Authentic tasting Mexican food & drinks, everything was very tasty in a nice setting, unfortunately the service was quite slow, other than that would recommend trying out!

Good mexican foods. The tacos is small but the main beef was gorgeous. Also we liked guacamole. Good preparation!

5 stars for great Mexican flavors. Had dinner on a Sunday with no wait time. Service was good. Outdoor dining on the roof is very pleasant. I've been looking for a good guacamole in Lisbon, and this is my favorite thus far...fresh, tart, not puree, crunchy chips, and sharable portion. The pork belly was crispy and delicious and good portion size, but I would have liked a third street taco in the pineapple pork entree for the price.

Amazing Mexican food at the Gourmet experience in El Corte Ingles. 0 waiting time, attentive service and dishes coming out of the kitchen in no-time! Popcorn chicken was delicious, however the habanero sauce was too much for my liking. The steak taco was to die for! The waffle pineapple desert was equally delicious too! English speaking, well manner staff. Well-done! Prices are a little bit higher than usual for the portion size but the taste makes it all worth it!!

Located in a mall. Honestly really great tacos, which are hard to find in Lisbon. Great guac 👍 Tried all their tacos, and all of them were really good. Could be jucier, but I was satisfied! 😀 They have a nice terrace with a view of the city.

One of the better options on Level 7 of El Corte Ingles (have tried a few other restaurants there, so speak from experience). Was easy enough to get a table on a Saturday evening without booking ahead, and the server approached immediately when she saw me standing undecided at the entrance - so that sealed the deal to dine at Barra Cascabel. Went with the server's recommendation on the cocktail - however, it's interesting how they always steer you to the most expensive options on the menu! "Mezcalna" was very good, but certainly not worth the price for the small size drink. The ham and cheese quesadilla was a great choice - with little bursts of spice surprising my taste buds every so often. The popcorn chicken was melt-in-the-mouth, but could have been so much more with much less salt! Overall, a decent casual Mexican offering in the "Gourmet Experience" level of El Corte Ingles Lisboa. But wouldn't go out of my way to eat there, unless already in the building.

Forget everything you have read in Lisbon guides about Mexican restaurants. This is the one to check! Try the shrimp and the beef tacos after the delicious guacamole as a starter. A must in Lisbon if you are in to true / traditional and savory Mexican food.

We ordered two starters to share between 4 (quesadillas and some crispy chicken) and it was alright. Then, the tacos were disappointing. I specifically ordered tacos al pastor and the pork tasted like nothing, the pineapple was missing and the only flavor was onions. I told the waitress afterwards but it didn’t really seemed like she cared. Wouldn’t recommend the place if you are looking for good and authentic mexican food, especially for the price.

The restaurant is an eye catcher, but i was disappointed by the food. It was a small plate with just two tacos and just tasted like lemon. the avocado sauce was also not the best.

Lively venue, especially on Friday evenings and over the weekend. Good food, even though the menu could use a refresh.

Very good guacamole with chips. The tacos are smaller but the right amount of food for me and they are very good, perfect tasty spice.

The 3 stars is for the food and the service would be 3.5.. Wont go back there for what i had. I think the food was like eating taco with a lime already in your mouth.. Too much acid going on!

We ordered 1 entre and 3 tacos. The tacos were very savory especially the pork belly ones. The sitting area is very nice and the service was relatively fast.

It is indeed a shame that Mexicana food has been spreading around the world and moreover is considered by the UNESCO as an intangible asset of humanity and restaurants are distroying our culture and roots. This food is good but nothing to deal with our dishes. People needs to know they are not eating traditional Mexican food but fake dishes.
