A cozy place where you can eat delicious food. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian tempeh burger. Surprisingly, it was juicy, with bright flavors, I was very satisfied, even though I am a meat eater. Cap cay was amazing 😍 grilled squid was nice and beautiful cooked. The service is fast, neat. On the menu, the prices are inclusive of tax, so you won't have to pay it extra. This is a big plus. :( On the downside, the veranda is being renovated, the noise of hammers is endless. :( The poster saying that visa and Mastercard are accepted here is not true, we were charged cash.

Ma dudes. This place made me feel sorry for ever having calamari before. This place serves them the way they're supposed to be: fresh, tender, litly fried. Do yourself a favor, get seafood here. P.S. Nobody's gonna judge you here if you get an absolutely delicious rice pudding for dessert -- especially not your friends, because there will be enough to share.

Two words…Delicious and friendly. The owner very kind to all guest. All meals prepared by his family and it’s fresh, kids difficult to eat fish and they made kids love to eat fish. We love the gesture of this family. I only could capture those two meals, because the others gone too fast. 🤭

If Heaven exists, Warung Sabar is the main restaurant. I haven't eaten this well in years... wish I had a second stomach to just keep eating. I had Nasi Campur, Curry, Satay Tempe.. everything so full of flavour, everything fresh.. I'll come here again everyday while I'm here. This place is run by the Sweetest family I've met in Bali. So hard-working, accommodating, friendly. Best experience in Amed, Bali, Indonesia, and easily top 3 best places I've ever been in the world.

Food was brilliant and super cheap! Really relaxed vibe to go with the whole Amed feel. So much to choose from but the fish and squid was particularly good. We went 2 days in a row so that tells you what we thought

We got the Seafood basket and Nasi Campur. Excellent food. Reasonable price. The Calamari specifically was amazing. Be aware though that the restaurant owner offered us taxi services and tried to completely rip us off. He offered it in USD (red flag) and it was 50%-double what we were quoted elsewhere/paid.

I highly recommend you go to this place 👍🏻 all the staff and owners were friendly and sweet, and the food was so cheap but a big portion so flavorful and tasty yummy 😋 we couldn't finish it so I asked to take it out and she packed it everything was perfect 💯

Overall a very good experience. I ordered seafood basket and nasi goreng. The arrangement of the seafood platter is superb, but the shrimp and the fish fillet had a bit of a freezer smell to it but I understand as it seems difficult to obtain fresh seafood here. The fried calamari was good and the batter was crispy. The fried rice was standard and there's nothing lacking of it. The owner even gave us a glass of local liquor (arak) and it was tasty. The arak was mixed with honey and you can taste the floral characteristic of the local honey. The liquor was sweet and not dry, and had a funky aftertaste to it, typical of this kind of yeast ferment. Everyone of service was very polite and friendly. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

I have been coming to Lipah for the past 7 years and my family before that , each time I always eat at Warung Sabar ,the food is amazing, the service and atmosphere is very welcoming and it is so clean and you are made to feel part of the family. Pauli runs this amazing restaurant with his wife and family. I have now become a vegetarian and I couldn't of wished for such a good choice of food. If you are celebrating a birthday or anything special just let them know and they will do anything you wish.

Everything was perfect. We got BBQ ribs and a big plate with mahi-mahi fish, prawns, calamari and vegetables on a stick . The personnel were nice and the prices were low.

I could not recommend this place more. This Warung services some of the best food I have ever had. You MUST go here if you are traveling around north east Bali. The food is all freshly made and the service is incredible. I will definitely be back!

Great home cooked balinese food. One of the best I’ve had in Bali. I had fish soup and grilled tuna and they were great. We even asked for a dessert that wasn’t in the menu (klepon) and they made it for us. (Major tip: klepon is the best balinese dessert - sticky rice balls filled with palm sugar syrup)

Tried the slow roasted duck and the black pudding tonight, yesterday for lunch we had fish curry (pepes ikan wish freshly caught Mahi Mahi) and garlic shrimp with dadar gulung for dessert! Everything’s was perfect. Their arak with lime and honey is also the perfect way to accompany the dishes. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Left with full bellies for a good price. Highly recommend. It’s a family run business with the sweetest and kindest staff. Everyone is helpful, smiling and talkative. The mood at the place is great and it feels like you’re leaving your friends house after a lovely dinner party. Will definitely com back!

Great food at a good price. We came here two nights in a row because the food was so great. My wife had the green curry both times which she loved. I had first the BBQ Pig ribs and then grilled tuna. Both were great. The meat literally fell of the bones of the pig. The tuna was very tasty but grilled all the way through. Not a mistake I think since this seems to be more the style than western or Japanese style with just slightly grilled with almost raw middle. Just a heads up more than anything. And don’t miss on the arak lemon drink. So good. The owner is very friendly and comes to chat a bit. Always smiling. We stayed within walking distance of here. We came for dinner and lunch several times. We enjoyed the food very much. The fruit drinks were also very good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 👍

Very affordable meals around 40-60k including tax. Paid around 260k for three people with drinks and starter. Good food. Will go again. The village is quite quiet today but Sabar had 6 or 7 tables full of people so must be one of the best Warungs im the area.

The first thing you notice when seated is the surrounding gardens at the restaraunt certainly giving you a feeling of at ease, comfort, efficiency, tidiness and just to sit back and relax. The menu is extensive, mainly Indonesian with some Western and Asian cuisine as well offered. From entrees of Fish cakes to Lumpia to mains of Seafood curry, Vegetarian fried rice, Sate chicken or Spaghetti Carbonara not one solitary fault. So much so we found room for desserts of Banana split, Banana pancake and Fried Ice cream. Who said the latter was a Chinese speciality? Absolutely perfect here at Warung Sabar. The service was exemplary and although not fast for us perfect to enjoy our meals at a leisurely pace. Finally the price. Warung Sabar you are to be commended. Our favourite place in Amed! We spent 6 nights in Amed, and came to eat here 4 times! Food was excellent, very friendly family and cosy atmosphere! Definitively to be recommended, and we will come again, too!

Found this place on trip advisor, came here the first night and the restaurant was full, couldn't get a table. Decided to book a table for the next night to make sure we got in and so glad we did as it was the best meal we've had in Amed. We got grilled fish (tuna) and sweet and sour fish and both were so good!! I also ordered a glass of white wine and for Bali it was actually pretty good 🙂 Can definitely recommend a trip here

This restaurant was only a five minutes walk from our hotel. We ended up eating dinner here every night for 4 nights 😅. The hospitality of the family that runs it knows no limits. So extremely friendly people who talk English very well. The food is great. The kitchen very clean. You can also book a transfer, taxi or activities through them. We were on half a day of snorkeling by boat with Pauli which also was great. Highly recommended
