I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. As a solo female traveler, I had the feeling that everyone was making sure all the time that I feel safe and have everything I need. Special thanks to Olo who was extraordinarily helpful and nice to me and of course the other guests. The rooms are very beautiful, comfy and clean. I loved the hotel's outdoor restaurant and pool, both with a view onto the ocean. Everything i ate at the restaurant was great and they have very good vegan and vegetarian options. Also the hotel is close to bars that have live music during the night and if you want, the hotel organizes snorkeling trips for you.

My partner and I stayed at Salt on 23&23 September 2022 and absolutely loved it. The location is amazing, on the beach with stunningly clear, calm water and black volcanic sand and isnā€™t packed with tourists and is very relaxing. The food and drinks at Salt are very good, the service is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious and the air conditioning worked very well. Iā€™d love to stay again and will recommend it to my friends and family. Loved it.

I stayed nearly 4 weeks in Salt Resort & Spa in Amed and I loved the Resort, no complaints whatsoever. The rooms are spacious, nicely furnished and clean. Breakfast is included in the daily rate, you can take it on the terrace with a view of the ocean.. The Resort is right on the beach, you can wash off the salty water of the ocean in a beautiful pool. The best though is the staff of Salt Resort, extremely friendly and helpful. Everything is done with a smile. I will be back for sure.

The staff and location right on the beach are absolutely fabulous as were the food and cocktails. The rooms were super clean and decor is lovely bathrooms definitely older style but super clean. When you arrive they offer ear plugs and eye masks ......and you will need them unfortunately. The sheer curtains let every bit of light in and offer little privacy, waking at 5 am is not our idea of a holiday but maybe to others is acceptable. Also the band next door played 4 out of the 5 nights we stayed very loud, we joined them one night which was great but wasnt appreciated 4 out of 5 nights. The safety deposit box in the room is not bolted down so can be picked up and taken away and room instruction states to lock everything in room safe and no responsibility taken ? If the staff and location was not as it was we would have moved on after the first night. We would definitely return if the curtains were rectified and a secure safe, not much you can do about band next door but join in.

We enjoyed some cocktails and dinner here. It was delicious! The cocktails were great and the food was amazing, the yellow coconut curry with chicken and rice and the seafood platter were so good. We had two starters, cheesy garlic bread and spring rolls which were a good size. The pineapple boat and brownie dessert were worth squeezing in too, we ate those so fast I didnā€™t get a photo. Location is really nice and the staff are excellent.

Salt Resort & Spa is a small hidden gem in Amed. Located right on the beach you have a good pool flanked on either side by the stylish beach feel rooms each with outdoor settings. The restaurant faces the beach and provides good tasty food, coffee and an assortment of alcoholic beverages. Happy hour lasts for two hours and is well worth it. The staff are super friendly and provide you very good service. I have no hesitation in recommending Salt Resort &Spa for your next break.

The most beautiful resort we have ever stayed in. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous with a mini bar, dressing table to get ready at, dressing robes and lovely huge bathrooms. Also gorgeous big mosquito nets which surround the bed. The resort has the most scenic views, with it being right on the beach with the view of the volcano behind you. Just breathtaking. One of the highlights has got to be the food. The menu is the most extensive menu. Absolutely anything you could think of, salt resort had to offer. My favourite was the surf and turf just amazing. We also had the seafood bbq which was Devine. The cocktail menu was just as long and every single one we tried was gorgeous. They also do a happy hour each day making cocktails only 50k! Lastly, the staff are amazing. Every single member was so attentive, helpful and friendly. They even made my partner the pancakes off the breakfast menu for his dessert at dinner as that is what he wanted. Could not recommend this place enough. Itā€™s a must stay in Bali. Already canā€™t wait to come back.

We had a wonderful stay in Salt resort & Spa. The location was fine, just in front of the beach. The hotel staff was really kind and helpful and the food was delicious. The cleanliness was left wanting a bit, but nothing unusual for the area. Don't be scared by the walf in to the bedroom which goes through a rather unkempt parking lot because the front is wonderful.

What an absolute little gem of a resort! If yourelooking for a tranquil getaway, away from the rat race right on the beach, with crystal clear waters...then this is the place. Its not 5 star, but has a 4 star, shabby chic kinda feel...i loved it. The staff are amazing too

Really incredible staff, so courteous and helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. Apart from the amazing location, and the spacious rooms and absolutely delicious food (top class at reasonable prices), I think that what makes this place stand out as the best stay in Bali so far, is the staff that run the resort. Just bare in mind that prices on the menu are stated without tax and a service charge (although it syartas so at the bottom of the menu) - I personally would prefer to just see the actual price. Not sure why it's done that way? We decided to eat most of our meals at our room as smoking is allowed in the restaurant area and having a child with us, that was not pleasant and the music was a bit loud, but that's our personal preference as some may like smoking and loud music. This is just some constructive feedback so please take it as such. The breakfasts here are absolutely incredible and the best I've had on all my travels around the world. So much to choose from and absolutely delicious. Anyway, this is an incredible place to experience a chilled vibe and comfortable stylish place. We absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Amed. The staff organized an amazing boat trip for us to go snorkeling and that was incredible. They also offer laundry at a very good price and we were very happy with the way it was done. The cleaning is also amazing and top notch. If we didn't live so far away, we'd definetely come back again. Thank you to Team Salt - your staff make this place great. 10 out of 10.

Salt Resort in Bali, next to the sea, offers a very nice experience. The clear pool is of a good size, and the service is excellent. The food is enjoyable, and the rooms, even the budget ones, are spacious, but could do with a face lift. However, accessing the detached budget rooms via an unlit dark stony path was challenging, and let the hotel down. The lack of a sign on the road makes it difficult to find. Overall, a pleasant stay with some minor navigational difficulties and some TLC.

I recently had an amazing stay at this hotel! The serene atmosphere and quiet surroundings make it an ideal spot. Despite the volcanic sand, which might concern some, we found it quite pleasant. The see-through water adds to the charm, making the experience truly amazing. The rooms are fantastic, and the staff is incredibly helpful. We even considered returning when we moved, but the distance was a slight drawback. The hotel's proximity to the tourist locations like Lempuyang is a plus. The restaurant lives up to its reviewsā€”amazing food that's truly delicious. Our overall stay was delightful, and the spa experience with skilled therapists was incredibly relaxing. Highly recommendedā€”this place deserves its stellar rating, maybe even more!

I highly recommend Salt Resort and Spa Amed. There is nothing negative I can say. The rooms are spacious and well taken care of. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The surrounds of the resort are beautiful. Right on the black sand beach the view is amazing. As for the staff, what can I say, outstanding service, always happy and eager to please. I will definately be back.

The worst part about our stay was that it was only one night! We had a Seaview room with huge day bed overlooking the ocean. Our room was beautiful and huge. The location was convenient. The pool was lovely. The decor was gorgeous. There is are two restaurants literally next door. And whilst the band was loud, the resort provided ear plugs but the band stopped at 10:30pm which was incredibly reasonable for a Saturday night, we had no issues at all with it.

We spent 2 nights here but wish it was longer. Couldnā€™t fault a thing - our room was huge and right next to the pool, the resort is beachfront - literally step out onto the sand. Cocktails were amazing with Sundays being happy hour all day. The staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble, from organising laundry or transport they were happy to help. Nina and Arya were so friendly and inviting, we will definitely be back!

We loved our 3nts at Salt. The staff were all great, always smiling and helping with requests. Really enjoyed the beachfront location & pool area. They have a really extensive menu with fantastic food and a great happy hour! Rooms were fabulous and decorated beautifull, although the showers could do with an upgrade. Several eateries and shops nearby. It's a lovely place to chill for a few days and snorkel, although Jemeluk Bay is much better for that. Wonderful relaxing spa on-site too!

This is the best family hotel in Amed. We stayed for 2 night there. It was really unique experience staying in Salt Resort Amed. We can enjoy swimming in the beach, sun bathing, and then jumping in to the pool. The beach in Amed is so clean, just 10 steps away from the restaurant. We booked 3 room in Salt, 1 deluxe and 2 budget rooms. Although budget rooms were located 100meters away from the main location, we were really enjoyed the rooms, like private villas with separeted gate directly to the beach. The breakfast were the best. We really recommended this hotel. We will certainly come back next time

Wonderful location, on the beach. Restaurant is small but has excellent menu choices. Staff is extremely helpful. We had a great 6 days stay. Minor point is that main road is close, during the day sometimes traffic noise.

We loved every minute of our stay at Salt. The staff were so friendly and professional. The food was sooooo good and service was fast and accurate every time. The breakfast menu was fabulous with so much to choose from. We loved the 50 000 or for cocktails between 4 and 6 every day and over 5 days we tried nearly all of them!! The vibe of the hotel is so cute with beachy Mediterranean style decor. It has gorgeous blue bean bags, sunlounges and fringed umbrellas in the sand out the front. Just perfect. The pool is clean and inviting. We also fell in love with the hotel dog, Pluto and cat, Maya. They became our pets during our stay. You will love this hotel. We canā€™t wait to stay there again.

Arrived today expecting a delux ocean view room. First appearances do not warrant the price tag. The receptionist was very unwelcoming in tone. The room badly needs an update and no ocean view unless youā€™re standing at the front of your balcony. But plenty of pool noise. The bathroom needs a complete upgrade. So disappointed. I was expecting what was in previous reviews. I asked if I could get an ocean view room and was told ā€˜No you got what you paid for. See from outsideā€™. One star even for the receptionistā€™s rudeness, let alone the room Iā€™m in.

This place is quaint, comfortable, accommodating, and overall stunning! Salt is a beautiful beachfront intimate resort with beautiful room, lovely pool, great food & beverages, & wonderful hotel staff. Event the massage therapist was phenomenal. I was able to walk to shops & other restaurants nearby so itā€™s very conveniently located in the area. I really look forward to staying here again. Thank you so much, Salt team!! You all helped make my 24 hours in Amed so lovely :)

Our stay at Salt Resort was so much better than expected! The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are huge. The food at the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast smoothie bowl was great. The staff were also so helpful, organising us a last minute taxi to the ferry, whipping up a last minute breakfast to go. Loved our stay here!

We had mixed feelings about our stay so I will break it out. Location Is unbeatable. Just stunning. Easy to walk either direction on the beach. You can swim and snorkle straight off the beach. Watch the early morning fisherman come back in with their catch. Check In/ Reception Very friendly and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble. Staff were always very friendly and courteous. Rates are very reasonable. Restaurant/ Bar Very, very good! Staff are all friendly and efficient. Menu has plenty of variety and everything was so good. Breakfast has great options and just delicious. Plus sitting in the breeze beach front was an absolute plus. Good prices. Pool The pool whilst it looks great and very inviting. It is dangerous. The steps in are very slippery and deep. Someone is going to be seriously hurt on those steps. Please put a rail in at the very least. I saw a lady take a bad tumble. Staff came running from everywhere to make sure she was ok. But it would be better if you put in a rail at the very least. Room Rooms are big, clean and nicely furnished. We stayed in two different rooms. Room 8 was the bomb! The bed was great, the AC was great, size was great and you had a big daybed to lounge out on with direct beach front view. If we had been in this room for our stay it would have been perfect :) Room 7 - Was a nightmare. The mattress on the bed was terrible and the AC was inefficient. We both went to sleep on the pool lounges on the last night as we thought they would be cooler and more comfortable but the staff had taken in the cushions, so we had to sweat it out on the rock hard bed. The other concern we had was we went out for sunset drinks and dinner one afternoon and we are very fastidious with making sure our room/ rooms are locked, to the point we cross check each other. But when we got back both rooms were unlocked. Nothing was taken but coming back to unlocked rooms un-nerved us a little. We did bring this to the attention of the reception staff. No explanation. Summary Good place to stay in a great location with great food and drinks right on the beach. Staff are very efficient and friendly.

We had lunch and a drink in this place. Many items on the menu, tastefull, friendly service and good prices. Cocktail during happy hour 50k (excl tax and service) Nice location on the beach. Recommend to visit

Wow! Absolute luxury down to every detail. The rooms are beautiful with so many little touches. The bed is super comfy and huge. The air con is quiet and efficient. There are loads of towels. The bathroom is spacious. The pool is gorgeous. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The food is delicious, the coctails to die for and theres such a choice all at very reasonable prices. We had the full spa package and it was heaven! My skin still feels like silk 3 days later! The staff are on hand to help you in every way.. nothing is too much trouble and you don't need to ask twice. They even arranged for a local snorkel guide to pick me up from the beach.. less than 20m from my room! The setting is stunning and sunrise over the pool or beach is beautiful. Didn't want to leave!

Our experience at Salt Resort was perfect. We stayed there with two other families and the resort has a really cosy and friendly vibe, with fresh and simple dƩcor that feels really relaxing. All rooms have a view of the pool and the sea is literally on the doorstep, so you have options for swimming (especially useful with kids). The breakfast was AMAZING, really well made, using fresh ingredients, and portions are big too (including fresh fruit juice plus coffee/tea). The location is great for exploring other parts of Amed: beaches, diving, snorkelling etc. The massage here is also very good and really reasonably priced: I had a deep tissue massage and my wife opted for the Balinese massage and both were great. We had a really relaxing stay and we will be back!

Great hotel. Caters well for vegan and vegetarian. However some meals are served with a spicy mayo dip which doesnā€™t seem to be vegan (the waiting staff told us it was made with normal mayo so either better training for staff required or some dishes need to be labeled vegan option instead). Pool is great for a dip after a day of activities. The music from the bar next door can be very loud on some nights which was a drawback, but the resort provides earplugs if you want an early nights sleep. Would stay here again and recommend.

We had a lovely 5 days in what we think is the best room in the resort the beachfront suite. We loved being right on the beach and watching the boats go out just before sunrise and just before sunset then watching them process the catch when they came back. We miss our animals at home and loved the friendly dogs that roamed around like all of Bali. A great place to walk on the beach or go to nearby restaurants although the food and drinks at the resort were fabulous and reasonably priced. The place could use with some fixing up but that seems normal these days as places recover from Covid. The staff were exceptional and made you feel it was their pleasure to serve. We were also pleased with the taxi service they connected us with. Highly recommend.

Loved our stay at Salt! Beachfront location able to relax and also immerse in the local Amed fishing beach life. Fabulous staff always friendly smiling and super helpful. Was lovely having little Maya the cat smooching with me and resort doggo and her pups playing, quite homely. Beautiful sparkling pool, great to also swim in ocean straight from resort. Food exceptional. Choices on menu extensive.
