This is a great place for food or a cooking class. We had gone to the market nearby and stopped in because we were hungry. A cooking class was in progress and the owner/teacher said we could wait until her kitchen staff arrived for dinner service. We hung out, chatted with everyone and observed the class. Wish I had taken the class because the menu items looked amazing and everyone was having fun! Later, the dinner we ordered was delicious and definitely shows why learning to cook here is a great idea (fresh calamari, roasted duck and chicken curry)! Highly recommend!

Susie's cafe hands down has the best food in Amed ! Quality Indonesian food with the best hospitality Chicken curry, Tempe Redang, Fish in Banana leaf are to name a few dishes my wife and I had at her cafe. All exceptional dishes and one should also not miss out on her chocolate cake and chocolate brownies...WOW Be sure to stop here when you are in the Area!

Trust me! You will never disappointed to eat here. I can’t believe there’s a proper good Indonesian food in Amed. The homemade desserts are the best! This cafe is at d’Sawah Amed Homestay, just go in and ask ibu Susi, she’s unbelievable talented.

Susie was the perfect host & teacher for this cooking experience.  One of us is vegetarian & the quality & choice of ingredients was perfect.  We made a Balinese sauce, Balinese vegetables with grated coconut, fried tempe with sweet soy sauce, a fish dish & vegetarian curry.  The kitchen & work space was very hygienic and the views from the venue are amazing.   Emphasis was on ensuring the dishes were carefully & safely prepared & fully cooked.  We enjoyed Susie's friendly & relaxed style and her company.  She also had a lovely woman who helped behind the scenes too.  A great team.  Susie and her staff work tremendously hard & I can't praise her cooking class & skills enough [plus her & chocolate cakes are super delicious too!]

If you are looking for delicious food : this is the best restaurant in Amed. Food is home made and so tasty. Susie is an incredible cook, host and teaches cooking classes. Also the rooms are beautiful, spacious, comfortable. Excellent quality bed. I expected to hear noise of the road but I was not disturbed! Such a wonderful place. Thank you Susie 🙏

**As an info, the restaurant is where you see the d'Sawah sign. Just follow the pavement going straight ** Nice place with an extended choice compared with the local warung (no offence). We tried it too late to have also a cooking class, hope to be there again to take the chance! Also, I recommend to go there by day as the view it's worth it.

🫤 The place has an atmosphere... but this atmosphere was mostly created by nature. You added good music, furniture, invested a lot of money in construction... but what you feed people and what drinks you sell is a different story. Unfortunately, despite all the beauty of this place, you can only come...

👍👍 Italian food in Bali? I never would have thought to eat something so good on the other side of the world. It may not be the kind of cuisine they serve in Naples or Rome, but it has something.
