SEPT 2022 - The main artist is an architect who create glass into wonderful sculptures. I was thankful that the kids love the idea to visit the place to give them a glimpse of what other artists are able to achieve with their imagination. Previously you have to make a reservation but now, you can just walk-in. A tour guide will explain the history and will be kind to answer any questions. It's a 4 level building and don't worry the elevator is working. I've added photos of the pieces I like, and it makes you think how they manage to build it using simple tools... I wish they also included in display the power tools used and short video clip on how it is done. Glass combined with proper lighting is really nice specially if it has a differnt color than the usual glass material. Some items on display in the gallery at lower levels are also for sale... just look for a folder where you see the prices. Any question you may ask the tour guide. I wish I can own one glass center piece for our house, the violet color seems to the one my wife would definitely love. I am sure, I will have one in coming years... 👍

Really not a keen and knowledgeable person about art but the place is solemn. The entrance may be a bit expensive for just limited art pieces. Still a good place to visit in tagaytay. Entrance fee is quite expensive for like 300 per person for a limited art. They have 3 floors and each floor has different art. Not that spacious but still good. I hope they add a service where their staff can explain the history of these arts to visitors/tourists.

Museu Orlina, one of the top museums in the nation, is home to the magnificent glass sculptures created by Ramon Orlina. Enter to view the artist's finest creations, which are not only complex but also uniquely designed. The Museum is divided into several sections, each of which contains a gallery with a specific focus. Located in the Hollywood Subdivision on Hollywood St. Tagaytay, Cavite, Philippines: Tolentino East, Tagaytay City, Santa Rosa - Tagaytay Rd. The museum's sections consist of the following; *Reflections and Naesa *Ningning *Anna *Displays on the lower level *Sculpture Garden and Amphitheatre *Art cars: Cars decorated with artwork Additionally, there is a rooftop where you can enjoy the beauty of Taal Lake. The operating hours of the Museo Orlina are Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the exception of Mondays, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Entrance fee is Php 100.00 enjoy..

The museum exhibits glass sculptures of Mr. Orlina. Incredible art work. It's a 4 storey museum and some artworks are for sale. If you are into art, then it's a recommended place to visit when in Tagaytay.

Although the collection is limited and the space is almost too tight for a museum, it's still one of the better alternatives to other attractions in Tagaytay for Php130. Better go here during non-peak hours because parking can be scarce since it's just off the street.

I wasn’t really aware that there’s a glass museum in Tagaytay! A close friend said that she wanted to go here and so we did! The place is bright and airy. The art pieces are remarkable. I really enjoyed seeing the glass artworks. They also have some paintings and wall murals. Definitely a must visit for art enthusiasts specially those looking for things to do in Tagaytay.

Filipino Art and Culture Place This is an art building that includes rooftop and outdoor display of masterpieces. It is a place where anyone could enrich, reflect and appreciate oneself about art, culture and imagination. It does not require an art major to see the inspiration of the featured artist. It even helps see others perspective and perception of things and feels connected too. It is a good learning experience for all ages.

Not as big as the Ben Cab Museum in Baguio but as impressive with the quality of the work displayed. Four floors, a roof deck and a sculpture garden containing glass sculpture cut from solid blocks of glass and other paintings and sculptures by visiting artists. We'll worth spending some time here to appreciate the impressive works of art.

If you appreciate art, perhaps this is a nice place to visit, it's a 4 story-modern building, with exclusive art work of a filipino artist Ramon Orlina. Comprised of glass work, which is quite clean and aesthetically pleasing. May take around 30minutes to check all floors and see each piece. Entrance wasn't so much alittle over 100.

Mr. Ramon Orlina's works are mesmerizing. You need to be there to understand what I mean. Also, elderly people who appreciate art won't have to worry even though there are three levels because there's an elevator!

A must visit in Tagaytay! At first glance, I thought it is just a small museum but when I entered this museum exceeded my expectations. Safety protocols include limited number of persons allowed inside, wearing of faceshield and face mask are required and there is a temperature check and health declaration to be filled up before entering. The location may be difficult for some due to the steep road and it is not along the road. Entrance fee is 130 pesos as of Nov 29, 2020 and you will see other paintings/sculptors not from Orlina only. The artworks especially the glass sculptures by Orlina were mindblowing and extraordinary..

The place is like a 5-storey house made into a museum. They have beautiful art works. You can see the Taal Lake from the roof top. Entrance fee is cheap. The place is very easy to tour and locate. Staff are accommodating.

The place is a great quick stop and very accessible. Just a few meters away from Tagaytay Market. The road to the museum is pretty steep, but they have a tricycle that picks museum goers from and to the museum. The displays are all sculptures and paintings, so kids may not be interested and might even break some of them. They also have a great selection of souvenirs that you can purchase. The rooftop also has a great view of Taal Lake. When we visited, the entrance fee is P130 per person (cheaper for students, I believe).

Really nice glass sculptures of the Filipino artist. Quite a few floors with a rooftop viewing deck of the surrounding views of the lake. Not more than 30 mins to do the entire place. Some good pieces, with lots of pieces featuring the female form. Service was my moderate. The place was under going some renovation.

This is a fantastic glass museum - one of its kind in the world I would say. The staff maynot seem very friendly at first having so many strict rules like even in December 2022 - a strict mask protocol, etc but then you realize it is just a management decision they are forced to follow. The first two floors are dedicated to works of Mr. Orlina which are fascinating to say the least. We felt his take on feminism was a little on the higher side though the museum had a note that some of Art was influenced with the birth of his second daughter. Again it's art, so everyone has a different take. The lower two floors have a rotating exhibits from other similar artists which were equally interesting but more information on the artists would be useful. Do check out their Facebook page for any possible holiday timings or closures. Finally, the road leading to the museum is super steep - if you are driving on your own, please be careful when you exit.

"Very artistic displays" This is my first time to see an art made out from Glass and it is very interesting. I commend the artist for making such masterpiece, its a unique type of art. To be honest, I am not really into art but its satisfying to see and experience being in this kind of museum. There was an entrance fee of P150 and I think its worth the price for the tour. The place is quiet, peaceful and has a good view. There was street parking available.

I visited Museo Orlina recently, and despite not being an avid art enthusiast, I found the experience surprisingly enjoyable. The collection of glass sculptures is truly captivating, each piece telling its own unique story. The fusion of art and storytelling creates a distinct charm, making it an engaging visit even for those not typically drawn to art galleries. What adds a local touch to the experience is the inclusion of works by local artists that are available for purchase. It's a wonderful opportunity to take home a piece of the vibrant local art scene and support talented artists. The museum not only showcases art but also provides a platform for the community's creative expression.

There are different artworks made by different artists - glass, metal and different media. Elevator is not working for now, so you have to take the stairs, you go up 3 levels and go down again to visit the artworks in the basement. The place has a very nice view of Taal as well, especially when you're in the rooftop. We brought kids and they appreciate the metal artworks so much and they loved playing and "performing" in the garden outside. There's a small stage where they simply sang and danced their hearts out. 😊

The sculptures are really great and the view at the penthouse is spectacular. It's a pretty chill place and it's got a lot of history in it. It's a nice to place to check out in Tagaytay. The only drawback is how steep the location is. If your brakes are going bad, refrain from going here, but all in all a solid place to visit.

I was amazed by all of the glass sculptures I saw. The gallery really showed how Orlina had developed his technique over the years; how he fully utilized the properties of glass and how it interacts with light, as well his appreciation and tributes to impressive architectural design. Only posting a few of the pictures I took to avoid spoiling the fun for other people, though pictures don't really do justice to the works. You really need to be there and see them from every angle to truly appreciate the amount of thought and meticulousness put into each sculpture. That was a truly enjoyable and educational visit for a very affordable price of P150. I wish I had come a little earlier, more than an hour is needed to really appreciate all of the works in the museum, especially since the paintings / sculptures from the other artists in the gallery were really impressive too.

This beautiful place was probably the jewel of my latest Tagaytay trip. I came here with my family and extended family, so ages ranged from 12-60, but everyone enjoyed the museum. For a fee of 130PHP, we got to enter the museum, get Museo Orlina brochures, and have someone guide us through the museum. It was a fascinating experience, and kudos to our guide, Jerry! He was enthusiastic about the museum, and art in general, that his enthusiasm was infectious. He also let us walk around after he explained each floor and some of Orlina's works to us. As well, they have a great program where they feature other Filipino artists' works. Don't miss this when you go to Tagaytay!

It's one of Tagaytay's little known gems. Beautiful glass sculptures, paintings. It has several floors filled with great art pieces. Worth the entrance fee. Plus it has a great view of the lake. Update 2021: We went there on Feb.13. We reserved our tour online and it's advisable to do that since they have strict rules on how many people go inside the museum. We reserved our 2pm slot and then paid it via PayMaya. Once we got there, they have staff to help you get a parking slot. Masks and face shields are required. Once you go in, just tell them your name and they'll process it and give you your tickets. They ask you to wear your masks at all time. You can put upyour face shield if your want to look at the museum pieces but you can't remove them. You can take photos but they will ask you not to turn on the flash. There are four floors available to roam around. It's pretty big so you can probably spend more than an hour going through it. Or not. The place isn't crowded at all. Which is good if you ask me. The rooftop or roof deck was off limits when got there. Ask them first if it's available when you do the tour. Still one of the best places to go to Tagaytay for culture and sights.
