I hosted my birthday at Kelapa Cottage on March 4 - 6, 2022 with 9 of my friends and we really enjoyed our stay. We felt extremely welcomed by the owners as they were very hands-on during the seamless check-in process and throughout the duration of our stay. Most of us stayed in the Family Cottages which were very charming and everyone commented on how they had such an amazing sleep because of the blackout curtains and comfortable beds. The bathrooms had lots of natural sunlight and most importantly CLEAN! The location is great and surrounded by many restaurants. Super quiet bungalows surrounded by the sweet sound of nature. The water jug in each room was a nice touch. Lastly, the spa was a real treat. I rec'd a 75-minute massage which was unreal. The lady that worked on my body has magic hands! My friends got the body scrub, aloe vera facial, and a foot massage which they were very happy with. Id be happy to stay at Kelapa Cottage again and Id 100% recommend this spot to my friends in the future. Thanks for making this a special birthday. I'm really happy I ended up booking my stay with you guys. With Love, Shanice

I’ve lived in Bali for 9 months so far, and have lived in many different areas.. but this place is by far the best yet!!! The location, the privacy, the views, the food, and the extraordinary staff and owners are exactly what I’ve been looking for! If you come to Amed to visit, I highly recommend this exquisitely beautiful property!!!

Nestled in the very green and calm area of Amed Kelapa cottage is the place where you gonna find an amazing treatment. Their hospitality will make you feel relaxed and very welcoming. Also highly recommend their spa. We had an amazing Japanese massage there. The ladies were very professional. At the end of the massage we were served the most delicious ginger tea, and before that we were greeted by a refreshing cup of jamu. Little complimentary gestures by the spa place that made a great add to our treatment. Thank you!

Kelapa Cottage is nicely hidden away from main road of Amed, beautiful Lumbung bungalows amongst well kept garden. If you are looking for good massage and other treatments, this is your spot!!! Well trained professional massage therapists make sure that when you walk out from this place you feel heavenly good.

Location is little bit remote so quiet but requires 20/30 min walk to reach any restaurant in Amed Cottage was ok but bathroom was worn : for instance toilet lid was dirty Service was nice and smiling Restaurant was extra expensive : twice the cost of every meal in Amed « warung ».

Very nice and tranquil place. Lovely staff. The spa is good and very quiet, and the masseuses were knowledgeable, I had 2 different treatments with good result, and managed to get rid of my back pain. I recommend the Javanese massage if you want to address something like that. The pool and restaurant also nice. The road to get there is in a quite bad state (but it's a short ride), so take care driving.

My favorite hotel in Bali! Stayed here for 4 nights and it was really hard to leave. This hotel is so relaxing and calm, everything is perfect and all staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also great with a lot of options and a freshly squeezed juice. The hotel also offers yoga classes and a spa which is great - I did the Javanese massage 2 times during my stay and it was perfect. I can't recommend this place enough if you are looking for a place to relax in Amed! The only drawback is that the road leading to the hotel is not the best and very dark at night so you'd be better off with a scooter.

We stayed at Kelapa a couple of days. Really liked the hospitality of the owner and the staff overall. Room is very spacious and the garden is beautiful. The little restaurant can cook local dishes if you ask for. Both mom and I tried the massage and found it very relaxing.

A group of us stayed for two nights over a long weekend. We decided to book this over multiple other options, because of the lush garden, and because the owner was highly responsive. This small resort is tucked in a quaint and green local Kampung, 3 minutes drive off the main streets of Amed. The grounds are well kept and lush, with a stunning view of t Amed hills. Great if you are after a quiet respite, instead of the busy bustle of the beachside. The owners are good hosts, they suggest a massage and offered us a room upgrade. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, warm genuine Balinese hospitality. Don’t miss the spa massage, as it was beyond good, and the breakfast spread was excellent too. Only two downsides of the place, was the pool was cloudy and uninviting, which was a shame on a hot day, but that could have been due to the many rooms occupied and guests jumping in with sunscreen. Another was the neighbors rooster, if you are a light sleeper, avoid the room closest to the entrance.

I did my yoga teacher training with Trimurti yoga at Kelapa Cottage and it was just beautiful! All employees are exceptionally nice and super helpful, the food is always freshly cooked, creative and tasty. The amenities are clean. I’d recommend it to everyone!

Reasonable price for a cottage. I had deep sleep like a baby, room is so comfy. Love the yoga shala in their backyard, but need to clean it more often so it doesn’t look like abandoned. Good service, good location. Thank you

I cannot judge the rooms, only the spa. I had a massage there and money was stolen.from my bag during the massage. I had counted the money just before getting there to make sure I had enough for my friend and I. Quite shocking!

I spent 3 weeks in the Kelapa Cottage during my Yoga Teacher Training. This time is intense - and everything about Kelapa Cottage made this time even more incredible! Everyone you met greeted you with a warm and welcoming smile, the food was delicious and we could make wishes what was on the menu, the laundry service was quick and thorough, the massages were heavenly and the gardens were simply beautiful! It is a little oasis and in 10 - 15 minutes you can walk into town and be on the beach. I can definitely recommend a stay, the staff and place is amazing - thank you!

Fantastic! This place has a super cool vibe. It’s off the Main Street, is quiet and has lots to offer. We rented mopeds, got our laundry done and used their spa/massage service. There is even a yoga studio in the back. Our kids loved the pool, and the cottages were perfect. The loft area was great for the kids and the open air bathroom was well done. Highly recommend this spot.

Kelapa Cottage is a really beautiful oasis in Amed. It’s nestled on a side road that crosses the main road, tucked in the jungle, but still really close to shops and restaurants. It has everything from yoga shala to a pool and the staff are just amazing. The kitchen team makes delicious veggie food and the girls at the spa give amazing massages! Loved my stay will def be back :)

One of the most favorite places I have stayed in Bali and would love to come back to. Beautiful spacious villas and rooms with spacious outdoor showers and bathrooms. Rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished giving the hole place a homely and comfy atmosphere sourrounded by well kept garden. Free access to a lovely yoga Shala in the back. The location is great as it isfar enough the main road to be tucked away from the busy main road but close enough to access everything in Amed. Many many thanks to the lovely owners Mario and Nelvi for being so helpful, caring and welcoming.

A piece of paradise in Amed Just spent a week at the Kepala Cottage with my girlfriend and the place was a true paradise, beyond all expectations! Cozy bungalows, super friendly staff, delicious healthy food, a swimming pool surrounded by a lush garden with trees, flowers, beautiful statues and burning incenses making an amazing spiritual atmosphere, a yoga shala, a spa with high quality massage and to top it off the owners are always around checking to see if everything is running smooth. Strongly recommend. Terimakasih banyak Mario and everyone at Kepala Cottage! Can’t wait to go back!

Kepalas cottages is an absolute GEM of a place to stay in Amed. I will never stay anywhere else when visiting Amed. Highly highly recommend. It is a beautiful Oasis hidden off the Main Street about 3 minutes to the beach back in the Jungle at the base of a beautiful mountain you can hike. Very quiet. There is a spa with the best massages as well as a Yoga Shala and amazing pool and restaurant. The food is top notch, with a buffet style organic and homemade breakfast every morning. More than anything the STAFF is the most helpful I have experienced in all of Bali. Always available and on top of things before you can even ask! The owners are also around and make you feel like family! All the cottages are beautiful and really bring the Balinese culture into your life and experience on a high and beautiful level! And even cooler, there are pet rabbits that hang out on the grounds and come to see you from time to time! Absolutely LOVE Kelapas and have big thanks for them and every time I stay there. This is FAMILY and the way a visit should be! Thank you Kelapas, I will be back!

Beautiful, calm and quite place; staff is super generous, sweet and lovely; the food is amazing (especially the energy balls 🙌); the pool and the rooms (except for some huge spider encounters) are super clean. I would come back to this place

My stay in Kelapa Cottage was great. The rooms are extremely clean and spacious. The staff are exceptional, catering for every need. The food was amazing. I could not have enjoyed it more. My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer!!

Our stay at Kelapa Cottage was fantastic, very close walk to the beach and right in the middle of the beautiful nature. The resort and the room was extremely well maintained and clean with all of the staff being really hospitable and friendly. When we got there we were immediately upgraded to the larger family room for no extra cost which was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning bathroom! We were also given some welcome drinks to help us settle in. Yoghi and Andy helped us through our stay and went above and beyond with everything they did. Not only did they aid in organising an airport pick up, but also personally took us to exchange money when we arrived. The owner Mario and his wife were just as friendly, open for a chat and ensured our stay was amazing. We also planned for a massage at the on site spa and revived an excellent treatment for a great price! Also with our stay came a buffet style breakfast with on demand pancakes and omelettes, all of which was absolutely delicious! Lunch, dinner and drinks were also available (including pasta and pizza) all home cooked! We couldn’t recommend this place more to anyone wanting to stay in Amed, overall everything was nothing short of amazing without a single complaint!! Easily an 11/10 stay, wish we were there longer!

The place is pretty good, we only had breakfast at the cottage, which was okay but the juices are not good not recommended. Except that the rooms are pretty specious, with and open ruff shower. Staff is friendly. What I really like about this place is the massage parlour, they really know the pressure points. Must try. Over all good experience.

Fantastic! Kelapa cottage was everything we could have hoped for in Bali. The Cottages are beautiful and traditional. The gardens and pool perfect for relaxing. The on site spa is very reasonable and all the staff we met were friendly, positive and patient with our terrible Indonesian. Whenever we head back to Amed, we will be staying here!

Kelapa Cottage is a lovely oasis in Amed. Just a 10-15 min walk from the ocean and situated in so much green beauty. The staff is so friendly and rooms always clean and tidy. I’ve been here for 3 weeks and they really made me feel at home. They have a lovely yoga shala, spa area (massage was so nice) and two cute bunnies hanging around 😌

👍👍 Review of the warung, not the accomodation. We ate at Warung Eneak twice while staying in Amed. We had excellent tuna steaks, nasi campur and - my absolute recommendation - the rendang sandwich.
