Our yoga group of 14 has been staying at Life in Amed this past week. This place is simply heaven on Earth. Any request is met with a huge smile and is no problem. Our rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the yoga shala is airy and beautifully stocked with quality yoga props. The food is AMAZING. Super fresh and tasty. We cannot wait to come back next year.

I posted a request for family room for me and my parents and one of the responses was Life in Amed. The owner contacted me and connected me to the GM. Who gave us a good discount. Life in Amed looks beautiful, the family cottage has 1 king bed and 2 small twin beds in the maisonnette. Our little private terrace had view on the ocean and the boats on the beach. Very friendly staff. The restaurant was very convenient. A nice menu. Very surprised by the fact that they seemed to have everything in stock. They never told us no. A good vegetarian section. Vegan not so much. The 2 house cats were cute. Only negative things were: 2 of the three nights there was loud music late at night of neighbors. The whole house squeaks including stairs, floor and bed. The twin beds are too small for an adult of 175cm. shower is nice and hot ! Location is a little out of town. Both ways you don’t come very far when you don’t ride a scooter. My parents are both 70 and don’t drive a scooter. So we are depending on walking. if you are a vegetarian or even vegan there is not much close by.

Wonderful, magical resort in a remote fishing village in Amed. Exceptional kids friendly service, good food, well equipped Yoga Shala with an exceptional view and last but not least a beautiful coral garden at the doorstep. Since the resort is a bit remote, you need transport to the village- either scooter or transport from the hotel. The staff is very helpful and escorted us to every desired place. Just be aware that the resort is in the middle of a fishing village which can be noisy but so you really feel like being part of ‘Life in Amed’.

(Translated by Google) Good report, even if sometimes it leaves a little to be desired, the hot water of the shower takes nearly 10 minutes to arrive, that said the open shower is very clearly a funny experience. The staff and the locals are very nice! The only negative is the food is very bland for the so-called local, it is better to find a little warung in the area if you want to eat local and spicy ...

LOVED IT! LOVED IT! LOVED IT! Awesome villas and pool. The staff make you feel SO welcome. The food is great too. The yoga space upstairs is perfect. You'd never know it, but the snorkeling right out front is better than anything else we found in Amed, and we snorkeled A LOT! Cute and healthy (and loved) cats always around for a snuggle. If I return to Amed, I would definitely stay at Life in Amed again and rent a scooter to zap around to the different viewpoints. Amed feels like a million miles from Kuta, and it has a slow chill vibe. No need to bother going to Gili...it is all overblown now anyway. Enjoy!

Had a great meal here recently. The food was top notch and the menu had a great range to pick from including vegetarian and vegan option. Everything was reasonably priced too. Although they were understaffed so service was a little slow, we all enjoyed relaxing and chatting so it was no hardship. They even offered transport to drive us back to our Villa after the meal. Highly recommended.

From the moment we were picked up in Seminyak by a private car, we felt the promise of a unique experience, and Life in Amed didn't disappoint. The location is simply breathtaking. With magnificent views and immaculate accommodations, our stay was both easy and comfortable. Every morning, we were treated to a picturesque view of boats. The property itself is a treat for the senses. The meticulous grounds are adorned with fresh flower petals on the walking paths, creating an ambiance of pure serenity. The pools are super clean as well. The culinary offerings were a revelation. The freshness of the food was unparalleled, ranking among the best meals we had during our travels. The smoothies? Absolutely irresistible! And for those with specific dietary preferences, the vegan and vegetarian options were plentiful and delectable. An unforgettable highlight was our boat trip to Tirta Gangga. The natural beauty we witnessed was truly humbling. Every staff member at Life went above and beyond, showcasing incredible kindness and attentiveness. The service was impeccable, matched only by the quality of the food. Having traveled through Thailand and Indonesia for a month, ending our journey at Life was the cherry on top. Those five days of relaxation were the perfect culmination of our adventures. Beyond the comforts of the accommodations, Life offers a yoga studio for those seeking spiritual rejuvenation, and the displayed art pieces resonate with the tranquil spirit of Bali. Our early morning hike through the nearby village was a peaceful journey, allowing us to truly immerse ourselves in the local culture. In conclusion, I can't recommend Life in Amed Bali enough. Whether you're concluding a month-long journey or just seeking a week of tranquility, this is the place to be. Also, Safety was not issue for us gals! Enjoy.

This a a quaint little hotel that I would recommend to people looking to relax and/or have small children. The food in the restaurant is amazing, the included breakfast hits the spot and everything we tried on the menu was top notch my favorite was the 'gado gado'. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. If you are into yoga they have a studio on the premise with classes twice a day. The only downside (which is probably for every hotel in this area) is the the roosters start growing at 4:00 in the morning.

A beautiful little gem a little way out of Amed central. Everything about this beachside accommodation (we had a little thatched cottage with a huge double bed on the ground floor and another on a mezzanine floor above and en-suite bathroom) was perfect for our needs.

It doesn't take many words to describe this wonderful place: INCREDIBLY GREAT! A place to feel good, to unwind or to explore the area. No traffic jam, no artificial holiday atmosphere, just the way it is and therefore lovely and inviting. A unique little boutique resort with its beautiful cottages in the heart of a fishing village. Here, the world still seems to be in order. But best of all are the people who make this hotel special. Cordiality and friendly interaction from the very first minute. No matter if at the transfer, at the reception, in the restaurant, housekeeping, in the garden or for questions around leisure activities... the people working at Life in Amed Hotel are the best hosts you could wish for. I booked three nights and spent four nights here and wish I could stay longer. Didn’t go out that much and could enjoy the delicious food in the restaurant. Loved the a la card breakfast and the choices for lunch and dinner. Enjoyed Balinese food but liked as well their home made focaccia bread and could see other guests having delicious international dishes as well. Unfortunately I can't stay longer but definitely I will be back. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

Thoroughly enjoyable stay… Fantastic menu that will cater to all. The food cleverly blends traditional Balinese with wholesome & healthy. Lots of nutritious drink options such as detox turmeric elixir with lime, mint & ginger. Beautiful gardens & lovely staff. Overall a relaxing place to stay in Amed.

Life in Amed is both a favourite location to run retreats and an incredible place to stay for a holiday. It’s right on the beach, the rooms are super clean, lovely and designed well. The sunrises each morning are magical. The Life in Amed restaurant serves the most delish food and the staff and owner Sarah do all they can to make your stay the best it can be. We absolutely love Life in Amed.

This was one of a few places we stayed at while in Amed. The staff was super friendly and hard working. The rest of the experience was lacklustre. I feel they charge too much of a premium to be ‘on the beach’ Aside from snorkeling the beach is unusable and crowded with fishing boats. The cottages need some upgrades. Wifi was very poor.

Very nice place with very nice staff, always smiling and helpful. Good restaurant and great pool, just 30 meters from the sea. Mary-Goepfert family.

My stay at Life in Amed was so special and healing - the space is serene, peaceful, and beautiful. The owner, Sarah, is lovely and caring - really takes great care of the guests and is flexible and accommodating. The staff are all incredible - professional, genuine, kind, and welcoming. I learned a lot about Balinese culture from them. I spent many mornings in the beautiful yoga shala overlooking the ocean and afternoons by the pool. There is also snorkeling right in the backyard. For the restaurant, there’s a lot of variety on the menu with both Balinese and western food. Also good vegan and vegetarian options with fresh and organic ingredients. My favorites were the tempeh salad and vegetable curry! I really couldn’t have asked for a more perfect time in Amed!

Life In Amed is one of the places that makes it possible to completely relax. Direct access to crystal clear waters, great food, cosy cottages, nice staff, we have stayed a few times and it's been great each time.

The place is amazing! Take no 7 and you will never regret - from the balcony there is an amazing view opening the horizon through the sea. Sunsets are so beutiful! One of the coziest places I lived in. And they serve delicious vegan and vegetarian food (as well as fish and meat) in a small cafe up there. Peaceful place to spend a week and more in heaven!

I love this place but the village has loud music and some dude toasting (mcing) until 10pm every night (ended up three nights, volley ball contest, but I'm informed they also have parties which is cool if that's what you want I guess). There's nothing they can do about it but it's a shame. However I repeat, this place is stunning
