Worst experience ever. The only positive thing was the location and outer ambience of the property. It's located very near to Kaali river and has many trees inside the property. Rooms are not maintained, had lizards and cobwebs inside. And talking about the food, it was too pathetic. Can't imagine how someone who is professional can cook in such a way. Very bad taste, no hygiene. No indoor, outdoor activities by resort (except river swimming, kayaking) Now here comes the very important part. The way with which water activities are managed is very unsafe and pathetic. No preference or personal care for people who are staying in this resort. People from nearby resorts come to this point and there is huge rush to get the kayaking boats. No one cares if someone falls into the water, or someone get any injury. No one will check if you wore the life jacket correctly. Overall, don't visit to this place and waste you hard earned money.

Location of this resort is the best, banks to River Kali and backside of Supa Dam. Ambience is soothing. One will find themselves lost with the beautiful Kali river bank view and gushing sound makes the evening blissful. Resort maintenance is horrible. Rooms are not that much good, Food & snacks is pathetic. Need lot of improvement on buffet and kitchen department. One star for food. No one even bothers when you enter to resort.. u have to manage parking your car and other stuff. Room service is horrible. River activities like Zakuji, Boating & Kayaking filled with Bogus. Lot of people crowded here with no common sense they throw single use plastic and eatables cover to Kali river. sad part.

Rooms are the worst and unclean.The food is worthless actually the whole resort is except for the activities. They took Rs.10,000 per night. I thought according to the rates the rooms would be nice,but they are not worth even a penny. ONLY COME HERE FOR ACTIVITIES DO NOT STAY HERE PLEASE IT'S FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!

Totally waste of money. They charged Rs.2900/- person. We for whole family, paid Rs.35K. Travel Agent won’t answer your calls once you pay the amount, resort people ’ll also forget us once we paid the amount. 1. ROOMS: Old rooms. Mattress and pillows are age old. You’ll be scared for sure to sleep on those. Stinky bathrooms. Hot water only in the morning 8am. You’ll not get hot water to take bath after water activates in the evening. ACs doesn’t work. 2. ACTIVITIES: Outsiders also come to play water activities. Huge crowd will be there. for us they’ll just issue paper coupons and let us play the activities with the crowd. You will NOT GET chance to play activities. Stinky jackets. They just thrown on mud. 3. SERVICE: ZERO service. They’ll just listen to you. They don’t say a word nor give service. 4. FOOD: Food quality is average. They don’t evenly provide plain milk for infants. WORST HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE.

My experience was very bad. The rooms in which I was staying or any other room it was smelling very dirty. There were leakage and cracks. The food was disgusting and it was not cooked properly and it was all cold. But the experience of the water activities were nice. Note it that only the MD Managing Director's room was nice and clean. The swimming pool was also not in working condition The owner of the resort had not renovated the resort for a long time

It is a resort that has activities for outsiders along with inmates. I visited there for water activities through some other resort. It's a good place for recreation. Parking lot is available. Good place for outing. Problem is they have not managed it well.

Very untidy place, lot of chaos. Adventure sports are good, so I'm rating 3, if nit it would be 0. You can try zip ride & boating it's good. The boat guide was very supportivr Toilets are are the worst, very very bad. Don't even think of using it.

My second time here, The resort is one of the best in the area, the location is worth it and so is the service and activities. The manager Mr.Sehgal is very helpful and so is the other staff. The rooms need an urgent upgrade, apart from that the resort is amazing. The wilderness of the resort and the surroundings is lush and beautiful.

Activities at Dandeli through Bison resort is super. Ideal location, mix of everything, approach to river, beautiful park. Pass time climbing trees, walking through ropes, river rafting...all and all, everything with proper gears and safety measures

This is the place where water activities start in kali river. You have an option to enjoy water based activities without opting for stay. It is wise decision to choose the option highlighted because rooms are not very neat and tidy. It's better to book a package (includes food,stay and activities)in the city and then proceed to your stay and activities. It's advisable not to get the river rafting booked in advance since there are high chances that rafting won't happen in certain days. You can enjoy the water activities to the core but then you've to prepared for a long wait especially if it's during weekends or public holidays. It is always recommended to travel in own vehicle as the staying and activities are at different places. You can also plan to visit Goa from dandeli if time permits.

The most horrible resort I hve ever seen. The rooms are so filthy and smelly, water leakage in the room everywhere, our new mobile got damaged due to water leakage. The washrooms are even worst, commode was leaking, there were no locks in the room. Overall the property is ill maintained. Food was stale and disgusting, they serve it by themselves and control on the portion, spoons, plates were not available in adequate quantity. Staff was misbehaving with customers. Even after our complaints for all these the manager was reluctant to provide any service. Would never suggest this property to anyone. There are other better properties in nearby location.

The activities are fun and adventurous at the same time. The people organizing these activities are really nice and helpful. People going for river rafting should check with the resort,prior to your visit, if available or not (sometimes stopped due to low water levels).Kayaking, boating,river swimming, zip lining shouldn't be missed! The changing rooms for ladies can be improved! P.S.- No worries if you donot know how to swim. Put on your life jackets and have great fun and good time while you are here!

Place and activities are good but i strongly recommend to do bookings online so that u dont have to interact with the management when it comes to room bookings or the money part. Their language and approach is very shrewd towards the customers. Their behavior will add a bitter experience to ur much needed vacation.

Shady place with beautiful location. Bathrooms are not clean and the management is not bothered about it. Probably they are getting enough revenue from water sports. Don't waste your money and time on this.

Went for water sports to this resort some time back. They dont guide properly about sports they have after payment. Safety is not good since the Kali river is one of the most dangareous rivers. Most importantly observed that resort staff were involved in improper behaviour with ladies tourist during water sports. Not recommended.

Didn't stay but visited rooms not clean at all but for water sports it's an ideal spot, bison just upgrade the rooms u have ample space and a beautiful location

No star....visited on 27 dec 2023...not worth for any ratings...infact it deserves infinity negative rating.very dirty unhygienic rooms... termite eaten bathroom.. unclean toilets..taps are shaking... very unpleasant smell..all doors areand wardrobe are broken.... very very dirty resort.. please don't visit here...loss of money..staff also very arrogant.. food is not at all good...in and all very negative vibes there.. please don't visit this place.... waste... simply waste

Had lots of expectations from this resort but left all my excitement to dissatisfaction. Will talk straight to the point Food-Unhygienic, pathetic taste,it appears like no one knows to cook . Ambience -average.property not well maintained, rooms ok ok, Except trees and besides Kali river no other things for the owner to boast about. Looks like the attitude of the management is jitna Paisa ho sake utna banayenge. Repeat customer nahi chahiye.boating activities se Paisa kamayenge baaki sab bhaad me jaaye

Best stay with good south Indian food.... Common restrooms needs some maintenance with timely inspection.... Apart from that best one for family & friends trip....

The place is really awesome. Its worth spending time here. People are good. I visited it on weekdays and service was good. They even dropped us to nearby bus stand (Gandeshgudi) which was really nice thing.

This place is famous for doing water sports. Kaya king, boating, river rafting, such games are available here. Nice place to enjoy. We spent 3-4 hours over there.

Those guys who are working there , they are not treating the people in good manner, even we are having event pass , they are providing less limited time to enjoy it , ex : boating . We came frm long long distance but they are pushing us to come out frm water activity with in 10 min only .

Rooms are clean and ok for the money. They could add a coat of paint to the rooms, will add some life to it. It was a mistake booking my holiday at this property. Didn't do enough research. All activities except zorbing are for adults only. Was weird to see middle aged adults rolling in the zorb, while kids were desperately waiting for their turn. *Kids will be super bored here*. Do not visit with young kids Weekend was like a fair, with a continuous stream of crowd. If you are looking for a quite jungle holiday then this may not be the place. Or maybe excess crowd was because of holiday weekend. Food: was alright. Although the staff were busy with room service. Dinner is supposed to be served at 8:30pm as per checkin desk. But had to go n shout at staff to get them serve dinner. Looks like room service takes priority Alcohol: Notice at checkin desk says alcohol not allowed in the premises. Either that notice is for formality or rules have changed. See attached pics. Overall, I think the place maybe ok for adult only group who will be interested in rafting. But otherwise I wouldn't advise for family holiday with kids

very worst hotel, before booking we get to see images of lot of activities and they say all activities are there for you, but this hotel is absolutely bogus. Nothing much is there. Food quality a bit ok, but poor service and no proper maintenance of infrastructure...... never visit

Been here only for water activities, hence rating overall as 3 star. When i stay in this resort, would give the actual rating. Location is nice. Did Zorbing, Kayaking, boating as part of resort package. Water activities is 5 star. Zip lining is available along with other activities. It was fun.

One of the best places in Dandeli for planning your vacation. River rafting starts from this resort so it is a perfect spot. The majority of water activities can be done here easily. Weekend are usually crowded.

It's an amazing place along soh the blue Kali river just feels like heaven you see it from your balcony. One main suggestion reach there before 9 am in order to do rafting or else it will get to crowded and water level gets dropped gradually as it after noon .Service is gog . Rooms are like three star rooms but good. Good it's nice and tasty. Please carry cash as network keeps on fluctuating.

Good place for water activities and family gatherings. Good food with no alcohol makes it a good outing for families. One night sufficient to stay as Rafting, Kayaking are the key activities and rest are manageable within that.

Good for spending short time on the way. But if you wanna enjoy leisure water rides or sports then better think of the day with least crowd expectation or another place.

Actually rooms were good but they intentionally removed power at night. They had stopped water activities so there was nothing much we did just eat and sleep and they didn't even minus the water activities amount. So overall just a scam and beware of brokers they will amount unnecessarily.

Very famous for the adventure sports. Always heavily crowded from visitors who specially come here for sports. Stay here was good. Although rooms can be maintained better. Staff is polite and professional. Food is not up to the mark. For the amount they are charging there are very less options and also taste is OKish. View outside ghe rooms was great. I have experienced many other resorts in my life but this is the horrible one, the accountant guy is purely money minded he won't care about people's emotions and the service and hospitality is just like a normal basic hotel where you find in your home town, Best suggestion is do water activities any where else in Dandeli and stay in other luxury hotels.. better don't go with this resort completely worthless and waste of money , it is not a 3star resort where the say it is.. don't fall in rat trap be proactive..

Good place for water activities but the rooms are not well maintained and also you will not get too many varieties for food in breakfast, lunch and dinner and also very limited to no a la carte options. But certainly the location is great. Just bit of room maintenance and increase in food variety would make it better place for vacation.

I am not able to give less than 1 star otherwise I would have given. location of the resort is really very nice but the rooms are extremely bad. Food is also not upto the mark, they are charging too much for this experience. I would suggest the people who are going from outside shouldn't stay there ambience is way bad, there were bugs every where in the room, washroom even on bed.

Hello!! Yes! Had a wonderful experience without any good safety measures. No one ever cares about your life. There are guards for namesake. They just watch you drowning. Life jackets are not maintained, its completely torn. They dont provide any helmets while kayaking. And do visit at your own risk.

Best place in Dandeli bison river resort all water activities enjoyed lot It was very beautiful experience... I really loved the place its amazing... Staff are so polite we ever late to dinner.. They were waiting so patiently....... Totally its package of enjoyment and making memories Thanks to Bison river resort team. My small suggestion is it would be good to have karoke room...i was thinking of it evening time.. It would make more like fully satisfied..

Horrible resort. We made advance payment. Went there to find out that the rooms were maintained awfully (Not cleaned, unhygienic bathroom) and were nothing like in the pictures. When we decided to not stay because of bad conditions, they would not give refund the money. On top of that, even though the advance was for food included, they asked us to pay INR 1000 for having a piece of stale bread for breakfast while we waited for the manager to resolve the situation for us. Please do not visit this place and waste time/money.
