It's a chill place to hangout in with Tagaytay weather, minus the crowdedness and traffic. The food is good and hearty

Nice place to have coffee and little chitchat. Could be a dating place for couple. Just dont forget to bring sweater or jacket. Place is cold as Baguio during Dec to Feb.

Compared to just a few months ago when their food was Fanfastic, food this time was anything but good. Bulalo had an absolutely tasteless clear broth; crispy pata was anything but crispy. Chewy best describes it. The only palatable dish was their Crispy Tawilis, which can be easily prepared at home anyway. The Banana Bread was good as before! But overall, WHAT HAPPENED, Carmelas Garden Cafe???

Although the menu was limited because of technical reasons, the food that we ordered was all-day breakfast. It was worth the wait. We enjoyed every plate that we ordered. The food came swiftly. All in all, it was delightful.

Went here twice last Nov-Dec 2022. It's truly a hidden gem in Silang! Food is great - the sizzling bulalo is a must-try! Price is reasonable. The whole place is low-key, spacious, and relaxing. Downside was they only had one waiter and he was visibly stressed because of the rush of customers. Please hire more staff.

Perfect place in Tagaytay if you want to avoid traffic. Food is good and the ambiance is serene and relaxing. We went here just for desserts, but they do offer full meals as well. We'll definitely go back.

Let's start by saying that I love the banana bread and especially the egg pie at the original Carmela’s store in Tagaytay. We've even travelled far just to get it. So imagine my excitement when I learned that they have opened a garden cafe. I love going to Silang and Tagaytay for a good meal, Antonio's Breakfast, Balay Dako, Marcia Adam's Garden and Bag of Beans. But I have to say that Carmela's Garden Cafe was a big disappointment. The garden is a work in progress so I can imagine that it will look good in a year or 2 when the plants and trees will be fully established. The cats roaming around the dining area was a real big turn off. Let's talk about the food. We ordered the Fish and Fries and cafe lattes to begin with, the fries were soggy and limp. The coffee came out after the appetiser. Ang tagal lumabas ng coffee. The fish was very salty. We then ordered the Thai spring rolls (with prawns) and Bangus sisig. This was an epic disaster. If you love the taste of betsin, MSG, Magic Sarap then you will love the food. Wala ka ng iba malalasahan except betsin. It was terrible, naloka kami sa taste. To finish the meal we ordered the red velvet cake. This was a saviour, it was delicious and consistent with what you would get at the Carmela's store in Tagaytay. Overall I would say the prices are P40-P50 less then Balay Dako but Carmela’s Garden Café has really REALLY bad and super salty food. I would only go back for the desserts. If you want a garden resto with really good food, go to Balinsasayaw or Balay Dako, not Carmela’s. It's too out of the way to go for food that is just mediocre (at best).

A hidden gem to get some good coffee before going to Tagaytay. They offer yummy treats and pasalubong. Friendly and warm staff too.

I had late lunch here, very nice open place - they have varied nipa huts: open, with mosquito nets, and hapagkainan style (sit on bamboo flooring). The staff are accommodating and friendly. I will definitely be back to try out their other food options!

First time to visit this place and we love it because it is away from Tagaytay traffic. It is quiet and breezy with some activities that your family might enjoy. The food is good. We ordered sweet and sour pork, liempo, mango shake and bibingka! We did a bit of archery as well. Not the real thing though it was still a whole lot of fun. Of course, before going home, must buy Carmela's famous Banana Crunch! Ang sarap!

It's a hidden gem in purok but worth the travel. The place is really nice. They have spacious grounds with playground and outdoor activities that kids and adults can really enjoy. the ambience is really relaxing. Wasn't able to try their main entrees. But the coffee, banana cake and mushroom chicharon are really great. Price is really affordable and customer service is great. Will definitely come back here to try other menu and bring my kid.

Love the banana cake with walnuts. No sugar added @ P240. They also have a branch near Ayala Serin Tagaytay where they have fresh vegetables for sale. We'll plan to go someday. 🤩
