Place
for
an
unique
dining
experience
by
the
banks
of
Periyar.
Started
early
from
my
home
to
be
there
by
at
least
12.30
p.m.
just
to
be
there
before
it
gets
too
crowded,
but
reached
the
wrong
location
(Hotel
Al
Saj)😜
Somehow
preached
our
destination
and
got
ourselves
seated
before
the
rush.
Since
it
was
raining
off
and
on,
got
seated
inside
thus
not
getting
the
view
of
Periyar.
Ordered
soup,
chatti
choru,
beef
ribs,
chicken
biryani,
fried
rice,
honey
glazed
chicken.
Soup
-
okay
Chatti
choru
-
a
must
try
from
Al
Saj.
It
had
rice,
fish
curry,
fish
fry,
meen
peera,
kakka
erachi,
koonthal
roast,
chicken
fry,
beef
roast,
pappadam,
pickle.
Rice
is
unlimited.
An
average
eater
may
not
be
able
to
complete
the
whole
thing.
Beef
ribs
is
served
with
mandi
rice,
again
the
rice
is
unlimited.
The
spices
used
in
the
beef
ribs
was
unique
and
I
loved
this
one
❤️
Chicken
biryani
-
mildly
flavored,
not
spicy
at
all.
Fried
rice
-
average.
Honey
glazed
chicken
was
yummy.
Finally
washed
all
this
down
with
lime
soda
and
black
tea.
Portion
size
above
average.
Only
thing
I
found
lacking
is
that
the
food
was
not
served
hot.
Staff
very
friendly
and
do
guide
you
on
their
specialties.
Mohammed
Waskuruni
who
was
waiting
on
us
was
doing
a
great
job
👍
Happened
to
meet
Shiyas
ikka,
a
very
humble
person
who
is
the
man
behind
the
show,
but
you
can
find
him
doing
all
kinds
of
job
in
the
restaurant...WOW
👏
Great
work
Team
Al
Saj
Kitchen
👍
They
are
open
from
lunch
time
and
the
place
gets
really
crowded.
There
is
ample
parking
space.
There
is
also
a
small
open
play
area
for
kids
on
the
banks.
