The hotel is absolutely beautiful. You feel the heritage everywhere. Everything is spacious. And that includes the rooms. Food is also great, the sushi for example is one of the best in town. The service is largely very attentive (smaller things happened, e.g. during peak breakfast times people have to queue and wait until they can get a table, while people inside have to wait until they get served - a bit understaffed it seemed to me when it was fully busy). So why only 2 stars for one of the best hotels in Lisbon (and I tried many)? It's the value for money that's getting out of hand. Btw - something I started noticing especially with Four Seasons (same thing happening in Athens with Astir Palace, where luckily competition is starting with One&Only next door). Paying way above the 1.000 EUR per night feels already 50% too high for the hotel. And paying 8 EUR for a small 0,2l Coca Cola + 10 EUR deliver fee for room service means that Coca Cola essentially costs up to 90 EUR per liter. At the moment it's still pretty booked. So it seems they can charge it. It felt like a lot of Americans stay here who appreciate the luxury of a European visit in a luxurious hotel at the price of a Maldives resort. But it will be interesting to see if this can be sustained. I guess, going with an even larger top floor suite at the Intercontinental right next door for half the price is the better value for money.

Didn't stay here, went in to have dinner at Cura. Had the opportunity to meander through reception and found it beautiful. A true testament to the art of the Portuguese 50s!

Every Four Seasons we've visited is unique and special in their own way. Lisbon maintains the incredible staff service, and delightful facilities. Every part of the experience is curated, from arrival to the concierge to the folks in each venue. Loved the outdoor pool, and the lobby flowers are always incredible. Room upgrade to a larger suite was a really nice touch. The property is immaculately maintained. The lobby bar is very civilized. Again, the staff is just SO attentive.

Went to the hotel for the brunch. It was simply amazing. There are multiple stations with different types of food. Chefs preparing the dishes on the spot. The brunch does not include any alcoholic drinks, only coffee and drinks. I have to say a glass of champagne would be nice to be included

WAY TO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU GET... rooms are very antique (in a bad way), they even smell old, the building itself is old and NOTHING special... it doesn’t look/feel like a four seasons... it really is like a 3 star hotel even dough it costs like a 5 star hotel. DO NOT STAY THERE ITS AN ABUSE OF COSTS. Service is great, people are kind etc but WAY TO EXPENSIVE FOR THE ROOMS/BUILDING

A mindblowing experience from A to Z. The renovated premier rooms with park view are exquisite and I have never seen a hotel with that perfect level of cleanliness. The staff was very friendly as well. We absolutely loved our stay and we would definitely go back there. A home away from home. Thank you so much to all the teams.

Absolutely perfect visit. The staff is exceptionally helpful and gracious. The rooms are spacious. The bedding is luxurious. The bathroom is large. The food is delicious and the presentation, picture perfect. Every aspect of the stay was exceptional. The Four Seasons Lisbon is the best Four Seasons I have ever had the pleasure of staying in and one of the finest hotels in the world. I highly recommend this hotel!

We had stayed more than 20 years ago and I was grateful to have the chance to return. I love this Ritz. The art deco design is outstanding. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. The attention to detail was superb. Every element from the bed to the linens and the in-room bar was so well done. The outdoor track and gym won’t ever disappoint. The only small miss was the formal dining. We enjoyed breakfast at the bar in the mornings. It felt a little rushed since the hotel was so busy. The concierge was wonderful and provided excellent recommendations. Hope to return again one day.

In a holiday where we stayed at three five star hotels and ate at two Two star Michelin restaurants, The Four Seasons Ritz soared above all the others with the level of service we received. My wife caught a small cold during the trip. When we asked for more facial tissues at the front desk, they sent up a full tea setting hoping it would help her feel better. This was just one point of a thousand points of amazing service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Make sure to stay in one of the more recently renovated rooms. Lovely views of Lisbon with large balconies. Service is very good. Bathrooms are large and supplied with good toiletries. It is located more in a business district so it is a walk into town/ main sights. Good business hotel. The pools looked nice and quiet, but didn’t get a chance to use them.

Excelent hotel, what i love about it is that it does not try to modernize in a bad way. By that i mean it has everything one would think of on the matter of luxury BUT without destroying the cultural and historical identity as well as relevance it has being a portuguese styled hotel since it’s conception. The interior halls, rooms, bars and outside areas are very luxurious and personally i think they nailed the design choices of their furniture, really the only thing that’s missing and again that’s my own personal taste is a bit of classical music in the outside areas especially at night whenever one feels like having a bit of relaxing time with other people, just a bit of ambience music. Everything else is just perfect from the staffs way of talking to someone and serving its costumers to the lighting, the floor material choices and even the toilet rooms, everything is very good. The only reason i gave 4 stars to the rooms is simply because i feel they purposely downgraded a but of the cultural identity so it’s worth more asking for the higher suites. Completely understandable but i believe they could still make it slightly more luxurious with a bit more of small details. To conclude, In my opinion if you are looking for a luxurious stay in the Portuguese capital of Portugal Lisbon, then the Ritz is definitely your safe choice to go.

My wife and I and our friends just finished a long weekend at the Ritz Four Seasons. While our room was of course beautiful, with a great porch and view, what distinguishes this hotel is its amazing staff!! Everyone went above and beyond in helping us, especially (but not only) Mary, Ester and Jessica at the front desk who accommodated all of our requests with smiles and grace. And their suggestions and guidance were always spot on. It made our trip that much more special. We look forward to our return!

As with all Four Seasons the level of service was great. This hotel by far has a lot of open space. There are no TVs… we had a heard time watching Football (US football).

How is it possible that a hotel like the Four Seasons Ritz does not have wash clothes available? We shared a wash cloth (1 wash cloth—2 people) all week and now they say they do not have any. How is that possible? Very disappointing.

So disappointing. It's quite dated and stuffy. We couldn't even get drinks in the bar without waving down multiple people and everything took an inordinately long time (pack your patience). There are plenty of top rate 5 star hotels nearby that are FAR nicer and in better neighborhoods. This was our first time in Lisbon...lesson learned.

Wow. Where do I even start with this hotel? We started in the basic room that was just spacious enough for us. The balcony was a great added touch. The venue location is very central, but you’ll need to Uber around (don’t worry it’s very affordable). Hotel concierge was extremely helpful and gave great recommendations where to explore. A bit older and full of history, but very recently renovated with a classic modern feel. Hotel can be a bit pricy, but if you can afford it, it’s worth staying in.

Ahh, the Four Seasons. Always a treat. The terrace has magnificent views and the service is attentive and relaxed. Quiet music plays in the background making for a great place to enjoy the sunset.

Had the most fantastic time in Lisbon at this iconic Four Seasons property. Special mention for the amazing breakfast, the ultra comfy bed, rooftop gym views and indoor/outdoor pools. We felt so relaxed when leaving the hotel - Already looking forward to the next visit!

Delightful afternoon tea inside their lounge. The spread was plentiful, beautiful and delicious. There are few moments in life more enjoyable then afternoon tea with a friend. 25€ per person is worth it!

Besides a terrible stay in terms of service, more than 3 weeks after I am still trying to make the hotel unblock the money that they blocked in my credit card! I am keep calling and asking and they are promising emails to prove that they had unblocked the funds but my bank confirms that they didn’t! I strongly don’t recommend this hotel. Even in Ibis you can have better service!!

What a beautifully updated, yet historical, hotel in the heart of a walker friendly area of Lisbon, Portugal! I visited Lisbon in the Fall for a business trip that was hosting meetings at the hotel. The accommodations were superb, and idealistic to European culture. The rooms are spacious and much larger than a standard room size. There is a coffee machine in the room as well. Be sure to pack adapters for outlets if you are traveling from the US. Turndown service is done nightly. The amenities of the hotel were also above my expectations. I did not get to see the spa; however, the fitness center was spacious, stocked with various equipment and there was also an outdoor track and fitness area from the roof. Not to mention the view from the roof is spectacular. The meeting areas and large conference rooms were just as lovely. This is a gorgeous site for any event. The staff were accommodating, friendly and helpful especially for travelers. The hotel is located in an area that is walker friendly with a main shopping area located just about a 12-15 minute walk, and several restaurants in any direction. This is a higher traffic area, so it can be noisier in the evenings, but nothing too substantial especially if your room is on a higher floor. If my travels ever bring me back to Lisbon, I would definitely consider another stay here! For the price you pay, you are treated above expectations.

Woah! So excited to come back! Booked this resort for a fantastic rate at ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ I like this hotel and I'm extremely grateful I stayed here cheaper than what I typically spend. Ritz is one of the finest hotels that exist. Lives up to it's name and luxury is visible everywhere. The staff is on top of their game and really show what a five stars hotel is about. Truly recommend

Very friendly and welcoming staff. I arrived to the hotel without luggage (lost during transit), but the hotel had offered to me additional amenities without demanding. The room price was affordable.

Way too expensive for what it is and compared to other four seasons hotels... very old style hotel, with 3 star like hotel bathrooms... not recommended at all... their tarrif should be no more than 250/300 euros a night.

Only place to have a delicious meal with an old friend in the middle of the night - we caught up on gossip while being very well waited on, drinks and food were perfect (guacamole, deep-fried prawns and the fantastic Portuguese steak sandwich) Most places including the bar at the InterCon did not have food or shut at midnight. Ritz Bar shuts only at 1 AM and wait staff were attentive and welcoming when we arrived at midnight. Perfect start to a perfect holiday in Lisbon - amazing experience all in all.

Enjoyed afternoon tea with elegant setting and excellent service. The salmon and chocolate cookie were delicious. The stars of meal were the pastries. The flavors really stand out from what you expect from afternoon tea. From the multitude of tropical flavors and textures in the panna cotta to cassis in the fruit tart. Loved it. The Portuguese tea was a great palate reset.

I’ll give this five stars because the service, overall, was worthy of a Four Seasons. There were lapses, at times, but explainable. While minor, what saved this review was the bed we slept on. It was, and I quote from my wife, “the most restful experience I’ve ever had.” Their attention to detail is exquisite, and we look forward to returning.

You can never go wrong with Four Seasons. From the amazing professionalism of the staff and the amenities that they have available it would be a mistake to not visit. Attended a wedding at the Ritz. Staff were very attentive, the ballroom was beautiful with a lovely terrace overlooking the jacarandas in bloom. The DJ was great, ambiance at the reception was exceptional and the food was absolutely amazing. 10/10

stayed on the 10th floor with a great view but an unrenovated room. even tho the room was a little tired it was very comfortable with a huge bathroom, good sized desk for working and generous private balcony. the highlight of the four seasons tho is the service. the room servicing included the team leaving a bookmark for a book I'd purchased and left on the desk, and a glasses cleaning rag when I'd left my reading glasses in the room. my swimming costumes were hung to dry on the heated rail, and the spa/pool was great. too many resorts just have an outside pool for splashing about in, here at the four seasons there's a great indoor pool for laps, and a steam and sauna room (gender separated). the only downside is the location at the top of the hill behind the city but it's only 40 minutes walk (or 7 euro uber).

This is one of the best places in Lisbon. I realize that due to the cost it is not for everyone, but I think it is fantastic. The tapestries are amazing, the staff is great and the people are very professional. Rooms and restaurants are all top!

I love the Ritz for it’s stylish historical decor and it’s grandeur. I just hang out at the Ritz’ bar any time of the day. Perfect drinks and amazing classic food menu. The staff is also always adorable. It’s my favorite escape! I always visit the shops in the hotel, they have fabulous jewels and antiques, as well as delightful candles and stationary.

The most incredible experience I had in Lisbon. The hotel is just breath taking, a beautiful building with very practical modern and luxurious decorated rooms. Our bedroom had a balcony with beautiful views. The staff were all so friendly, we had lunch by the pool and the food was served with care and attention. The breakfast had so many options, all freshly made, not to mention the breakfast room which was a unique experience.
