Loved the ambience and food. Nicely arranged, tasty food and well behaved staff's. The rate is too reasonable.

Food: I loved it. They serve meals on a plantain leaf and don't give you the menu card, instead directly come to your table with the cooked items that's readily available and you select what you want. They will warm it up before serving. We had prawns roast, duck curry, squid and a fish fry. Bill came to 440/- for two. Food was fresh and very homely. I would say this is a must try in Aluva. Ambience: Simple, Non-AC. Place is clean. The place can get hot in the afternoon although there are fans. Parking: It's below the flyover, and car parking for max 2 cars. Maybe in a nearby lane you would be able to find more place to park cars.

The food is absolutely marvelous. The kozhuva fry, karimeen is to die for. The staff are friendly and extremely accomodative which makes this place a must try place.

It was really good food at Oru Puzhameen Restaurant. Stew is a must try with puttu/appam for breakfast.

I love the food here! This is the kind of food you expect while in Kerala - thani naadan (authentic traditional delicious food). If craving for tasty seafood, this is the place to go! The name of the restaurant itself makes me drool. I have tasted their prawns roast (bestseller), anchovies (kozhuva) fry, 2 types of fish curries, fish fry - all highly pleasing! I am yet to taste their chicken dishes but am sure that is also going to be a heavenly experience. Do call them up in advance and enquire to know the timings and available dishes, because the yummiest dishes might finish by the time you reach there (probably after 1.30 pm). Breakfast, lunch, dinner everything is available here though dinner timings may vary. Five stars to the restaurant that maintains hygiene, taste, courtesy at all times and is pocket-friendly too!

Ordered twice and got food wrapped in plantain leaf...expected the same on my third order and got white big rice instead of brown rice wrapped in cheap plastic with minimal quantity of curry including chapati masala...hated it.Will never recommend. update on 04/08/2019 Replying to your comment- How would I know you keep changing the way you pack rice and keep minimal quantity of curry unless mentioned..
