Staying at this hotel nearly cost us our lives. Don’t do it. Whilst staying at the hotel we rented a scooter from the brother of the family who own/runs it. As soon as we started the scooter we knew there was something wrong. We should have trusted our gut instincts instead we placed our trust in a man who has no morals whatsoever. Both brakes failed when going down a steep local mountain and we were in free fall heading towards a cliff. I had to slam both my feet down on the concrete to slow the scooter and save our lives. My shoes, socks and feet were completely destroyed as a result. After parking up the brake-less bike we then had to descend the mountain in blazing heat (with no shoes) for 2 hours until we got back to the hotel. When we told the brother what happened and that we nearly died (we would have if the brakes had failed on a turn 5 seconds earlier) he just shouted at us demanding to know where his bike was and was outraged that we left it on the mountain. I was in utter disbelief. Not only was this man a horrible professional - he was a disgusting human being with no regard for anyone except himself. After screaming at us he stormed off to find his bike. Meanwhile his sister (who also works at the hotel) was just smirking the whole time and told us to sit down and calm down. When the brother reappeared he was all smiles again (because he had found his beloved bike in one piece exactly where we told him we left it). He then had the audacity to tell us there was no problem with the brakes and that we had imagined it because we don’t know how to ride Amed roads like the locals. Such a liar. We left the hotel immediately. We had no where to stay, no scooter and no shoes. But we were thankful we still had our lives. Do not stay here.

Beautiful, clean and large bungalows with private balconies in well maintained gardens. Great location close to the nicest beach in the area. Clean pool. Haven't tried the cafe yet but it is also spotless. Note this area is set on a hill so you do have to climb stairs to your bungalow. Amazing value I highly recommend.

Kind and friendly personal, nice and calm place. There is a clean swimming pool, with pretty lights at night. Breakfast is okay, not many different options. My room was good but with some old stuff. Overall, I enjoyed staying in this place. Thank you for your hospitality

Manager is only concerned about your money. Constantly trying to get us to rent a bike or snorkel equipment or hire him to drive us to ubud. We took him up on renting a scooter and it was the worst bike I've ridden throughout my 4 months of traveling in SE Asia. We needed it for a visit to one of the temples at sunrise. The minute I got on the bike and tested the brakes I knew there was something wrong but didn't think it would be serious. The back brake was completely worn so I relied a lot on the front brake. The brake pads were completely eroded and it was metal on metal while braking. Unfortunately the cable broke when we were descending on a steep hill. I was screaming and have never been so scared in all my life. My partner and I dug our shoes into the road so much so that the soles of our shoes completely wore off along with our socks! We ended up stopping the bike before we drove it off a cliff. I was crying and shaking. We had to walk 2 hrs to get back to the hotel with holes in our shoes. When we arrived back we let the manager know we were upset he lent us such a terrible bike. He knew it was a hunk of junk but didn't care. We told him we had to leave the bike on the mountain because it didn't have brakes. He was furious with us. All he cared about was his bike and his money. He was screaming at us to get his bike. No apologies, no refunds, nothing. He said it was my fault for the bike breaking. Ive been riding motorbikes for the last 12 years, I know what im doing. We were so shocked by his reaction and disgusted that he couldn't care less that his scooter nearly killed us that we instantly left the hotel. The man is evil. There are such lovely people in Ames, and this place will not give you the experience of meeting them. If the manager's morals don't concern you, the rooms are big but dirty. The bathroom especially is bad. The air con never cooled our room and breakfast in the morning was minimal and bad tasting.

Have been only in Caffè for the breakfast. I really don't like to write bad comments... But it was not nice what happened there. And what I am say here is not about money BUT ABOUT QUALITY OF SERVICE AND FOOD Just to let you know - staff are not good in English at all! They are nice but that's it... I asked the price fore breakfast and as I am in Asia - I asked twice 25000 for all? Twice man told me yes... In the end It was not correct information and omelette - BTW WAS NOT THE BEST QUALITY THAT FOOD AT ALL And fruits they are selling separately. When they showed me the bill I ask why like that, and only thing they told me.. Oh sorry he mistake.... And? Why I should pay for his mistake? Thank you 🙏

Lovely, clean hotel and friendly staff. Our budget room was spacious and equipped with AC, hot shower and a TV. Nice pool with beautiful views. Breakfast wasn't great but other than that - no complaints!

I had a wonderful time (2 weeks) at this peaceful and cozy place. The tranquility, good internet, and lovely swimming pool made my stay even better. I highly recommend booking a sea view room, which comes equipped with AC and a fan. Having a grocery store next door was also very convenient. The staff were friendly, helpful, respectful, and polite throughout my stay. Unlike some other places, there was no construction noise or roosters around. The breakfast was simple but decent. Overall, it's not a fancy villa, but the price/value is very good

Great value, clean rooms and we had a stunning view of the ocean. Friendly and helpful staff sorted us out with snorkeling fins and local knowledge. Clean and comfortable and a great location. Would certainly come back.

Good clean rooms with ac and hot water, tv set with satellite channels. Great view from the top, deep and almost clean swimming pool. Good breakfast, but awful food by the menu. Nice stay there but not for your dinner, bad belly afterwards

I had a very nice stay at this place for a great price. Rooms are clean and tidy, nicely furnished, and include AC, TV, good WiFi, and there is a pool to hop into. Reception girl could be friendlier, but I didnt care much for that price. Enjoy the stay!

Cheap price for pretty good rooms with sea view and swimming pool, breakfast included. 250k per night, and they can rent out snorkeling equipment for 40k. Be sure to checkout nice rooftop next to this hotel.
