Hotel

πŸ‘ The hotel itself is pretty nice. The standard rooms are cheaper because they don't have AC but you really don't need it there it doesn't get too hot. The rooms were nice though. The bathrooms get stinky which is typical of Indonesian plumbing. The pool is small but very nice if no one else is in it.... People often mention room, rooms, pool, beach, water, nice, breakfast, great, stay, time,

The hotel itself is pretty nice. The standard rooms are cheaper because they don't have AC but you really don't need it there it doesn't get too hot. The rooms were nice though. The bathrooms get stinky which is typical of Indonesian plumbing. The pool is small but very nice if no one else is in it. The staff is absolutely terrible. The owner has about six 14 yr old girls working there and they couldn't be less helpful. When we checked in they didn't tell us there was a pool, they didn't tell us there was breakfast included, and they didn't tell us there was wifi. None of them spoke a lick of English and they all just stared blankly at me every time I came to ask them a question. They all just sit at the desk on their phones all day long and then act like you're bothering them if you need anything. The wifi only works downstairs. Again, the place is nice enough but I don't know why these kids are working there because they couldn't be worse at their jobs.

Stayed for two nights in a Budget Double room during New Year period. The room was very well-priced at IDR 130,000 per night and was somewhat better than you would expect for that price. Decent bed, though a little thin on top; clean sheets if with some minor stains; and a banana pancake or french toast breakfast with coffee included. The room was a little musty after a shower – the shower itself is less of a shower and more of an elevated tap. An extractor fan in the ceiling would make a huge difference to the heat trapping and airflow. Other rooms here had AC and beach frontage, so there is a great mix of quality within this hotel for you to choose from. I considered moving to a room with AC for the second night, but instead opted to keep it cheap. There is a very small pool which is great for cooling off, and sun loungers fronting onto the beach with a view of Mt Agung to the west. Amen itself is a very pretty little town, far less busy than other parts of Bali and with good amenities, but still noisy during holidays. All in all, though, no complaints. The manager is friendly enough and helpful with tips on where to go, but they mostly leave you to yourself (which I myself appreciated sice I was lookig for a quiet vacation away from the main centers). Very affordable and great value for money. An extractor fan and better shower would have attained five stars.

I enjoyed my stay at Bali Yogi to the maximum, for the price the room was clean and comfortable, the stuff working here and the owner are simply amazing, they’re all super friendly and keen to answer all your question and assists with anything you might need. I’ve lived in Bali for long time but this place made my time in Amed purely blissful. They have two types of rooms: budget and deluxe, the former being equipped with all standard facilities but without ocean view and AC or hot water, the latter has ocean, pool and garden view which is STUNNING, hot water and AC so choose one according to your needs and budget but either way you will not be disappointed, I will be coming back with no doubt!

Great location, nice view from the balcony, modern, clean rooms, reasonable price but there were so many small issues.. The water pressure only comes on if the water is turned on very quick, the door lock was held together with a red ribbon, the balcony doors were twisted, the bean bags were moldy, the bathroom door didn't close right, the toilet seat was wobbly, the walls were hot when the sun was out, the AC stopped working randonmly and most rooms had some degree of a mold problem. Despite the many little problems I enjoyed my stay.

Couldn't recommend more, the rooms were not dirty at all (previous reviews from a long time ago mentioned this). Lovely hosts, location was amazing and for the price is incredible. Please stay here!

Overall it’s really cheap place with sea view rooms. Stayed here for 5 nights. It has some dirty stiff. Sometimes no water at all. It could be a problem for people who expect hotel service. But overall I enjoyed my stay here. Simple ascetism with sea view. Really love to see sunrises and sunsets from that place.

OMG! Ok so this may be a little long but read to the end.... I was greeted by Yogi shown my room and offered a very reasonable price. I got my room ... aircon and hot water. Note.... its not fancy but it is clean and they are always improving the property. Such good value for money. Massive room and bed with my own bathroom. This place is not fancy but has all that you need. A great location. Flat property. On the beach. Got a pool. Included breakfast.Wifi. Rooftop Bar. If you have tighter budget then get the rooms with no aircon and hot water for less per night. Prices might vary due to season. There were local guys jamming music in the bar. Drink prices were great and I can recommend the Arak Mojito :) 12 steps to the pool and 25 steps to the water..... best spot in Amed for me. Only found it this trip and am coming back here!

Pretty bad experience in general. People at the front desk lied to us on departure time of the boat and rush us to take a 1hr drive to the other port. Ended up waiting for an extra 3hrs while we could have relax and take it easy before going anywhere. The room was extremely dirty, dead bugs everywhere on the shower floor, mirror and wall very dirty, stain bed sheets, very extreme humidity smell all over the room, back of the bed broken with mold coming out, poor breakfast etc.. I would definitely not recommend this place.

When I arrived the receptionist wasn't really welcomed. She showed me the room and it looked pretty decent at first sight. But unfortunately everything was in a bad condition... you can't really close the door. The AC doesn't really work. I really don't want to mention the restroom..... Well the room was pretty cheap and was close to my dive Center. But I can't recommend it for someone who wants a good experience.

I stay here for 3 days, 2 night for only IDR 420,000. Very affordable and enough for me to look for the place to sleep. With this price I already got bread, coffee and fruit slice for breakfast. Do not expect grande breakfast, its enough to make you full and ready to snorkling or diving.

Relaxing place to stay. The staff is really friendly and nice. The room is super comfy and they also have a swimming pool overlooking the beach. I recommend experiencing sunrise as it is breathtaking. You can also see the Agung volcano on the left side of the beach. Very affordable guesthouse and a great, peaceful atmosphere.

Good location. Better if you have a room facing the sea. The reception was an actual waterfall. Believe me when I say that. They didn't close it either so the water ran through the roof continuously. This also reached our room. I was so sick I didn't care and I was used to Bali standard. There was a big worm crawling up the bathroom wall but again these things are pretty normal there. Not really any people about in December so those who came went quick. You can take a long walk up to the beach at end right that has the best snorkling. Best thing there if not diving. Pool was ok but I didn't go in. Didn't look that inviting . But nice to photograph as it was in front of the sea. Wi-Fi didn't reach rooms well so you had to go to the dining room. They let us use the pic then area to cook our own eggs but you see how unclean everything is. The butter they use to cook with didn't melt in the heat and stays out all day. Breakfast was very basic. Piece of toast and coffee or their version of a pancake. Friendly enough people. Scooter rental at door .

Good value for money! The budget rooms are dated and need a fresh paint all over. No shower head made showering a bit Spartan but did the job. It felt like the place needs a bit more love from the owners to be honest. Location is superb, right on a nice and clean beach, pool is ok. Great central location for diving BTW. Indomaret 5 mins walk and lots of food options around. We extended to 5 nights in total and will be back.

Perfect valu for money place! We took a simple twin bed with fan. It was very standard but also very affordable like 130K for the room as you also got the breakfast included. We didn't take the time to enjoy the pool but your should !

Great stay right on the beach with a lovely pool area overlooking the beach. Rooms are basic but spacious enough with private bathroom. We had the villa overlooking the pool. Very quiet so get a good nights sleep. Breakfast was basic of toast or pancake with tea or coffee. Would definately recommend.
