The place seems to be overpriced. I heard a lot about it from different people. They all mentioned that the food would be great and it would be also authentic at the same time. And the view would be beautiful. I can’t comment on the later part because that’s true. The view is definitely mesmerizing. As for food I would give 0*because the food is neither authentic nor any taste is there. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they are here for the view and not for the food.

Best Italian food I ever expected to have and that too in Jaisalmer. When you start climbing the stairs you are up for a surprise. Great ambience and the seating is very thoughtfully done and pretty much can accommodate all needs. The thin crust pizza’s are a must try and pasta was just lip snacking. The icing on the cake is the location and you have a great view of Jaisalmer Fort. Had a memorable day experience.

The view is great but the food and service is completely dismal. Firstly, we weren't offered water even once during our entire meal here. And the pizza that we ordered didn't even taste good and felt undercooked, the cheese wasn't even melted properly. Overall, the experience was not so great. And the prices are expensive for the food and service they offer. They only charge for the view here.

Italian food is horrible. Ordered caprese salad and two pizzas and they were disgusting. Dough looks like a tortilla, cheese tastes fake with no flavor. Maybe Indian food is better, we didn't try it, but please don't order Italian food.

Approaching the front gate of Jaisalmer Fort, a large ‘Italian’ restaurant sits just atop the castle walls, with half alfresco dining and also a very comfortable space on the inside. I can’t speak necessarily for the Italian food, but the Aloo Parathas & Chai were so good that we visited on more than one occasion. It also has to be mentioned that view of the fort is fantastic from the outdoor dining area, so even dropping in for a drink is a great idea for those looking to get Instagram worthy pictures and lap up the sunshine at the same time.

Really lovely family run resturant. The staff that served us where so friendly and when we finished dinner Rishi showed us around inside and explained to us how their father had opened the resturant after travelling to Italy and really missing indian food. So he wanted to bring some of Italy to Jaislemer so that the Europeans have some Italian food options in the Town to. They have a lovely view across the Fort from the rooftop and we stopped for a cool beer and glass of wine after our trek around the Fort. Defiantly a nice stop for lunch or some drinks to break up your day. We didnt actually try any pizza or Italian food as we had eaten a large breakfast so we just sampled some of the amazing home made fried potatoes and if they were anything to go by am sure the Italian food will be just as good. Beautiful interior but we enjoyed sitting outside with the Fort view which was perfect . Would be nice to for few evening drinks and some dinner. Defiantly one to try for tourists visiting Jaislemer we really enjoyed our experience, service was really good thank you and special thanks to Rishi who was so friendly and helpful.

I ordered their most selling pizza and cheese garlic bread, although garlic bread was good but very, very crispy, the pizza was tasteless. It needed more flavors and sauce. I would recommend you go elsewhere.

Very expensive......nd food is not good

We had breakfast and lunch here on two separate days. The location is perfect, there is a chill out sofa area. The people are very friendly, and the food is good (also if you would like a little break from Indian food). Recommend coming definitely.

The restaurant had a great ambience. We took the floor sitting option which was very comfortable. The food taste was very good and portion was also good. Special mention about Naan, I haven't had this good naan at a restaurant as far as I can remember. They can though improve on reducing the time to bring the ordered item to table. Other than this, everything was good.

One if the hidden gem of Jaisalmer as cafe, if you are visiting main fort must visit this cafe. Very tasty Italian food with very friendly staff. Must visit

I really recommend this place if you’re looking for some Italian style food while in India. I have tried countless pastas during my travels in India and this is the only one that actually tasted like an Italian dish! The pasta wasn’t too soft, the cheese was nice and most importantly, the tomato sauce tasted like tomatoes rather than a weird sweet, spicy, vinegary sauce Ive had too often. I had the vegetarian puttanesca. I had their pizza too and that was also good compared to others Ive tasted.

Very friendly staff, owner himself is around and courteous. Food is good, ambience is subtle n sober.... excellent view of the fort with dim lights. Must visit.

This Indi Italian restaurant is situated right on the first entry gate of jaisalmer fort . Literally. Exquisite decor makes this place lovable. Service is fair. Quality of food seems to be excellent . We ordered minestrone soup and pizza fungi. Both was good. Especially the pizza which had thin crust with proper crunch in crust. Toppings were enough and fresh. Recommended place.

Jaisal Italy is a restaurant at the entry gate of Jaisalmer fort. This serves Italian as well as Indian food. We went there twice as we liked the ambience of looking at the beauty of the golden fort and the food is also good. We had Pasta and Pizza both the time. They were mild in taste quite suiting to the needs of tourists otherwise the food in Rajasthan is spicy. The quality of the food is good. They have both inside and outside seating on chair table as well as they put mattress on the floor with pillows. The service is quite fast. The crowd at the place is mix of Indians and foreigners. Overall a good place in Jaisalmer to eat Italian foods and enjoy the outside view of the fort.

The service in this place was the worst I have ever experienced. Having worked in hospitality for years, I cannot believe how rude the staff were. After being seated and given menus, it transpired that, after attempting to order multiple things off the menu (which were all “not possible”), the chefs had not arrived yet and we could only get one thing on the menu (sandwiches). I don’t know why he seated us in the first place. He laughed at us when we were confused about this and did not apologise. Then our waiter could not understand what our order was (2 cheese and tomato sandwiches as per menu which we pointed to) and had to put me on the phone to the owner to explain the order. He then disappeared for half an hour and came back with the sandwiches, which were meant to come with chips. They did not have chips with them. He said this was “not possible” again and laughed in our faces multiple times. They discounted our meal in the end but it was still extremely overpriced. While the view is lovely of the fort, it is not worth it for extremely rude service and hostile atmosphere. Also the food is not good. Much better places to go in Jaisalmer. I have never written a bad review before but felt obliged to share how bad this place was.

Tried the pizza and a lasagna. The servings are not huge, but the food is good. The lasagna in particular was fantastic. Place had wifi, a place to charge my electronics, fans to keep the heat at bay and staff that was more than happy to help me with my onwards travel. Strongly recommend if you are a foreigner who wants a break from Indian food.

The best thing about the restaurant is the breathtaking view. The food is average but it doesn’t count heavy over the view and great hospitality and ambience the restaurant provides. Great Italian options as well!

The atmosphere and views from the place is amazing. However this place claims to sell authentic Italian food but doesn't. We had the pizza and cannelloni. The cannelloni was still good however pizza had capsicum and onion chopped raw over sauce and just garnished over and put. It felt more akin to a chilli cheese sandwich on a pizza base.
