The service is amazing. The on site chef would make any dish we requested. We bought fish and shrimp and they cooked it for us and it was absolutely the best we had. George the onsite manager was very nice he would explain all the flavors we where eating and was very helpful no mater what we asked for. The air conditioning in the rooms and dinning areas was perfect. I would stay here over any other 5 star hotel in the area.

Went here for lunch. Food was mediocre and service awful. We waited 20 mins to go through the whole payment process. Also we did not get all the things we ordered. Very expensive also for what you get here.

The ambiance is nice but the service is slow and the “Artisanal Sandwich” is just disappointing. Fresh seasonal vegetables are just tomatoes, cucumbers and onions. Furthermore it comes with cheese which is not mentioned in the Menu. The bread was just dry. The drinks we ordered with ice came without. Sorry but for the hefty prices, I expect a little more.

Beautiful property- where art mixes with architecture and nature. Located at the heart of Fort Kochi, property is right next to Jewish synagogue. The vintage run down charm of the surroundings is well incorporated into the property- which also has its bit of history. Staff and service was fantastic- thanks Dinooj and team for a great stay!!!

NOT recommended- had really looked forward to the experience of staying at a Postcard property but it was rather disappointing. No AC at night for 2 out of 3 nights + circuit breaker board in the room behind a wooden cupboard with no metal door: it's a huge fire hazard especially with a faulty circuit breaker/ wiring. We booked Gallery 5 for 3 nights. We lost electricity for 2 out the 3 nights we were booked here. Waking up 2 nights drenched in sweat - and sleeping most of both nights without AC in May - was not our idea of a comfortable stay at this price point. We also had a conference to attend- it was not fun being tired 2 days because we had got such less sleep. Apparently the electrician fixed it on the first night- yet I kept hearing the circuit breaker board buzzing everytime we would switch on the AC and while it was on. On the third day, had a scare because the AC was on and the room filled with smoke. Had a total freak out and I ran out of room- thankfully realised it was a false alarm- some leaves were being burnt. Overall a most dissatisfying experience and we find it hard to recommend this to anyone. The rooms are beautiful and the staff & manager are rather sweet- which is why the 2 stars for those points. However compromising safety or comfort for aesthetics is frankly not appealing.

It’s like walking into a concept wonderfully executed without destroying the history of the place one bit. Mandalaly hall is a gorgeous place you shouldn’t miss in Mattancherry. Made me feel like the Biennale never ended 💁🏽‍♀️

We ate at AAh restaurant because it promised contemporary Kerala cuisine. They were out of many of the dishes on the menu, no one else was there and it was all pretty average Kerala food. The special lemonade was described as having orange, mint and basil, but had none of that and was a standard lime soda. All in all nothing special.

The Postcard Mandalay Hall is a meticulous tribute to the authentic Jewish culture, with a keen attention to detail in its design. The comfortable bed, spacious room, and, of course, delicious food made our stay exceptional. The captivating artwork, which is a hallmark of this hotel, truly immerses you in the city's culture. I can't wait to return soon.

Great location, room size premium room is quite comfortable and accommodating. Staff is very cordial. Breakfast is excellent with every variety available and the catering staff is always on the toes to serve you well. Housekeeping staff needs some training in terms of bedding arrangements and room cleanliness. Small small things make a difference. So kindly look into this for better prospectus. Thanks

First time in life I have seen a hotel that looks like a house that is old and forgotten. Very unique.. they have just 5 rooms and which are super expensive.. everything is given a anitque touch in the interiors. Interesting atleast to visit if not stay.

We didn't stay there. We went for lunch after seeing the famous jew church. Pros 1. Just near to the famous jew church. Around 100 meters. 2. Food is very fresh and tasty 3. Very nice and serene atmosphere. We can sit, relax and enjoy food items. Cons 1. Food preparation time is little long. 2. Food is very costly. Please avoid if you are budget concerned. 3. Don't recommend stay for ordinary people. Its purely designed for foreigners.

If you are at the biennale, drop by the postcard and try the Kerala sadhya meal. We were a group of nine and the postcard hotel put up an awesome food experience. Thanks to Vishnu for the great service. It’s a small but beautiful hotel. Advance booking recommended

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Jew Town. It perfectly balances the historical roots of the building while incorporating modern amenities and comfort. George and the whole staff went above and beyond for my two stays at this hotel and the food was delicious. George suggested lots of tasty traditional Kerala foods I was able to try and I was pleasantly surprised with how much I liked each dish. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone going to the Kerala area!

We walked in for a coffee. Ended up liking the place and spent an hour there. The staff were so friendly. They introduced us to the house cats Pepsi, Simba and Snowy (and her kittens). It’s a renovated Jewish home which functions as a boutique hotel right in the middle of Jew Town. It offers luxury stay experience and some cool photography spots. Loved the whole vibe.

The Postcard Mandalay is a gorgeous little boutique hotel in the heart of old town Kochi. Everything about this property, right from the hospitality to the rooms were impeccable. If you’re someone who appreciates architecture, interiors and art, you’ll love the tastefully designed rooms at this property. The property manager George and his team were very attentive and constantly checked on us to make sure we were comfortable. The property is less than a 2 minute walk from the Paradesi synagogue. We’d love to return here whenever we’re in Kochi next.

Very unique concept , a real art experience for art lovers! Each room is tastefully done up by different artists ! Walking distance from the historic mattancherry synagogue. Very very friendly staff and excellent services. The restaurant attached to the hotel is the best place to try out contemporary Kerala cuisine!

According to the manager, From this(the board outside) we are to assume that they don't serve food for walk-in guests !! Contemporary Kerala Cuisine served in 'secret'...has a psuedo vibe

An amazing cozy place, if you are into a concept restaurant and perfect Fort-Kochi vibes of clicking some sun-kissed photos this is the niche.

A lovely little villa, with lovely rooms, lots of Jewish history. Very close to Synagogue. The rooms are galleries of works of artist.

The person answering the calls has a high handed attitude. He needs training on how to interact with customers. When we mentioned that we may take photographs of the place he mentioned that it is separately chargeable.
