Rooms are nice if you get the ones on the ocean front. And they're cheap at this time. But other than that, spend your money elsewhere. The staff all need retraining, and failing that, replaced. Room wasn't cleaned and when asked they said they sent a message asking and wasn't answered. When asked to see that message, they said it's been deleted. Never mind that WhatsApp shows when something has been deleted, of which there is none. Wife asked for water and towel and the guy just said huh and then went on a phone call, completely ignoring her. Oh and the water wasn't replaced, just told her she could go refill in the kitchen. Never mind that we paid the same amount every day for the stay. They would later say it's to reduce plastic, but then why give us an unopened plastic water bottle to begin with? Just use refillable glass bottles from the start. What a nonsense answer. Does that mean we've been drinking someone else's refilled and resealed plastic water bottles? Also not a single one of them so much as said a simple 'hi' during the entire time. That includes during the check in. I know times are tough, but you're running a hospitality business and a perfect view does not in any way make up for the bad service

Aquaterrace is my fave place to be. Love everything about it. Uber helpful staff and owner, fantastic view and pool and food! And easy access to Selang beach for Snorkeling

The view from the room is nice, you can see and hear the ocean from your room as well as nearby cars passing by and the music from a restaurant nearby. The breakfast was delicious, though we booked a room for three persons (2 adults, 1 kid), we had to pay extra for the breakfast for our daughter. The biggest disappointment was snorkeling experience arranged by the hotel staff. I asked for 44 size fin and was give 42 size. Once I tried to put it on the foot it broke. They made me pay for it 500k which I can hardly consider to be fair. Not even providing apologies for the unsuitable equipment. The experience itself was mediocre: the boat “driver” didn’t really care much about us and went smoking on the Amed beach.

The room is big and clean. The location is perfect for sunrise. Rent a motorbike to lighthouse. Perfect to see the most east of Bali island. Their american breakfast is tasty.

In love with this place!! The view is absolutely unbeatable. You can walk straight down to the beach from your villa. My favourite part would be waking up to the crashing waves, and getting a view of the sunrise and sunset from the sea. The staff was so helpful and kind. Every morning you’d see the fishermen bring back their catch, and it’s such a sight to see. We loved the rooms — simple but well-designed, and everything was clean. Fell in love with Amed even more because of this beautiful place!

Amed was one of our favourite locations in Bali. The views from Aqua Terrace are unreal (top floor room) - we loved them, having breakfast on the balcony watching the fishing boats come in was great! Bed was very comfortable, lovely shower, staff very nice and polite, very communicative on wats app (used to arrange everything, order breakfast etc.), breakfast yummy - make sure you ask for the extra toast on offer if having an American breakfast, it’s a bit more substantial, pancakes awesome. Free shuttles (by moped) to nearby beaches was handy. Although the pool was stunning we was put off by other guests having dogs (which were noisy and a bit territorial) around the pool. We grew to love our stay at Aqua Terrace, but at the outset when we arrived it was a bit unusual, the staff seemed a little stunned when we arrived, so we didn’t feel welcome, our experience throughout thankfully was the complete opposite with the staff. However, the female owner did not speak to us or acknowledge us throughout our stay (the male owner did) - this was strange when comparing to our many other stays throughout Bali. Aqua Terrace has been in Amed for sometime, our room was very clean, but it could do with touch ups - everything is white and the walls were quite grubby, white decor needs regular painting/maintenance.

We loved every minute! The staff is very friendly and professional. The room was super clean and the view from the terrace, the bathroom, the shower and the pool is astonishing!!! We also think, that the breakfast is really good and the portion size was perfect. The massage was amazing and the reef directly in front of the hotel is amazing.

We had a great time in the terrace room. The terrace offers a great ocean view all day around. The whole complex is a little bit greek style influenced which I personally really like. The pool is also very beautiful with ocean view and sky beds. The staff is really really friendly and the food is amazing. You definitely need to rent a scooter there to explore Bali. All in all a 100% recommendation!

Pros: The best part about staying here is the amazing view of the sea. You can catch the sunrise right from your balcony, if you're up early. The room size is decent and the balcony space is cozy. Cons: Lobby/reception service is a little slow as their records and processing seems to be done manually with paper. Be sure to keep the balcony door closed as there are lots of insects outdoors.

The Aqua terrance is lovely. The view is amazing no doubt. We booked in for a massage at "happy hour" which is 2 for 1. We arrived but got sent up the road to the other building which was very confusing. The massage room is lovely, very clean and the view is so beautiful. The massage oil they use is quality and lovely. But I have to say unfortunately the massage wasn't great. It felt very confusing. The therapist covers your whole body in oil first instead of working on certain sections and then covering you back up with the sarong. Some of the massage was ok, but some felt very rushed and definitely not therapeutic as it's incredibly light. The restaurant had lovely food and wine though, and the staff were all very friendly. I just can't recommend the massage at 250k.

I can only speak of the resultant. It’s in my opinion the best restaurant in Amed. Serves Japanese food and other amazing treats. Definitely check it out if you’re in Amed or wanting food that’s not your typical Amed food. Great sushi, even Spanish omelette. If I was living in Amed, I’d go there every day.

This place is exceptional! We came here last year also and love it. Great service, can hire snorkelling gear and host tell you just where to go. We had massage here and they give you 50% discount when you stayed here. Food is also excellent. Highly recommended! Amalfi Coast vibes!

Only went to the spa, but went 2 days in a row for the 2 hour ocean spray treatment. Massage, salt scrub etc. expertly done, amazing location and bought some of their lovely product on the way out. Must go!

The question is, what is there not to love at Aquaterrace? From the manager, staff, food, SPA, view, room ambience. I love everything! I stayed for 2 nights and didn’t have food anywhere else but room service. It was AMAZING! Oh, I didn’t even go anywhere else. The private beach they have a few stairs down the property was exactly what I needed ♥️

no wonder why they named this cottage @aquaterrace.amed cos oh myyy you’d literally have aqua as your terrace view 🌊 setting such low expectation for most of our trips especially to #amed #eastbali was the best interest in mind ever. this is such unforgettable first ocean-front resort experience for us 🥹♥️ what we LOVE: 1. clean & warm infinity pool with blu&green background 2. the 2-3 hours roadtrip was full of mesmerizing views 3. not too shabby/fancy facilities, just right for us 4. direct access to the beach. glad we brought our own swimming goggles cos the water is quite calming to go for not-so-far snorkling on our own 5. nutritious breakfast (included in our cottage booking bills) 6. amazing sunset view with all those decorative sailing boats 7. 50% cut off by-the-sea massage service 💆🏻‍♀️💆🏻 8. unbelievably tranquil & quiet as they only have total 4 rooms here 9. staff are nice and accommodating only small concerns: • there is no bidet on the toilet • there’ll be bugs there if you turn on the light in the evening • need to be very specific in giving remarks in room booking if you are expecting room with bath tub (1st floor only)

Had a really bad experience at this hotel. Booked for 2 nights and needed to change rooms in between. Because of that we could not do the excursion planned. Besides that: The swimming pool is way to hot and not clear. Not suitable to go here with children. Many stairs and the room was full with ants and other insects. We saw many good reviews and went there with high expectations. Don’t forget this is a 3 star hotel, in Bali that is 2 star level. Beside’s the complaining the view of the ocean was beautiful.

Its a great place to stay with a nice view. Breakfast is good and plenty of options to choose from. The shower however was a bit strange as it spat out two streams and wasn't very nice. The bodywash and shampoo they provided was top notch. I deduct one point as i found it quite sad that they made the staff scrub the floor by hand. Just get them a pressure washer for 1jt!

Totally agree with previous 1star reviews, and the main problem is staff - receptionist Made. The moment I arrived I felt not welcomed there.Thou I left tips and wasn't asking anything except water during my stay, Made didn't allow me to check out later (hotel was empty for the whole of my stay on the weekend, so doubt someone was coming on Monday specifically to that room). For the request to bring water I was redirected to the kitchen, and for some water I was eventually extra charged👌 Bad internet and noise from the street made this stay 1star. But main concern is Made who definitely should not be working in hospitality if he hates it so much

A long way from Denpasar, but this place is really worth it! Prices for services and food are reasonable

Beautiful place to stay. Room is spacious, amenities just enough and great, price is reasonable, breakfast also good nothing to complain about especially with the water view from the room

We had a blast while our stay here! Aquaterrace is recommended by our friend who always comes to this place whenever he comes to Amed. We totally understand why! The room is clean. The AC is working perfectly. Shower pressure is great. And the view is breathtaking! The massages were sooo good and relaxing. And the massage oil is very high quality that I don’t need to take a shower after massage and it smells sooo nice! We will definitely come back to Aquaterrace if we come to Amed again!

The view from the pool has to be one of the best in Amed. The rooms are great, the staff are attentive (without being too much!) - the breakfast is great, and they will help you out with whatever you need in town; bikes, snorkeling, food, etc. I definitely will stay again

Has two sections. We stayed in the higher part. Amazing views. Great food (his wife is Japanese). Arranges scooter for us, and lent us snorkel mask, inexpensive. Really beautiful. Minor gripe: kids bed was a bit hard.

👍👍 Review of the warung, not the accomodation. We ate at Warung Eneak twice while staying in Amed. We had excellent tuna steaks, nasi campur and - my absolute recommendation - the rendang sandwich. 👍👍 We came here with family and each got a villa. It was an incredible and memorable experience for us all. And we wish we didn't have to leave. The views of the hillside and water were breathtaking. 🫤 1 star for the sea view… 1 star for the friendly staff.. That’s it unfortunately. The quality of the hotel room was below average. Building or at least our room seemed not to be well maintained.
