The sauteed vegetables were also very delicious. I had the freshly squeezed pineapple juice without sugar and it was perfect. I could hear the staff pureeing the pineapple soon after I ordered it so I knew it was fresh. My girlfriend had the fish soup with rice and it was very good too. We both liked the organic red rice that comes with both dishes and finished all of our food. We initially sat in the front area but when one of the platform tables opened up, our server helped us move tables over. What a delight it was! The cushions were so comfy and the table was made of glass panel over a wooden stump - very modern and cool. Our server was very attentive and always smiled and was very friendly. We felt so welcome. He also was very detailed at keeping our table clean and made sure to turn on the fan overhead to keep us comfortable. Afterwards, the owner helped us find our way back to our place of accomodation and we were so grateful for his kindness and hospitality. We will come back!

Nice in theory, but communication was difficult and they didn’t have a few things available. It was hot and stuffy. I have food allergies, and they brought my plate with condiments not listed on the menu slathered all over my food. Unfortunately, I still had to pay for the food I couldn’t eat, as well as the replacement dish I ordered specially once I clearly asked them to leave off any surprise sauces.

This resort was pleasant surprise for me, clean spacious apartment with air conditioning, host was very helpful even possible to pick you up from airport for reasonable money. Resort is a bit further north east of Denpasar, but worth the trip because is not so crowded as other part of Bali. Beach is clean best place for snorkelling. Food was delicious there are bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood, and if you are interested local host will take you out for a trip around and its very cheap. So overall you have lots of options to spend time here. I can only recommend this place.

He knows Amed very well and shared some useful pointers on our first night at Amed. The grilled mahi-mahi fish as well as the mackerel were fresh and paired nicely with the tasty Balinese "urap" veggie side. Local seafood at its best 😋
