I had bad experience stayed here. The room is just ok. I order omelet for breakfast, and the egg was weird cooked (dont know what they mean by omelette). The service really bad, check out time is 12pm but one of the staff was standing in front of the room before 12pm and staring inside when I was packing, she was right standing there for 20 minutes. After that I went to restaurants for having lunch. I order orange juice (they said it fresh juice but actually I noticed it was not real orange, they gave me sachets drink with orange flavor).

This is the best hotel around Amed, it's clean, has nice pool and very friendly staff. There is a coral reef just in front of the hotel beach where you can snorkel for hours. The place is quiet and has only 5-6 rooms overall. You'll definitely enjoy it.

A remote resort perfect if you don’t want to get bugged like in ubud and just to chill sleep with hearing splashing waves sound which is relaxing. Food wise is tasted good however need to bring own amenities

The best place in Amed. Super nice and friendly staff, good food and the best thing is: its possible to have your own pool. Also it is one of the best places for snorkeling. Rooms are clean and comfortable bed to sleep. Love this place👍👍👍

Amed is a fishing village in Bali and a very quiet place to stay if you want peace and seclusion. We stayed in the beach front villas in the Palm Garden Beach and Spa Resort and they couldn't be faulted, superb location, fabulous rooms and the joy of watching the fishing boats leave early every morning was perfect as it was only 50 meters from our deck.

An oasis and amazing find!! Spotless marble floors, great view and pool. The staff are dressed and treat you with real old fashion customs of Indonesia! A short distance from the bustle of Amed diving area worth the stay. Only Stubbs I were roosters and scooter noise.

Don't go room num. 4,5 and, 1,2,3. Someone can see you when you take shower. Lots of bird's poo will be all around your balcony room num. 4, 5 in the morning. If you have any complain, you'll see the most childish, rude manner in Amed. No owner...no responsibility. What front desk staff told me like below. 'There're no owner and, never can touch so, you can't do any complain to anyone.' 'I don't care, somebody's watching me when I take shower.' 'I will ask, if they were watching you when you take shower so.. what else can I do?' 'Normally, room num.5 and, 4 balconies are covered with poo in the morning.' 'You just told me clean the poo on the beds not chairs and, floor so, I didn't clean up.' 'I can sit on the dirty chairs(still covered birds poo)' 'See me, how to sit(she really sat on the chair) so, what's wrong?' 'What I didn't do to the guests isn't my duty and, there's nothing to be sorry about.' 'If you don't like this all happening, why did you check in?' FYI...Room number is 1,2,3 are the just tiny rooms just next door from front desk. It costs 800,000rp but, you can book much spacious and, new ones around beach front hotels. Amed has lots of valuable beach front hotels and, friendly ibu but, not this hotel.

Nice breakfast. Nice bungalow. Uninspiring beach but easy to rent a bike. Just a hill from the wreck! But a long way from Jemeluk. The rather close restaurant Sail is highly recommended. Choose a fish dish! A new hotel is merging on the other side of the road of this hotel... they can see you in the outdoor bathroom doing your thing. And the shades are not shading out to other guests. So be prepared to flash it all. That's why I give this hotel a 4/5

Dont recommend this place. They let you book and pay online, and when you arrive, first thing they tell you is that there are noise in the morning from fishermans. (Which we could live with) We now witnessed all day long, that the noise is there constantly. Rooms are isolated very poorly, and you can hear motorbikes, roosters, stray dogs etc. all night long. Really not the relaxing stay we wished for - and stayed 5 night with no possibility to cancel booking, or just the half of the booking after our first night (We pay 2 nights and get refunded 2 nights). The place was clean and beautiful, but the noise was killing us. Had 5 nights of poor / no sleep, and spend our first day in Ubud sleeping all day long… DONT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO RELAX!!

Don’t go here if you want a good night sleep!!! We have booked 5 nights, because we want to relax in Amed after traveling around in Bali and Islands. We booked this hotel because it seemed like the perfect spot. The staff is nice and the food is good, BUT the Walls are PAPER THIN. You can here everything ALL the time. Scooters, dogs, people etc. It’s not the noice it self or the location, it’s that we can here it like the scooter is in our room! The isolation is non excisting!! When we tried to talk to the manager, he got an bad attitude more than trying to understand and help us during our stay. We asked if we could get another room (and this is also because of bad aircondition and a shower that didn’t work properly), but only if we paid for upgrade. We have been here for 2 nights out of 5. We are considering finding another hotel even though we’ll end up loose a lot of money. That’s sad and kind of depressing spending the last days of our vacation like that. I gave this hotel 1 star considering the nice staff and the good food, because you Can’t enjoy good things when you feel like a zombie. And most important: it’s difficult to make every costumer happy and we know that, and we are in general pretty large during our stay in Bali the last month - but when you as a manager don’t even try to understand our situation and just get’s a bad attitude, that’s when I loose a lot. It’s not the problem it self, it’s the way you react to the problem, and that’s why I only give 1 star.

Palm Garden Amed Beach & Spa Resort is a Boutique Hotel that stands out in Amed. It is located at the end of the village on a beautiful black sandy beach. Local fishermen keep their boats and once can watch them go by their daily chores. Snorkelling is just a few meters away. The food is tasty and not your average hotel food. You will even get some original Swiss recipes that you must try! Highly recommended.

We loved it there. It was a relaxing place to stay. The owners were there while we visited and they paid attention to all the details. Too bad that the coral in front has been so badly destroyed by the fishermen's boats.

Not very accommodating or solution oriented with customer inquiries.

Calm, Small, Clean, a decent Nice furniture, great bead, a swiss quality hotel. Great for Couples. Take 1st Floor Ocean Front if possible. There is a bit of fisherman leaving to fish and return in the morning..... (Picky people would consider this noisey) i loved to what the native Balinese fishermen.

Hidden in the nape of the hills and kissing the shoreline, this resort is perfect for a private getaway. Wake up and head straight out for the sea with your snorkel gear for a mind-blowing experience. More importantly the owner and staff are warm and friendly.

Beautiful clean resort. Nice staff and restaurant. Expensive laundry service although this price may be normal for Bali. They gave us a room upgrade to ocean view room which was lovely! Nice and quiet area, great for sleeping in. Gentle bird sounds in the morning, very peaceful area.

So we had an eventful stay with Palm becos it was actually an adult only hotel but I had made a wrongful booking with Agoda. Hope that hotel is able to make the adults only part more obvious in booking platforms. But they are soooo kind as to let us stay, and in return we never used the pool preferring to let child use the beach in front of hotel which is public space. The bfasts were tbh generous and we always overeat. The BEST part of the hotel is the reef… I saw more fishes here than the busy bays of Jemuluk… and the corals were such big ones structures and super close to beach too. Oh I wish they open for kids cos we wld love to go back and stay… thank you anyways for accommodating us despite the risks u had to undertake!
