Ambience and the property location is soothing. One will find themselves lost with the beautiful Kali river bank view and gushing sound makes the evening blissful. The rooms are tidy and well insulated. Depending on your taste you can choose types of room. River view and the tree house are the most preferred. Staff are cheerful. Easily reachable restaurant and other amenities. Swimming pool is well maintained and zero florine content. Poolside area is perfect to relax. Pros: Ambience, facilities, food, activities (boating, kayaking, rafting, big swing, rope cycle etc) Con: Over priced. At the same price one can find alternatives which offer similar facilities

We went to this resort in Jan 1st week. Although the location is just perfect and the view from the room is amazing, the rooms had cobwebs and the walls were damp. We had to call the resort room service to get our room cleaned. The corridor floor is almost always dirty. Talking about food, Some of the dishes were tasty but I am not confident on the hygiene measures taken here. We were served aloo masala which was spoilt. We informed the hotel management to cook us fresh again. Some of the Pros; 1. Rope activities are not included in the package but are good and unique. 2. They have rafting facilities starting from the resort which made it very convenient. 3. There is good engagement for 2 days. Overall, The resort needs better maintenance and hygiene needs to be their priority at the moment.

Whistling Woodzs Jungle Resort in Dandeli turned out to be quite a disappointment. Firstly, it's way too expensive for the kind of service they provide. The lack of a TV connection was frustrating, and when we complained about it, the team didn't even bother to respond. The rooms had no chairs & no hangers inside the wardrobes, and no exhaust (because of which there was pungent smell inside the room) or hooks for clothes in the washroom. Surprisingly, there was no room service, not even for a simple request like water. The outdoor activities came at a high cost. To make matters worse, the food was far from tasty. The staff's refusal to provide milk for babies and the ridiculously long wait time (1 hr. minimum wait time) for a simple request was inexcusable. The rooms were infested with spiders and webs, making the stay rather uncomfortable. Please do not fall pray for the starry reviews given for this place; they are either written by their own staff or are paid to hype the resort. All in all, a disappointing experience for the price we paid.

Location of this resort is the best , banks to Kali River. Resort maintenance is horrible. Tree house.. don’t even try this. This is not tree house at all. Built on a cement pillar near to a big tree. Hygiene is horrible. Rooms are ok. Don’t confuse this resort to a 3 star hotel. It’s a very normal hotel. Lot of people crowded here with no common sense they through all garbage to Kali river.. sad. Food & hygiene is horrible. One star for food. Few activities are good. Like zip line, giant swing etc.. but safety I doubt. No one even bothers when you enter to resort.. u have to manage parking your car and other stuff. Room service is horrible. It’s only good location due to good forest and river. Cost is reasonable. Swimming pool is dirty .. Conclusion: not a 3 star resort. It’s a just small time resort run by amateurs … few things are good like river view , deep forest , nature. But it could have been maintained well…

Absolutely no maintenance at all. The premium cottage were not cleaned. Bed sheets, pillow covers were not replaced. I had actually booked for three nights but I could only stay there for only one night. I informed the resort manager about plan changes as soon as I was shown the Premium Cottage. There was construction going on, which could have been informed while reservation. People visit resorts for quite peaceful stay, not to hear JCB and tractors sound while you walk around the resort. Pool was closed for maintenance and wet bed sheets, towels, etc were hung around for sun drying. Buffet food is below average. Horrible maintenance inside the resort and on the river banks.

This was our absolute BEST experience in India all-around! Everything, from comfort and hospitality to adventures and activities! Words can't express how friendly, helpful and accompanying the reception staff was. We felt right at home! Also a special shout-out to Mr. Sanjay, Mr. Ravi and Ms. Felinderina for the kindness, friendship and wonderful hospitality! We would recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be returning. It's nestled perfectly in the hills next to a beautiful clean river. And the spa was so relaxing❤️

The best place I have ever been privileged enough to stay at. It's a breathtaking view the moment you enter the resort. The river view sitting arrangement is to die for. You can also enjoy food there and relax peacefully. There are unique and absolutely safe sports activities for every year group. Lush greenery and beautiful weather makes the place more extraordinary. Beautiful and cozy rooms including jacuzzi is the icing on the cake. Delicious and variety of food makes your soul happy. The staff is very cooperative which makes you very comfortable. Over all must visit place.

The resort has an ideal location next to the bank of the amazing Kali river. They provide a variety of activities, including river rafting, a giant swing, and roller coaster. Instructors are well trained. Food was tasty with many options, and sanitary standards were upheld. Staff members were kind and warm. You can relax, do adventures, go on jungle safari, or just swim in clean swimming pool, they have all of it. Overall, a must-visit for a family reunion, a getaway with pals, or even a destination wedding. we had a very pleasant time here.

We stayed here 4 days. This is very nice place and there was unexpected rush in hotel. But still they gave good service at least housekeeping was helpful and receptive. Food at restaurant is good in taste but lacks variety. Overall good experience if you are not worried about eating varieties.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic hotel with fantastic nature view [in Executive Room], and I must say that my experience was short but memorable. My Favorite activity would be Rollercoaster ride and giant swing for sure. definitely you can try it. Couldn't complete camp fire due to rain. Food is Good, Rooms are clean, Staffs and Higher authorities are really humble and sweet. Overall Its a good 1day plan to enjoy and have fun

Awesome location, awesome service (with more then 150staff) and awesome food.....The price was worth it and most of the activities are within the premises. Kids loved the food and all the activities. We will definately come back and we strongly recommend *Whistling Woods* to those who need serene atmosphere and good service.

Hotel ambience is very goods for family holiday. Kids so fun : many games available, movie room, swimming pool. Adults so relax during our stay : besides the weather is so cool, the resort concept make me so relax. Hotel food : Breakfast menu very completed, many varian kids menu. It is heaven on this earth. I have made somany trips all over India, but, this resort is serene, surrounded by nature, worth to stay. Right from reception staff, cafe staff, every staff is so nice. All games including river rafting so thrilling.

Recently stayed here for one day, the resort is located in the serene and picturesque location just by KALI River. We were not lucky enough to get the riverside rooms, as the resort was fully booked due to long weekend Christmas holidays. There are many adventure activities, of which we enjoyed River rafting, kayaking, giant swing, Zip line and Roller coaster zip line. My favourite was the roller coaster zip line. The food (lunch, dinner and breakfast) was delicious, with a variety of dishes for vegetarians. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bed was cozy. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing break from hustle and bustle of city life.

I would be happy to write a review for a hotel stay and food that offers a wide range of exciting amenities ! We recently stay at hotel that was absolutely fantastic. Not only was the staff friendly and accommodating, but the hotel offered an impressive array of activities to keep guest entertained. The real highlight of my stay was the outdoor adventure centre, which included river rafting, rope cycling, zip lining, river jump. The river rafting was a blast! We spent the day on the river, navigation through rapids and enjoying the scenic views. The rope cycling was a unique experience, with a challenging obstacle course that the really tested our balance and agility. The zip lining was another thrilling adventure, as we soared through the air high above the treetops. But the rivers jump and sky jump were definitely the most exhilarating activities of all! With the river jump, we leapt off a platform and into the water below, In addition to these amazing activities, the hotel also had a fantastic restaurant, comfortable rooms, and a beautiful location by the river. Overall, I had an incredible stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fun and exciting getaway. Whether you're an adventure seeker or just looking for a peaceful retreat, this hotel has something for everyone .

Excellent location just beside the Kali river, 5km mid rafting ends at the property and makes it easy to directly go into the rooms after completing rafting. And also there are many activities like boating, kayaking, flying fox, giant swing, air cycling and other activities which makes it good to spend time at the resort. Also they have nature walk and roller coasters ride which is under maintenance for now. Will suggest to stay here if visiting dandeli little pricy but worth the money. They have lunch, dinner and breakfast included in the stay good options but can increase more didnt find much variety. Only one chicken option

Nice place for two day’s stay. Check in 1 pm check our 11 am. Morning Tea 7 am breakfast from 8.30 till 10 am. Evening tea at 5.30 pm and again Dinner at 8.30 till 10 pm. Nice food quality, Rooms are neat n clean. Staffs are co operative. And overall all the activities are fantastic. Need of Life Guards at every points all the time are required which I see are not there so it’s not safe for small kids to freely walk around especially at the bank of river.

Amazing property. Extremely courteous service. Nestling among the lush green forest n the property being attached to the Kali river it gives a breath taking view. The white water surfing was an exhilarating experience. The adventure activities within the property is an added advantage n convenient. The operations Manager mr. Ratan was extremely helpful n very courteous n is an ever smiling persona. I definitely would recommend this property for holidaying for both corporates n families n friends. Place is really good with spacious rooms. We stayed here for weekends two nights. Drinks are costly, 1 quarter (180ml) of Smirnoff vodka costed me 1650 rupees. All activity in hotel are chargeable. Food was monotonous for all 4meals. Swimming pool is really big and clean.

This resort is at an amazing location because of the captivating Kali river and one of the finest properties in dandeli. Everything on the buffet is as good as their menu, from breakfast to dinner. Every age group can participate in the numerous activities offered on campus. Roller coaster, giant swing and river rafting are a must try. Special mention to Mr. Nayan and his team for such a seamless coordination. The rooms are spacious and tidy. From premium bungalow cottages to swimming pool view, river view, twin cottages...you get many options to choose from. The entire crew, from the owner to down, is incredibly helpful and kind. You would never know that the owners would be lining up in queue among us during buffets just to know customer response and hear honest feedback. There is eagerness and genuine interest to serve and take care of people. We had a fantastic experience here, and I highly recommend it for family or friends get-together. They also do corporate tie-up program. Do visit and relive with nature.

Fabulous resort! It offers a variety of room options for stay such as lodge, cottage, etc. Riverside restaurant is the best thing here! You can enjoy wonderful view of the swift flowing river Kali from here. Spa, swimming pool are also available. They conduct water sports too.

We spent two nights here on business and i must say that everything wae excellent. The location of the resort is quite Bank of river. As for the room we are staying in riverside Room view it's good in morning and it is excellent and surprisingly comfortable.I recommend this resort to others having business trip and family.

Wonderful resort in the lap of nature. They have the best part of river Kali, ideal for water sports.. rooms were clean n spacious.. only complaint is that the corridor smells of food all the time.. staff is courteous and helpful..

Booked river view rooms on Dec 2022. Thumbs up for Location and Very Enjoyable Adventure games (paid service) and activities inside resort. Rooms were clean and Pool is very well maintained. Very very poor service and staff is not customer friendly, No responsibility or actions taken when room AC is not working and telephone also not working inside room. Need to walk all way to reception but none turned up to fix the problem. No proper information what is available and what is not available, dinner served at 9pm despite requesting them to serve on time for kids. No safety measures followed lake side and there are no life jackets or rings with rope placed near lake side incase of tragedy. Too much of noise as outsiders end up near your room after rafting. Not a peaceful stay. Would suggest to go for adventure activities, but very very bad experience with staying not even experience we get in 3star hotels. Overall whole family was disappointed with hotel except adventure games.

The resort is at an excellent location right at the bank of the Kali river, rooms are big and very spacious, the food at the riverside restaurant where they serve the buffet is very good with a good spread. For the price getting accommodation and 3 meals is worth the money spent at a remote location like this. Have been here multiple times and the experience has been amazing every time. Plenty of activities at the resort like the 5km+ rafting, zip line, giant swing etc. were an unforgettable experience. They also have an excellent spa in the resort which is definitely worth visiting.

Visited this place "Whistling Woods" resort located near Dandeli/Karnataka on 24 Sep 22 with family and friends. An amazing place by the river side with fantastic facilities for the crowd. The staff are courteous and professional who look after your every needs. The games, adventure activities and the camp fire was superb. Pls carry your drinks for your comfort. Beautiful and Peaceful Staycation. It has got many activities to play. There are twin cottages as well as comfortable rooms. The right place for enjoying vacations- In Between the Nature, away from the usual City Chaos. Morning views from the Balconies are the best. The fresh air, chirping birds, river waters are so soothing and therapeutic. Management & Arrangements are great. Loved every moment spent at Whistling Woods ❤️ I've been visiting the place since 2014 and I still enjoy being there. The place truly has got great vibes. A must place to visit, do add it to your bucket list as well ;)

I visited this place coming from Shimla and trust me this resort has the most calmness in it's air, away from the hectic life of city this place provides you with ample of nature. I was on business trip but still this place feels like home... Everybody here is so friendly and helpful they will do everything to make you feel home. I had a great experience all because of the staff and their nature of handling the guests.

The staff is wonderfuly patient and helpful (don't think any of them ever sleep). Wish I could have stayed longer. Believe everything you read about this charming resort. We so enjoyed our stay there and I hope to return back to this place. The location is perfect.

Whistling Woods Resort disappoints on many fronts, making it hard to justify its high prices. The staff aren't very friendly or helpful, and the rooms, though sort of clean, have issues like black stuff falling from the AC. The food isn't great either. On the bright side, the outdoor activities like rafting are fun, and some staff members, like the receptionists, are nice. The surroundings are kept tidy, but that's about it. Overall, Whistling Woods Resort doesn't live up to its promises, and Despite its breathtaking natural surroundings and picture-perfect location, Whistling Woods Resort still falls short in delivering top-notch service. While the beauty of nature certainly enhances the overall experience, it's overshadowed by the need for significant improvements in the quality of service provided by the staff. Overall, Whistling Woods Resort fails to meet expectations given the price paid for a stay.

we had our MEDICAL COLLEGE BATCH GET TOGETHER at Whistling Woodzs Dandeli on 19th & 20th Jan 2023. The resort is located on the Kali River banks and it simply exotic. The room are excellant. The service is extraordinary. The food is good.The Hotel management is very cooperative and responsive. The conference hall is AC, has audio visual equipments, and can accommodate about 70-80 persons. We had our dinner on the lawns by swimming pool side. They had arranged a tribal dance by camp fire side which was icing on the cake. There are some free and some paid activities. the giant swing, sky cycling and Roller coaster zipline were enjoyable.
