while staying at the Crystal Plaza Hotel. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. They have a very strong chef working in the kitchen who knows how to cook good quality food, consistently looking the same and tasting absolutely wonderful. I really hope someone will give the chef some compliments for the great work. We tried the grilled meat platter from the tandoori, the bread basket, Greek salad, garden salad and soups. Everything was delicious and presented beautifully. Highly recommend this place for food.

The entrance to the place looks really shady and hence a star less. But once inside, the ambience is nice and seating is well sorted. The price of the beer was on the higher side akin to Couchyn and Mezo. The beef conjee was exquisite. The quantity was sufficient and at par with other similar places. Calling out Anugra for providing a nice service.

Very happening lounge bar in the heart of Kochi city. Mixed crowd. Rate are reasonable. Service is mediocre coz it doesn't have a hospitality of a professional upscale pub after all it's an old contemporary bar turned pub. What more can we expect but it's a good change toward the right direction. Enough of sitting with oldies for drinks. Phew....

Adding on to the other reviews, I need to mention that the food here is fantastic!!! Most of the dishes I've had here are perfection namely the Deconstructed burger, Neimeen Thengapaalil Pollichathu, Kallappam, Fish fingers, Jumbo Prawns, and even the Greek salad. I think the prices are relatively better and you feel you are getting a good deal for what you pay.

Good food, great ambience. Packed post 4:00pm, so go grab yourself a table early. There’s an in-house DJ who plays good music and sets the tone for the night. You find a lot of like minded people here. I gotta say I enjoy Velocity. It’s a little on the expensive side but it’s definitely my go-to!

One of my favourite resto bar in Kochi. Food is just yummie. Ambience is also at the best. You will get good drinks and foods out there. Service is really good. Need to book table prior if you are going on weekend's and evening.

I would say i am glad that such a cool gastro bar has opened its doors for kochi. With the large screen tv and bar counter you would get a good ambience of any pub. There is good assortment of liquors which are almost the same rate as banglore but still not overpriced. Valet parking is also available for folks. You can reserve tables in advance but they will also let you enter without reservation once there are free tables. We tried the pulled chicken wings(which is essentially chicken lolipop) and chicken with signature cheese fondue. Both of which was good. I would say to try it out at least once to get the feel of it.

Been hearing about this place since I moved back to Kochi and finally got the time to properly go try out the cocktails and food. Won’t go into too much detail about the drinks here but we quite loved the chilli martini and the Alexander. For food, the pork ribs are a must try. The prawn dishes are flavourful but quite small in portions as they serve full shell prawns and the meat is quite less. Service was great and and they give good alcohol in all the cocktails which we loved! Definitely will visit again.

Velocity Bar in Crystal Plaza Building is a stylish venue. A good choice among nightlife and dining options. It has a cheerful ambiance. The bar and restaurant are always busy. I was asked for the ID card, but I don't know if it's mandatory. The rates were costlier compared to other similar bars around.

Good food, music, and drinks! I enjoyed dining there with both my family and friends. We even had a group dining session with my co-workers! The food and drinks were great!

A medium type beer parlour in Cochin city. Very quiet. Not crowded. Tasty dishes. Especially the chilly pork. Limited parking space. Anyway nice beer parlour.
