Warung amsha

Restaurant Satay restaurant

👍👍 It’s off the beaten path. If you’re on the Amed strip (road), you need to turn off the main road and go down an alley and park. Once there you walk to the beach and turn left. If you’re walking on the beach it’s easy to spot. There are a cluster of warungs. Amsha is in the middle. OMG the Rendang... People often mention beach, good, fish, nice, Amed, Bali, friendly, curry, great, delicious,

We will be back to try the fish! The vegetable Urab was delicious! We love vegetables. Amsha was the first restaurant we’ve been able to order Urab as a stand-alone dish. The tofu curry was delicious! It came with a plate of rice. We put about half the plate of rice into the bowl of curry. Wow! Spectacularly scrumptious! We will be back!

Very nice eating experience. Maybe the best along this beach. The food was great, nice menu. The service was better and they set a gorgeous table for us on the beach. The manager was very friendly. Mid meal some fishermen came in to land their vessel and all the dinner went out to help them bring their boat ashore. We had a great night

Cute bamboo restaurant facing the ocean. The food was delicious. We got the fried bananas which were very tasty, tofu curry, and Nasi campur. We really relished our dishes which were cheap and well-presented.

Our favorite restaurant in Amed! The owners are lovely and have created a really wonderful restaurant. The food is delicious and the setting is beautiful. We went there one lunch and it was closed, so came back later for dinner and sunset which was excellent! We had the spring rolls, veggie curry and Tempe satay for one meal. The tempe satay was the BEST I've ever had over a month in Bali & Lombok, the peanut sauce is so good. The only thing i wouldnt recommend is their fried potatoes for dinner, they were more like crisps/chips and didnt really go with a proper meal. Amazing you can have whatever side you want with your main though! You also have to get the lak lak for dessert, our first time trying it and it was heavenly. We then got it three more times in other restaurants and none were as good. We went there twice and were never disappointed. Highly recommended!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in this area! Absolutely gorgeous and tasty food and drinks! With a lot of vegetarian options, the people are very nice and friendly and the view is perfect, directly on the beach 😍😍 The food and drinks are super cheap and all the prices you'll see on the menu are INCLUDED TAX AND SERVICE! We paid for 2 meals + 2 Watermelon juice and 2 coffees not even 90K ! Amazing!

A local suggested this beach front resto when I was craving for some ceviche. Unfortunately, they didn’t have it here. Instead we got nasi campur and ayam something. The ayam’s spice dip had a little shrimp paste taste to it, so not sure if other people will fall in love with that. My nasi campur, on the other hand, was perfect. So filling. Their juice selection was great too! Instant favorite was their soursop + mint. It was quite refreshing! For dessert, we tried their lak-lak. The rice flour wasn’t that sticky, and the slightly burnt taste of the coconut sugar was perfect to balance this treat. Great quite spot by the beach with kind owners who don’t oversell their dishes. They let the dishes speak for themselves through their flavors. They were reconstructing something at the front while we ate there, but hopefully that would be all done soon.

This little beach warung was in our Lonely Plannet so being the safe little tourists that we are, we decided to try it out. Although it’s difficult to find at first (Google maps directed us through a construction site), you can simply reach it by walking to the beach or stroll along the beach till you get there. Food was amazing! I tried the fresh fish rapped in banana leaves and it was so fresh and tasty. Not a big portion though. We also had spring rolls, satay and chicken rendang. They were all really good! Only downside was that the rice and ingredients were not mixed yet. As a dessert, I wanted to try a local dish so had some rice mini-pancakes with some sweet toppings (including syrup). You should try it! Atmosphere is obviously nice due to the sea being in front of you. You can take your shoes of and waddle your feet through the grey sand. Not a lot of places with grey sand like that. The reggae place next door had some live reggae music, which attributed to the scenery nicely. The staff was really friendly and fast. They helped with picking out dishes in case you had questions. Food was inexpensive and you can leave a tip if you like (we did of course!). Summary Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Atmosphere: 10/10 Price: cheap

(Translated by Google) Restaurant on the beach, at the top for the view and the atmosphere. The food was good, but a bit pricey compared to the average Balinese. We pay the frame. (Original) Restaurant sur la plage, au top pour la vue et l'ambiance. Les plats étaient bons, mais un peu cher par rapport a la moyenne balinaise. On paye le cadre.

i’m having the Soup fish and Grilled Fish, forgot take the grill fish photo as too hungry. but both fish soup and grilled fish is wonderful for me. it’s beach view restaurant, but i couldn’t find their Signboard “Warung Amsha”, so the first day i missed this shop and visited another shop. but this shop just corner at row of shop. the staff still can regonize me during first day i missed the shop. so i visit second day. price is reasonable and meet the price. fish soup, fish is really fresh and good taste! and grill fish only grill when order, so is super hot and nice! love it!

This warungs is right on the beach surrounded by other warungs. The flavour of the food was fine but the portions were small. They say they use mineral water for all drinks and preparation which can be helpful for many. The prices are higher than some and lower than others but in keeping with the more tourist nature of Amed but not as high as the Denpasar region.

Well, I cannot explain how much I love this place! The staff is really nice, there were three puppies and their mom that were absolutely adorable, and above all, the food was amazing. We went back there several times (meaning it was REALLY good). Lots of vegetarian options!! My all time favorite was the tempe sate, which is made with an incredible peanut butter sauce. Plus, the food is not spicy!! You can ask for spice but if you don't like spicy food, you don't have to worry about asking. The only thing I could criticize would be the fried potatoes: they weren't crispy enough and the portion was pretty small.

Good value, nice location, great service. We had the grilled squid and pepes ikan (pepes fish) and their fried potato's. The potato's are basically fresh chips/crisps and seem to have local salt. Very tasty. The menu says they use mineral water for ice and drinks so seems safe, lots of people getting cocktails. Not massive portions but good enough for the price. Would come again.

A friendly, family run restaurant right on the beach. Was extremely impressed with the food here, particularly the fresh prawns. Lak-lak for desert was great too. Good cocktails too and great views along the beach.

(Translated by Google) A very good restaurant in a prime location. We were completely thrilled. Very cheap and very good food and everything was also fast. Portions are always a bit smaller as in Bali so I have paid for starter and 3 main courses and a large beer barely 11/12 €. Really unbeatable. And the sunset behind the volcano is still free. Perfect all around. (Original) Ein sehr gutes Restaurant in bester Lage. Rundum perfekt.

I love this welcoming beach Warung. This takes you way back when! Honest freshly cooked offerings served with heart and soul and perennial good humour, with the Reggae bar just near enough to colour the night with memories. As spicy as you wish, always fresh food, corn and peanuts from the padi, catch of the day and veg from the village. A little gem tucked away between the brighter lights, this one shines brightest of all.

For us one of the best restaurants in Bali! We enjoyed our food during the sunset at the beach. We had very tasty fish in banana leaves and grilled squid. Also the Lak-Lak and the grilled pineapple are fantastic! Dede was a very welcoming host. If we come back to Amed one day, we will definetly go there again!

Very cute place, hidden at a black sand beach. Family who runs it, local produced veggies. Lots of vegetarian options. Fruit juices are great. We had the nasi campur and babi satay which were amazing.

Warung Amsha was the best place to relax, drink, eat and admire the Amed beach. And everything was perfect. The fish in banana leaf was made to perfection - so moist and full of aroma. Chicken redang was soooo delicious. Chicken curry was also very good. We will miss this place, really. We hope we will return there very soon. Thank you .

The place is super well located on the beach. We tried some vegetarian dishes and the food was tasty. Portions are normal but prices are cheap. The staff was friendly BUT the service was really slow. We had to wait almost one hou until they served us which is not acceptable and there were only 3 tables at that moment and that's why I give them only 4 stars

  • 5/5 Christian M. 1 year ago on Google
Very good vegetable soup and CapCay with vegetables from the organic family farm. ASK for additional homemade sambal. No plastic straws!!! And a sustainable mindset. We got our leftovers in a banana leaf for takeaway. For us a huge + and a reason to eat there more then once. No WiFi.

Good Warung with a very nice scenery, with tables directly on the beach, feet in the sand, nice little lights. Good place to enjoy the sunset. On the food side, it really depends on what you take: the fish was really good - I took a fish ran dan which is a coconut / peanut sauce over local fish. However we changed the rice for fried noddles which I don’t recommend (they really not as good as many fried noddles we tried). The fish curry was also great but we wouldn’t recommend the fried tempeh which is a bit dry, lacking sauce. We tried the arak cocktail Balicoloda, which has a strong taste of alcohol but is nice.

Such great food, service and atmosphere here! Directly at the beach, the food is soo good that it is hard to describe. We travel in SEA for more than half a year and can honestly say that this is a very unique experience, that has a fine dining touch to it. Rendang was mouth watering and lak-lak dessert afterwards… oh boy… dont forget to treat yourself here, fellow travelers! ☺️

What an amazing host, chef and food. Don't just think twice - go there and order food. We are vegetarian and just loved the vegetable soup, Urab vegetables, tofu curry. They customised it as per our needs. Warung Amsha is secluded and straight in front of the sea. It was cloudy and we were sitting facing the sea - It was just amazing time having conversation with my wife with sea breeze and lovely food.

Worst place I've been too in bali, couldn't even finish it. I ordered grilled pork. When the food arrived the smell was horrible. Also they had grilled the vegetables together with the bad meat so it tasted the same (which my vegetarian girlfriend did not enjoy). Hoped that the desserts would save this place but they where pretty mediocre.

The perfect combination between traditional food and exquisite taste. This is your typical warung but right at the beach and has real flavor Indonesian family recipe. The location is a dream, you can even have your toes in the sand while eating. To finish with broche de oro this warung has the normal dishes and the chef recommendations which are really good. Even better, has the same prices as a regular warung. Soups around 20k Starters and complements 15k - 25k And mains from 35k - 70k
