Amazing drinks by Sara. The cinnamon roll French Toast was amazing. Of course, the city grits were on point. The pumpkin spiced waffle was decent. The shrimp and grits were awesome. The banana bread French Toast was bland and left something to be desired. Overall, though, it was an amazing meal. 2.13.22 update Another visit and another great experience. Amazing customer service and the quality of the food is always fresh and delicious. I will say though that the strawberry shortcake French toast is not among the best tasting dishes. The cinnamon roll is still undefeated! Keep up the great work. 9.3.22 update Bourbon Street Pancakes are absolutely delicious! The pancakes were fluffy and tasty. The butter pecan sauce with rum is incredible. Definitely see why you need to be 21 to eat them, nice rum flavor topped with bananas and pecans! Perfection on a plate! The short ribs were very good along with the gouda grits. Never had pickled watermelon rinds before but certain paired well with the entire dish. The supreme omelette was fantastic. It was large and delightful to the last bite. And to top it off our waiter Adam was top-notch in his customer service. This was another awesome experience at ABE but it's exactly what I've grown accustomed to. Keep up the amazing work!

I have been wanting to try. I finally did. The wait to be seated was about 30 minutes. But it was well worth it. Everything was seasoned well and tasted so good. We were all full. We enjoyed every bite. Our server Sarah T. Was amazing and attentive. We will be back..

I love going here service is always professional and personable. This is a great date place💞 I don't see many children in this place mostly adults enjoying a quiet breakfast🤔 I have seen children in there but they're generally well behaved and you don't know they're there but for the most part I've seen mostly adults. But everything I've eaten I have enjoyed. And sometimes we share because the portions are enough for two and then you can always set aside of extra side toast or whatever you want for yourself if you need to.

Over priced, half way decent food. I stopped in with my 4 kids yesterday. I don't know what I was thinking, but they all decided they wanted thr chocolate chip pancakes. The chocolate chips were not IN the pancakes. They were just piled on top, and in between the pancakes. Made for the biggest mess I've ever experienced at a restaurant! By the end of it all of my children had tummy aches. Thankfully we had the best waitress on the planet! Jay took such good care of us! She stay close, constantly asked us what we needed and brought my kids some toast and fruit to help settle their stomachs. She was so sweet and helped me take good care of my sweet kids. This amazing woman was dead on her feet, very pregnant and still she took the time to give us the best service I've had in a long time.

Went around noon on a Sunday. There was a bit of a wait to get in, about 30 minutes. Understood there would be a wait, no issue with that. Service was fantastic. Kyle was his name. He did drop my plate of food on the floor breaking it and sending food and plate pieces everywhere, but he was fantastic. Great attitude. i had the southwest scramble. It was not that flavorful... Potatoes were good, but eggs lacked flavor. My kids got pancakes and they were huge and delicious. My wife had a basic traditional. It was ok. Food came out a bit slow, which i get because they were busy, but not a super exciting meal for the wait and the cost. Party of 6 easily close to $100 breakfast.

This breakfast was so fresh and delicious. The fruit was sweet and not mushy. I appreciated the cook that made my meal. Everything was so good. Look at my pictures and you’ll see for yourself. The coffee was hot, not warm but hot and flavorful. Not just brown tasteless water. Our server was courteous and so kind. And those coffee mugs are so unique. Fantastic place for breakfast.

Went here back in October, was great. Food was good, came out in a timely manner. Came this afternoon, food was very undercooked. Beignets came with a cup of powered sugar. Half of my breakfast potatoes were raw, eggs were raw. Tenders came out cold, with lukewarm gravy. Did not have them remake, but received a 25% discount on the messed up items. Mimosa was great, as well as the service.

Delicious coffee in cute mugs. Crab cake benedict?! Yes, please. I wish I could have tried more. Lemon with goat cheese pancakes, shrimp and grits, and so many more options. I was just visiting from MN, but loved every bite.

My wife and I just had lunch at this location and thoroghly enjoyed it. We were served by Marissa who did a superb job and enhanced our visit even more. The food, as always, was delicious. One of our favorite places to eat. Please let Marissa know how much we appreciate her.

This place is spectacular! The host was the sweetest, our server Crystal was absolutely amazing and since we were first time guests they gave us a free plate of DELICIOUS beignets. We will be coming back!!!! Keep doing whatcha doing!

I stopped by here for an impromptu brunch before an appointment, and I’m so glad I did. I ordered the shrimp and grits and the strawberry st. Germain mimosa, and they were both 10/10. The flavor of the shrimp and grits was unreal. I read previous reviews that it was too spicy, but I thought it was perfect. They give you a generous amount of shrimp and sausage and the cheesy grits are delicious. It took everything in me not to lick the bowl when I was finished. My mimosa hit the spot as well. Shout out to my server, Jaden, who was always within eye distance if I needed her but also gave me space to enjoy my meal lol! I will be returning for sure!

I woke up and spontaneously chose to take my mom out to breakfast. I heard great things about this place, I figured I’d give it a try, and I’m SO GLAD I DID 🤩🤩🤩 Most definitely a chill, warm atmosphere with great service and great food. Our waitress was Hailey, and she always a delight. She made us laugh quite a bit ☺️ We will definitely be back with other relatives so they can try it as well! 😃 We are all new to Texas (from Maryland), so we’re glad to be discovering all the great food spots 😎

I went today for the first time for Veterans Day! The host was very nice and my server was friendly and absolutely amazing. The restaurant was very clean and neat. The French toast meal was outstanding. Everything was delicious. I do plan on coming back next month for a birthday brunch!

Nice chill spot. The waitress Hailey, in my opinion, became upset when we told her not to call grown women..."girls". The food was pretty good, I just wish the grits and potatoes were hot, but they were room temp. The pitcher of Lemon Blueberry Mimosas was yummy 😋 and I appreciated Hailey telling us how to pour to avoid spillage. I will try this spot again

Service was awesome and the food was the best I have had in Texas. Katera was the server and the coffee never went empty. Not only with us but other customers also. Asked to talk to the manager and met Jeremy. He came out and sat for a minute. You can tell he had a love for restaurants and for the food business. I will return!!! Thank you!!

Tried this place for the first time today and are overwhelmingly impressed! Fast seating and quick service with high quality food! Our waiter, Ethan W. was amazing! We had the Blackstone Benedict and the eggs were poached to perfection! We also had the Cinnamon Role French Toast that was like a trip to Cinnabon for breakfast! Highly recommend!!

This was our first time visiting the establishment and the food was great but what really made a memorable experience was the level of service we received from our server Marrissa! She was extremely accommodating and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had an amazing visit and we’re satisfied with every part of our meal. She offered many accommodations and was just a real sweetheart. Thanks Marissa & staff for an overall lovely experience!

The food was incredible and served fresh & hot. Drinks were also good! As a 'tourist' to the area, I was not disappointed! Can't recall our servers name (as I visited back late December) but she was attentive and friendly.

Terrible service at the cafe will not return . The servers 5 pictured in this are all chatting at the bar with 2 customers instead of attending to the guests waiting to be served They were loud and non attentive to our requests. Waited 45 mins for our order to be taken and another 45 mins for the food to arrive . The worst brunch experience in Southlake

1st time ordering here & Im super disappointed. I literally had to trash me & VP’s lunch. He ordered a pumpkin pancake that was dry and his bacon was burned (see photo) even the preparer wouldn’t have wanted to eat bacon that way. I ordered chicken and waffles… My chicken was over cooked, dry and my waffle was hard and crunchy (see video). Whoever made our order just didn’t flat out care. My waffle literally sounded like I was eating a bag of chips. Aren’t waffles supposed to be fluffy & light? The sad part is, I’m unable to leave the office to get us something else to eat.

I love this restaurant! The food is so flavorful and plated nicely. We have tried the majority of the menu and we haven't found a dish we disliked. Definitely recommend!

Our waitress Morgan was really sweet and her customer service was great. She recommended several items on the menu that she felt fit what we had a taste for. I made very specific requests for my food and she got everything perfect. I only gave 4 stars because the food was good, but not great.

Had a great experience. Service and food were perfect. Jamari was friendly and attentive. Eric the manager stopped by and introduced himself. Very energetic and pleasant. Eggs benedict were amazing, and the city grits were spot on. Highly recommend this location for food and staff.

The atmosphere is simple and comfortable but still classy. The food tastes as good as it looks. Everything looks like it was right from a magazine ad. It is that nice clean fresh breakfast not a greasy weigh you down breakfast. The service was too notch too. Would highly recommend this place to others.
