I loved the restaurant. It's a very cosy and quiet space. The food is delicious and quick to serve and they adapt the spiciness according to each person's taste. The staff and the owner are super friendly and always concerned to know how the experience is going. Without a doubt, I'll be back, not only for the friendliness but also for the food.

The service was very good with very kind people: The space was very comfortable with references to indian icons and culture. The food was perfect, from the beautiful plating and colors, to the smells and flavors. Good variaty in the menu, with lamb, pork, shrimp (my favorite) and vegetables. Some kebab menus for the children, to make this an amazing experience for the whole family. Highly recommend it, hope to visit the place again. Congratulations to owners and the workers

A great new addition to the Setúbal area restaurant scene. Deserves more attention! Friendly staff with good English in a cozy atmosphere. Vindaloo slightly disappointed as it should have been chili hot but needed additional hot sauce for the kick. We were advised that the Portuguese aren't into chili (yet)! Our server also advised that they are aware of increasing vegan customers and are developing the menu accordingly. My bringal dish was flavourful. We will definitely return.

Beautiful, relaxing restaurant with a delicious menu. Everything was freshly made with high quality ingredients. The chicken tikka masala was extremely tender and obviously made from scratch. Also, the onion bhaji was made to order and was perfect with a light texture and full of flavor. Unlike many casual Indian cafés, Papa Indian will leave you feeling as if you experienced something very special. The owners and staff take pride in delivering the best Indian food in the region. A must try.

Takeout: Lamb Byriani, Chicken Korma, Paneer naan and one Butter Naan. Greeted by the owners who were very kind and pleasant. They explained how they came to opening this restaurant and what was happening in the open kitchen. The Byriani was fresh and tasty and by far the best this side of Lisbon. For someone who doesn't like korma, it was absolutely packed with flavour and incredibly delicious. The butter naan was fresh and delicious. As for the Paneer, in the words of someone who tasted mine, oh my god that is amazing. Overall verdict. This restaurant has won two customers who will recommend this Indian restaurant wholeheartedly. Well done and keep to your beliefs in cooking great authentic food. Look forward to dining in next time.

The food is very good, but the tables are too small, the waitress who served us, needs to do training in the area. She threw food at me from the table, doesn't speak Portuguese or English, is rude and almost hostile to customers. The house has a lot of potential because the kitchen is great, clean and visible and the food is really good.

I read the other reviews and took a party of six for lunch expecting great food. Very disappointed. Empty room but still took ages to serve the food. Food very very poor quality. Not at all what I was expecting. If customers truly believe this is decent food they just have to try genuine Indian food. Not returning.

The best Indian restaurant you will ever find in Pinhal Novo. The people working there are extremely nice and professional. The food is to die for, and the prices are extremely accessible, even for a family of 6!! And let's not forget the cozy atmosphere, it felt like you were being hugged from the aesthetic and the music around you, it really puts you in the mood to order basically everything on the menu. I wish I could give this place a six star, because it deserves all the praise in the world. Definitely will come back to this place more often!! ❤️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We were party of three. Had 3 kinds of chicken and 2 kinds of rice plus the garlic butter naan. Food portions were plentiful and delicious. The serving Punjabi lady was super nice and helpful. Kudos to the Chef, well done. I would come again and highly recommend it.

Absolutely loved the food here! Seriously, the best Indian food I've had in a long time! 10/10 highly recommend! As an added bonus the staff was extremely nice ajd they have buzzers at each table to ring for service! Loved this experience and I'm sure you will too!

The waitress was a bit predatory and was heavily pushing to order rice in addition to the naan along with the main course, which would be way too much food for one person. We requested that we did not want rice and they forced it to us and said we can bring it home if it was too much. It felt like such a scam and I did not like how my wishes were dismissed so much. Of course, I would not return after this.

45 minutes of pure joy! Very friendly staff, food was amazing, portions were really, really big. i was sad i simply could not eat more. Highly recommended if you enjoy indian food!
