This is a beautiful and peaceful villa on the beach. I loved it! You can hear the waves from your room and the sunrises and sunsets are stunning, especially from the rooftop patio where you can see Mt Agung on one side. You can snorkel about 10 meters straight from the beach. The staff is friendly and service oriented. They helped me find a sunset sail, a sunrise hike up Mt Batur, and other adventures. The owners happened to be present and they were generous in helping me solve an issue I was having. I loved the breakfast on the patio in front of my room and beside the pool. The main downsides were that the beach was more stony than sandy and like much of Indonesia the location was not pedestrian friendly. But I sat listening to the waves on the villa patio.

We loved our stay in Amed Beach Villa!! The location with the view on the volcano and beach is stunning. From early morning till sunset it is beautiful, from both the room / balcony as rooftop. The room is very spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was really big and comfortable and the table on the balcony perfect for breakfast. The staff is also very friendly and hospitable. They helped us to arrange a driver a few times who spoke very well English and drove very safe. We used the driver to just go to a Warung in the area but also to drive us to Ubud, which was our next stay and we were able to have a couple of nice stops on the way. We stayed here with a baby (9 months) and that was also very enjoyable. We also really liked the pool. It is not big but all you need, good temperature of the water and with a view on the beach. It is a small hotel with only 5 (?) rooms so the service is very personal and sufficient beds at the pool. We also went snorkeling in front of the hotel (right at the beach) which was beautiful, any colourful fish and we borrowed the snorkeling gear from the hotel. We really enjoyed the laid back vibe in Amed, the beautiful views, very friendly people and delicious food.

This was a return visit for us after eight years and the villa has changed a lot! The changes are excellent and we were really impressed with the rooftop viewing area. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool room, being able to step out of the room and enter the swimming pool straight away just felt special somehow. To view the pool and the sea beyond was so relaxing. The staff were fantastic and very helpful too. Actually, they went well beyond expectations when (upon returning after going to a different area) they discovered that I had become ill they started bringing me Ginger tea and even some oils for rubbing into the stomach to soothe the ache etc (I knew these products well and they work a treat if you have Bali Belly etc). Made, Ketut, Gede and Pak Nyoman really are fantastic. I had also been in contact with David who was simply a champion! There is plenty of stuff to borrow when you stay here, goggles, flippers etc etc. The live music from next door is really loud but is thankfully only two nights and finishes by 11pm. Watching the jakung (fishing boats) coming in to shore is also magic. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance too. You can comfortably park your scooter at the front and, with a bit of care you can also park a car. We will be back for sure.

We have just returned from a wonderful week long stay at Amed Beach Villas. This lovely beachside accommodation was everything we wanted ... very comfortable room, amazing views, convenient to dining, reliable Wi-Fi. It was really wonderful to be able to snorkel directly in front of the villa and then relax afterwards in the beautiful pool. The staff at the hotel were always available and happy to provide any amenities requested. We were especially fortunate to be there when the owner David was onsite as he was great fun to chat with and went out of his way to sort out (and collect) some medications for us. During our stay we went out twice with the villa driver ... a half day trip to visit the Lempuyang temple and Tirta Gangga water palace and another longer road trip to Ubud. He was eager to share his stories of the area and provided many opportunities for photographing the wonderful panoramic countryside views. Thank you so very much Amed Beach Villas ... we hope to visit again one day.

This was easily the best part of our stay in Bali, it was perfectly relaxed and easy going. One of the best features was that the reef begins right at the steps of the Villa, with slow currents that you could effortlessly drift along while exploring the sea life by snorkel. We stayed for six days and would have extended if we could. The sunsets and sunrises were incredible to watch from the rooftop or in the kayaks which are free for guests to use. Quality restaurants were walking distance (make sure you check reviews though) and the staff were very helpful, ask them for restaurant recommendations if you're not sure where is safe to eat. Live music was popular at Bobo's next door which we enjoyed once or twice.

Good place to stay, nice and comfortable, clean and modern. The only thing that could be better is the shower, the water stream is a little bit weak, however still manageable. Otherwise great view of the ocean, and located central to most activities!

Spent almost three weeks in Bali and happened on this place in my last three days there. Called all three number listed on the website without being able to get through. Ended up calling the Australia numbers and got through to Dave. He was awesome to work with to sort out the availability and details in getting to this place. Rented two rooms for three nights. Perfect beachfront location, especially for us as we rung in the new year with fireworks. The gentleman that was working the front desk for most of our stay, Gede, was especially helpful. Not just with the rooms but with suggestions for local eateries and amenities. Helped me in phoning some of the local restaurants with his personal cell when the numbers wouldn't work on my phone. Which worked out when the English was limited on the other end. Thanks again buddy. Unfortunately for us mother nature didn't cooperate and it rained quite a bit while we were there so the snorkeling wasn't possible. But that's the rainy season in Bali. The rooms are modern and clean. The staff extremely helpful. The third floor balcony has amazing views!! My only down side note was for transport to and from Amed. It's a two hour drive from Sanur/Denspasar and in my emails with Dave he estimated the cost at 450k IDR. To the resort I was asked for 500k IDR and back to Denpasar I was asked for 600K IDR. Not a major problem, but worth mentioning. When my path runs over Bali again I'll definitely be staying here.

The service was unbelievable here! Made was the one we interacted with the most and she was incredibly sweet. She helped us with a number of things and always walked us to the door to see us off on our adventures. The location of this villa was perfect. We were able to walk out and snorkle in the ocean every day at least once. And the walk to other restaurants was so easy. If you get a chance, go to the warung right next door. It was the best and most affordable dinner I'd had the whole trip. Fresh squid with garlic butter😋 Breakfast was served each morning on the patio with a number of yummy options which included a fruit plate (or smoothie) and we were always given bottled water everyday. There is a beach bar next door that played music every night and would get busy right before 6pm. The music wasn't offensively loud but we were told that it would be on Monday night as there is a live band that plays then. We decided to check out and head to Gili T to avoid it. The only notable thing is the glassware wasn't particularly clean and the towels were a bit dated. Nothing that would stop me from staying here again.

Place is brutally loud. From endless roosters to hours of extremely loud bad cover bands. Bring your ear plugs.

From the owner - David - to the every member of the staff, just amazing hospitality! Everyone was incredibly polite and caring. The room was spacious, the A/C worked great, the lighting was perfect. The shower (hot rain shower) and bathroom was awesome! The outdoor sitting area, with panoramic views of the ocean and volcano and the general surrounding scenery is just breathtaking!

3 star place what the hell are you kidding??! not sure what it takes to be a 4 or 5 star then, this place is fancy and amazing. i could say a more comfortable pillow exists but so effing what?! the visuals are stunning, the view from the deck, stunning, the gear you can use that you would pay for anywhere else. yep, i liked it.

Worst hospitality ever! We wanted to stay here actually. But then we definitely never ever want to stay at your place. Once we arrived at the parking area, a girl staff just came out and asked what she could help. I asked if you have an available room. She said “we are fully booked today.” I said for tomorrow not today, and then I’ve got a surprise answer from her. She said “you can go to ***** (I forgot which hotel she said), it’s CHEAPER THAN HERE.” I mean like, seriously???!! You think I can’t afford your villa?? How dare you. You better learn more how to work in the hospitality industry! Thanks.

This place is so nice, the room is great, the food is great, and the caretaker are very helpful. It's location is perfect also the beach is just right behind it. There are also a lot of diving/snorkeling agents around the area. The rooftop is also pretty nice.

Beautiful little villa. Rooms are well appointed, clean and tidy. Great spot to relax. The snorkeling straight off the beach is great. Plenty of coral and an array of beautiful fish

👍👍 Review of the warung, not the accomodation. We ate at Warung Eneak twice while staying in Amed. We had excellent tuna steaks, nasi campur and - my absolute recommendation - the rendang sandwich. Staff is attentive and friendly, prices okay in regard that they have their own organic garden and try to...

🫤 1 star for the sea view… 1 star for the friendly staff.. That’s it unfortunately. The quality of the hotel room was below average. Building or at least our room seemed not to be well maintained.
