When you step into the Manila Chinese Cemetery, it's like you've entered a portal. There are some distinct mausoleums that call attention through style or detail. I'm sure some architectural enthusiasts would pick out some interesting points. There are some mausoleums that are curiously head-scratching with three tombs. This is where the tomb of the husband is in the middle of two wives. 🤷‍♀️ Fascinating though. This cemetery is a reflection of one's social and financial status. You'll see the stark difference when you walk near the wall tombs and compare this with the mausoleums that have toilets and a kitchen. If you're curious, do come and visit!

Unique experience when you rent a bicycle to tour the actual streets and avenues of the deceased. Chinese had to have their own cemetery because Catholics wouldn’t allow them in theirs.

(Translated by Google) Great place, breathtaking. Many residents of Manila live on the street, and here the palaces of the deceased are built. These are two and three story marble tombs. The entrance is to the left and slightly above the hospital. Do not fall for tricycles. You can walk. We went around the entire territory of all cemeteries in a clockwise direction and we know this))) We went in the wrong direction. You need Felix Haerta Road, the entrance to it.

Interesting place to come and see. The mosoleums are larger than some people's apartments. We only stayed for half an hour looking around, but you can hire tour guides. Some people lived in them too.

I advise you to visit, it's great! So grand palaces in contrast to the slums of Manila. You need R.Papa Station of LRT1. The entrance to the left of the station if you face the road

Very interesting place. Thousands of people are live there (actually in more comfy conditions than in slum). Here (and in another parts of cemetery) you can find real shops, garages, playgrounds etc. Just be careful that different parts of cemetery (Manila North Cemetery, Chinese Cemetery, Catholic Cemetery) are divided by walls, so you should go out and get round by street to get to another part of cemetery.

Historically important place in the history of the Philippines. Created when the Philippines was a part of Spain as Chinese were not allowed to be buried in Intramuros. Lots of historical figures buried here and grave archetectures are fantastic.

A unique cemetery not found elsewhere in the Philippines and most probably not even in China. Has become a tourist attraction.

Not exactly the nicest cemetery in the metro but it is well maintained.

Fascinating cemetery but it would be good to have a local guide/more signage to explain the history behind it. Watch out for wild dogs.

Went on a private tour visiting the three major cementaries. The Catholic, public and Chinese cementary. Eye opening how well the dead are taken care of in the after life at the Chinese cementary.

Pretty unique in the sense that there are hardly shared lots for resting places here. There are mostly mausoleums. Lots of old chinese families have their mausoleums built here and most are bigger than apartment units. Some even have two storeys and bathrooms. The cemetery also houses a lot of caretakers and their families as well because of the underground economy of maintaining the mausoleums. The atmosphere is pretty laid back here and is conducive for strolling.

(Translated by Google) I barely got there by metro, because the entrance / exit is at a distance and not at all from the station where I arrived, then I almost disappeared when in the dark I tried to get to the metro back from the cemetery already in the dark, but in addition to these impressions, the cemetery itself was very large - there are simply amazing graves , just gorgeous mansions, etc., in my opinion the way the locals call it fully conveys what you see there - the City of the Dead. Some empty graves cost fabulous money, as well as regular payments, and if they don’t pay, they “evict” ... At the entrance, the policeman sent me to the guide with the words “Go take it so that you don’t get lost”, which eventually turned out to plan for paying for the excursion - I heard that he said the cost, if I’m not mistaken, was 80 per hour, and the output turned out to be 800 per hour, I didn’t have that much money. after that I went to the airport and home, among other things, after Boracay, and in the end I paid something in between the two prices, but be careful - he tells me really well and knows everything, speaks excellent English, and without it you probably just lose time since except for the beautiful buildings around you will not know anything, but just to avoid misunderstandings, PRECISE and CLEARLY specify the price!) And, in principle, this advice applies in my opinion to everything and everyone in the Philippines) (Original)
