Coral view villas and hidden paradise cottages are the same company. We stayed at hidden paradise cottages but there is no service food and beverage service for that reason they sent us to here that we tried our first lunch here. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was avarage. Coral view villas has sandy beach and has no Coral but if you stay hidden paradise cottages you can directly swim in the corals or opposite edge of the lipah beach also has good corals (vienna beach resort). There are too much fishermans boat just front of the hotel i have to say.

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely 3 night break here... we live in Bali permanently, but always come to this resort for a relaxing break away from busy South Bali a couple of times a year.... the garden is so beautiful, lovely relaxing pool and can snorkel in the sea... some really delicious restaurants nearby as well..m

This is my second time's staycation at Coral View Villa. Awesome area to stay in Amed, very close to the beach. Well, basically is at the shoreline. You can easily go for snorkeling around the beach villa, they have beautiful garden. Little advice, to stay the family type villa is beachfront and less noise from the road. But this worth of money to spend.

Iโ€™m not sure what the last reviewer thought he was gettingโ€ฆ but I donโ€™t think the hotel deserves the poor rating he gave it. Our room (while old) was rustic and reasonably clean given its age. The staff were all friendly and helpful and communication was never an issue. Everyone spoke English so even if your Bahasa Indonesia is so-so I imagine your stay would be fine. The hotel grounds were lovingly tended to. They grow vegetables all around the grounds. On the beach front there are coral reefs to the left side and right side of the shore. Right in front of the hotel there is a resident turtle that we saw and snorkeled with every day. The hotel restaurant is more expensive than the many warungs outside on the street but the fish is fresh and the food was palatable. I would however recommend you not stay at the room closest to the left side (room 15) as there is an area on the edge of the property where the fisherman park their motos and run a winch to pull the fishing boats in at night. The noise is finished by about 7pm though so it is loud but sporadic.

Hotel from hell! Stay away! We left here with bed bugs on honeymoon , with no discount offered on top of zero sleep due to constant dogs barking on the beach, mice noises in the ceiling and boats arriving and leaving early morning. Worst experience Iโ€™ve ever had and this had been my third time to Bali and Amed.

I was on a road trip so I only stayed two nights but could easily have stayed longer. Beautiful place with well maintained gardens. Right on Amed Beach. Amed is the closest to old Bali that I have found so it was a delight being here and I will return. Warung Agung Amed has great food and is a short walk. Coral View was not serving (except guestsโ€™ breakfast) โ€” Times of Pandemic. The beach is awesome with killer sunrise views. Prahus (fishing boats) line the shore and go out twice a day, 4-5 in the evening and 12 hours later in the early morning. They return 4-5 hours later. Good AC, large beautiful bathrooms, and comfortable beds. And a great pool. Showers near the beach, Easy off street parking. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Worst hotel I have been in Bali) I have rent family villa in front of see. First: they donโ€™t even have hot water in rooms. Second: When we rent the room we discuss that we will have breakfast but in the morning they told that restaurant is closed and breakfast didnโ€™t include)) so donโ€™t even think to stop here. Also rooms was dirtyโ€ฆ terrible villas)

Lovely people who run it! Super communication. Rooms are not as nice as pictures. The worst thing was the noise, it is very noisy from boat winches.

This is my second visit. If you want to stay in a beachfront villa, this is the place. You can enjoy sunrise without blocking from their breakfast area. If you want to enjoy the sunset, just book a sunset sailing trip. The beach is not a private beach, so you will meet the fisherman, the villager, or people who's trying to offer you trip, etc. I'm okay with that, but I know that some people don't feel comfortable with that situation. Breakfast is good, plenty of options. toast (pineapple jam, peanut butter, honey, palm sugar), nasi goreng (fried rice), Pisang goreng (fried banana), muesli, fruit platter. Each guest could choose between eggs or pancakes (banana/pineapple). The room is nice, especially the bathroom area. Seems they had just retouched the bathroom and it is beautiful. The pool was under maintenance when I came. They just finished the maintenance on my last day there.

We spent two days at this hotel. We had an emergency situation, which was our fault, while we were there. Despite that, the hotel owner, Liam, helped us, explored solution options, consulted with people who had similar experiences. He spent several hours with us, providing moral support until the situation normalized. Highly recommend this place, if not for anything else, for the people! Very grateful that we weren't left alone in a difficult situation! Additionally, the place has a very pleasant area, charming rooms, and a beautiful bathroom. The rooms are equipped with a refrigerator, kettle, coffee/tea facilities, and air conditioning. Everything was clean and tidy.

Lovely hotel with great views if you get one of the two storey villas at the beach front but in need of a refurb soon. Beautiful outdoor bathrooms and the staff were able to organise a doctor for me within 15 minutes. Will be visiting again.

Overall a beautiful location but the bungalows are showing their age and the cleanliness of the rooms were not great. Breakfast was disappointing compared to all other 3-star places we stayed on in Bali.

Perfect Paradise. A beautiful hidden oasis of peace and tranquillity. Immaculate villas set in perfect gardens within easy stepping distance of the pool and the beach. Beautifully run restaurant with wonderful staff and delicious food. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful. We will be back.

Loved this place. It's so tranquil, beautiful and hidden away from the crowds. The food at the restaurant is simply amazing. Simple meals, made with fresh ingredients which are just simply delicious. This place has amazing snorkeling just off the beach, the fish diversity is fantastic. We met a local guy who took us out to the Japanese shipwreck, he was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area as well. It's really a hidden gem.

Our cottage was very Nice. Good bed, enough room, fine shower. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good. We've also had nice lunch and diner with view on the beach. In the morning you van see the fisherman comming back with a lot of fish.

Loved the whole place. Staff could do a bit more in terms of food & little articles of convenience for guests arriving late in the evening. The whole village is dead by 10 & after a 3 hour drive to reach the hotel it's not pleasant to go to sleep hungry. The pool is delightful, access to the beach was very convenient, hiring a boat or snorkeling gear is very easy, eateries near by.. Try the Warung Indah, we had the best meals there. Its right on the beach, next door to the hotel.

We had a great stay there! The food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff really welcoming, they were very helpful with our 9 months old baby. The garden is well looked after with beautiful plants. Great snorkelling at the front of the hotel. Would recommend and also come back!

Stayed there for two nights. The room is ok with the big bathroom and nice terrace. Also quiet considering that it is close to the street. It has direct access to the beach. The breakfast is standard, and the staff are really friendly. For 3 stars hotel this is definitely good.
