Manager
is
only
concerned
about
your
money.
Constantly
trying
to
get
us
to
rent
a
bike
or
snorkel
equipment
or
hire
him
to
drive
us
to
ubud.
We
took
him
up
on
renting
a
scooter
and
it
was
the
worst
bike
I've
ridden
throughout
my
4
months
of
traveling
in
SE
Asia.
We
needed
it
for
a
visit
to
one
of
the
temples
at
sunrise.
The
minute
I
got
on
the
bike
and
tested
the
brakes
I
knew
there
was
something
wrong
but
didn't
think
it
would
be
serious.
The
back
brake
was
completely
worn
so
I
relied
a
lot
on
the
front
brake.
The
brake
pads
were
completely
eroded
and
it
was
metal
on
metal
while
braking.
Unfortunately
the
cable
broke
when
we
were
descending
on
a
steep
hill.
I
was
screaming
and
have
never
been
so
scared
in
all
my
life.
My
partner
and
I
dug
our
shoes
into
the
road
so
much
so
that
the
soles
of
our
shoes
completely
wore
off
along
with
our
socks!
We
ended
up
stopping
the
bike
before
we
drove
it
off
a
cliff.
I
was
crying
and
shaking.
We
had
to
walk
2
hrs
to
get
back
to
the
hotel
with
holes
in
our
shoes.
When
we
arrived
back
we
let
the
manager
know
we
were
upset
he
lent
us
such
a
terrible
bike.
He
knew
it
was
a
hunk
of
junk
but
didn't
care.
We
told
him
we
had
to
leave
the
bike
on
the
mountain
because
it
didn't
have
brakes.
He
was
furious
with
us.
All
he
cared
about
was
his
bike
and
his
money.
He
was
screaming
at
us
to
get
his
bike.
No
apologies,
no
refunds,
nothing.
He
said
it
was
my
fault
for
the
bike
breaking.
Ive
been
riding
motorbikes
for
the
last
12
years,
I
know
what
im
doing.
We
were
so
shocked
by
his
reaction
and
disgusted
that
he
couldn't
care
less
that
his
scooter
nearly
killed
us
that
we
instantly
left
the
hotel.
The
man
is
evil.
There
are
such
lovely
people
in
Ames,
and
this
place
will
not
give
you
the
experience
of
meeting
them.
If
the
manager's
morals
don't
concern
you,
the
rooms
are
big
but
dirty.
The
bathroom
especially
is
bad.
The
air
con
never
cooled
our
room
and
breakfast
in
the
morning
was
minimal
and
bad
tasting.
