I don’t usually review places on Maps, but Villa Craft really deserves 5 stars. It’s so hard to find genuine place like this in touristic places like Sintra, so I really recommend it to anyone who want a really good beer and something to eat. It’s also quite cheap. Only keep in mind they don’t take cards, only cash.

They have a great selection of craft beers. The bruchettas are also very tasty: we had the blood sausage and flour sausage one (very nice and smoky) and the tomato mozzarella one. Last but not least , the staff is really friendly. In total an awesome place 👍

Amazing little taproom in the historic downtown of Sintra with 11 taps of local craft beer. They also offer freshly-made bread rolls and bruschetta with various fillings that they make from scratch, which were super tasty.

NC beer couple meets Villa Craft Beer and Bread! Of course it was a grand success and great time! Great staff and just damn good beer! Don’t miss this place if you like fire cooked breads and draft beer!

The selection of craft beers is excellent but where they really shine is the breads, they are outstanding! Made fresh right in their wood fired oven, everything we had was fantastic! I highly recommended this place. Also very friendly and attentive staff.

If you come to Sintra this is a great spot to visit. They do tasting paddles / flight boards so you get to try a wide range of delicious and interesting beers. They also make their own bread snacks, we had the chorizo one and it was a perfect pairing with the beer. The team are also really friendly and can make recommendations for you, they know their stuff! Nice spot to hide away from all the tourists and chill.

My husband and I shared a tasting board of most of the beers on the menu. We also got a ham and cheese bread roll and the slow cooker pork bread roll. They were both pretty good, and affordable snacks. The service was friendly as well.

At Villa Craft you get tons of craft beer! Great selection and the staff can explain all the bottles and tap beer. If you like beer, make sure to visit this place. Staff is super friendly. They accept card and cash. Unfortunately, they close early as most places in Sintra. They have a lot of seatings indoor and also some seatings outside.

Nice selection of craft beer on tap. They have some mini pizzas (bruschetta) and bread rolls prepared in a wood fired oven. The breads were tasty especially the bacon, cheese and caramelized onion bruschetta and spicy sardine roll. Plenty of seating indoors, terrace is small. Women’s bathroom door does not have a lock on it. CASH ONLY.

We chanced upon this place serving quality craft beers and small plates of bread with toppings and loved it. Really friendly staff, great view, yummy assortment of bruschetta with a home made bread and fabulous selection of beers. We tried the salmon with capers, spicy sardine, bacon with goat cheese and chorizo. What a gem. There is a section inside with larger tables for bigger groups but it doesn't have a view. Better to sit outside perched over the street to sip your beer. I gave one star less because the bathroom was not that clean and was out of toilet paper.

Tasty beer and exceptional food. Easy to reach yet away from the tourist main-area. Charming flair in a relaxed and laid back area.

Great spot, amazing beer selection. Bit out of the way of the main street which is super nice. Freshly baked bread which is awesome. Recommend the spicy sardine and goat cheese bruschetta. Can easily beat the heat of the day by tasting beers in a shady spot.

The only craft beer bar in the town & they are holding their own. The beer taps were not extensive but offered a good range. We liked the coconut stout. We ordered 3 bruschettas & they are more like crunchy mini pizzas - delicious especially the salmon with capers. We felt very much at home.

Very friendly craft beer bar / bread restaurant in central Sintra, which is an easy day (or half-day) trip on the train from Lisbon. Take an early morning train from Rossio station and spend the morning walking the streets and seeing the sites of Sintra before treating yourself to some tasty craft beers (they open at 11 AM). I got a flight of 6 beers to sample a variety and then went back for seconds for the NEIPA hazy. The sours and the stout were also very good. The bread rolls go well with the beer. I can strongly recommend the morcela (blood sausage / morcilla) and spicy sardine bread rolls. Sit outside on the small front terrace if the weather is good. Otherwise, there is additional seating inside. Good music on in the background, English spoken, free Wi-Fi, brew pub merchandise to purchase, and take-away cans and bottles of beer are also available. Only warning, payments are CASH only, so make sure you're good to go in that regard. It is definitely recommended when in Sintra.

Despite a complete lack of exertion, I decided to stop by before taking the train back to Lisbon. The beer was great ( I had #6 & #7) and interesting variations on IPAs - both were delicious. I also had a bread with cheddar & ham ( chorizo sausage ) and it was also fantastic. Warm, tasty and the bread had a good crunch. There is limited seating out front, but the back uses their kitchen area to great effect. N.b. they only take cash. In my case that required me to use the ATM which increased my cost by 4 euros because of the ATM fee.

Very laid back craft beer bar with a very eclectic selection of delicious brews. The slow roasted pork was amazing and we got a sampler tray to share.

Wandering through Sintra, and was delighted to find this fabulous house of beer. The guys there were outstanding on their willingness to talk about their beers. Great beer snacks too. Villa Craft is really what craft beer is all about. Great work guys, and really loved the Basil beer!

(Translated by Google) Very nice place. A little outside the tourist area. Very good beer and the sandwich with salmon, soy and capris can be highly recommended! The beer was fantastic too. Everything at a good price besides. (Original) Mycket trevligt ställe. Lite utanför turiststråket. Mycket god öl och mackan med lax, soya och capris kan varmt rekomenderas! Ölen var också fantastisk. Allt till bra pris dessutom.

If you like some excellent and unusual beers this is a super little spot. Worth locating. Tiny bar but nice little verandah to sit on. The bread plates are like small pizzas and are delicious. The one featuring blood sausage (black pudding) and caramelised onions was an especially amazing accompaniment for the wheat beers! All good value for money.

A varied selection of 5 or 6 Portugese craft beers and the best pulled pork I've ever had. All with friendly and efficient service - just great.

Great place, totally worth it. Variety of local craft beer on tap or in fridge :) Bread sticks from wood oven were delicious especially one with sardines. Close to main tourist route, but I wouldn't say touristic. Reasonable price. Love it!

Note: cash only. Go here. Leave the main touristy Sintra square and enjoy beer and meat/cheese breads here. Six draft beers/ciders and more in bottles. Very friendly service (English speaking) and good music. Free WiFi, Speedtest came in at 220 mb/s.

In here you must eat the bruschetta, made in forno a legno, delicious, we tasted all of them, I recommend the one with goat cheese and bacon. Great place to hangout, have a good time and all kinds of different bears. Very kind owners. Not very pricey. For me a mandatory stop when in Sintra old town.

The best bread in town period!! Our favorite was Spicy Sardines. But it is spicy so beware if you don't like spices. The ham and cheese was also tooooo good! Very reasonable prices. Very nice central location. Highly recommend.

Wow! I was not expecting to taste such high quality craft beer in Portugal, but I did the tasting board here (only 12€!!!!) and I was blown away by all 6 beers. We also got the marinated olives & lupini beans (1€) and chorizo & cheese bread roll (2.50€), which were incredibly good for a very reasonable price. Patio is very calm and relaxing. Would come again next time I’m in Sintra.

Probably some of the best food and beer I have ever had. Freshly cooked bread straight from the oven is to die for. I would live here if I could.
