My wife and I stayed at Ocean Resort for a week. The place is pretty spartan, but it is very clean, the staff was great and the pool and other amenities met our needs. We would go back and we would highly recommend Ocean Resort to others. A comment was made about having termites. That would be virtually impossible as this hotel is almost 100% concrete. The best hotel if you are looking for a quiet place to stay with a great view! Location: - beach access - you can hear sea sound - sunrise from the beach - parking - few cafes nearby - can’t hear the noise from the road Best option to book in advance 13/14 room (4th floor) Yep, the hotel quite old, but compare to prices it’s have everything what you need: - ac working good - hot water - fresh towels - wifi fast (which is good) - pool - terrace - breakfast included - fridge - early check in is possible What to know before booking: -without ac it can be/feels wet inside of the room - smoking allowed on the terrace (close your doors) - they have bath but it’s not a bath - for ladies I recommend to bring your own shampoo - they don’t provide water in the room - you can extend your room downstairs Good choice if you travel solo/couple Stay for few nights For people who are looking quite vacation and meditate on sea sounds

We enjoyed our stay here. We actually extended our stay, because it’s hard to leave the place like this. The view from the room is gorgeous. You can go down to the beach and see the sunrise. The pool is very nice and clean. Breakfast is good. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Recommend this place.

Stayed here for a week in a room near the pool. Rooms are new but they can be maintained better. We had termite problem in the bathroom. Wifi is patchy. Shows good speed initially but crawls to a halt every few minutes. Staff wasn't super helpful and can do better.

Stayed for two nights, the unblocked sea view was stunning for the price we paid. Hotel room is a bit run-down, well-used, with cracking wall paint, a large crack on the glass door, not super clean with some stains here and there in the bathroom toilet, but consider clean based on local hotel standard. The swimming pools are really nice, big and facing the sea, aside the sea view, the pools are another highlights of this hotel. Service wise, staff were not very attentive. No trash bin in the room, no drinking cups and no kettle. Water dispenser located in the reception area only dispense cold water. If you want to make a hot tea, you got to go the restaurant and get them boil for you. For the price and view, still worth it to stay here.

Good hotel to stay for the price, tap in bathroom needs fixing and 2 bottles of water in the room too would be nice along with tea or coffee facilities.

Lovely spot. Has 2-3 cascading pools with a beach front restaurant. The food is good and the service is fantastic. I rented a bike for a day from them and ate at their restaurant often. Rooms have great views of the pools / ocean. Lots of space to lounge in the sun. Rooms are fairly minimal, but well kept. Price is totally reasonable for the location and quality. Highly recommend (Also it looks like they’re expanding into the neighbouring property so should be getting larger in a few months / year)

It is a beautiful place to stay on the beachfront. The location is very accessible as it's just a short distance from the road. The room was clean but needed some touch up work. Some parts of the paint on the wall were chipping off and the plug in the bath needed sealing, which meant it would not fill. There was also a slight smell from the bathroom, probably due to not having any windows or extractor fans. Otherwise quite a pleasant stay with very little noise and friendly staff.

Great location, clean, nice staff. Can rent a bike from here or goer one from neighbouring hotels. Walking distance to sunset view point restaurant, and 8 min scooter to Japanese ship wreck (worth a visit and snorkel on a clear day). Beach directly opposite hotel had small waves so it was a bit stirred up, beaches closer to amed are better for snorkelling

This place has a beautiful view and it great for the price. Its up in the hills so it's lovely a quiet. Room was fine but the bathrooms are in need of some maintenance but overall its a great place to stay for the price. Restaurant wasnt bad either, mahi mahi was nice.

Resort - nya sesuai ekspektasi. Sebelum reservasi kami sudah research dan membaca beberapa review mengenai resort ini. Reservasi melalui booking dotcom dg opsi bayar di tempat dan betul² bisa bayar di tempat saat check-in. No extra charge and no hidden charge. 👍🏼 Sebelum kedatangan sempat berkomunikasi dg staff-nya melalui WA dan sangat friendly. Salahsatu staffnya, Bli Nyoman sangat helpful dan cekatan sekali. Plus side: spacious bedroom, great swimming pool although too much chlorine, great view for sunbathing and viewing sunrise & sunset. Hot & cold shower worked well. Downside: The door & window is full glass sliding door so we could hear people walking and talking when passing by our room. Also when u open the door, bugs & ants will enter immediately. The pillows were moldy, i think because lack of usage during covid time. Our suggestion is to change those moldy pillows with new ones. We read in the reviews that you could snorkel and find turtles right in front of the house beach, but during our stay it was always high tide hence it was rather impossible to snorkel there so we went to nearby beaches instead. Food: Breakfast was average. Tapi mie goreng nya enak (order separately)

The top floor room is the best. The pool is good too, great for swimming laps. Love this place

We just went to the restaurant. We arrived at 8:40 pm and asked if it was still open as they answered yes. But the staff was really upset that we arrived at this time after they installed us at our table. A girl even insulted us in Bahassar after we paid (my friend talked a little bit Bahassar).

One of the best views in the world from the balcony, great restaurant and great staff.

Quiet place. A good place for relaxing and releasing from the city hustle. Easy to find.

We stayed there for 4 nights. The room are nice and big. We really enjoyed the swimming pool with it's nice view on the sea.

Loved my few months stay here. The staff is always friendly and ready to help with anything. There is an amazing coral reef right in front of the resort. Excellent for snorkeling

Great view and pool. Staff very noisy so loud in the kitchen areas, breakfast very basic. Drains in the bathroom very smelly

Amazing place!!!!! Full stop. Gigantic rooms, affordable, sea view, amazing view of Rinjani and mount Agung. Wonderful pools! Airco is good, fridge in the room and everything you need.

Stayed here again over new year. 4th visit. An inexpensive well located ocean front hotel. Rooms are modern but there is no kettle or coffee/ tea amenities. Would go back but take your own kettle.

For a budget stay, it offered the service beyond my expectations. Value for money of course. Manager and staff go out of their way to ensure my needs are met always. For the limited facilities such as no facial tissue, no hairdryer, no tea sets in the room is understood as a budget stay. Would love to stay again!

Just average. Nice pool and great view from the room. Snorkeling from the hotels beach is possible. Bad smell in the bathroom and other areas of the hotel. Breakfast average. Staff could be a bit more relaxed, the came 15min before check out to our room and wanted us to pay the room bill... calm down, guys.

Arrived unannounced. The entire hotel was open for anyone to walk in. But no staff to be found. Tried several times to telephone them but mo answer. So didn't stay.

Amazing place🤩 Spacious, unique (mostly stones and wooden furnitures), amazing view, pool is big and it has kids pool, you can go to the beach and snorkeling right in front of the hotel (they are renting the snorkeling tools here as well) 🥰

Simple but delightful place to stay. You are right on top of the beach and will hear the waves most if not all the time. I recommend getting one of the many deluxe sea view rooms for a beautiful unblocked view of the ocean till the horizon. The rooms are quite big and with some weird space distribution, but very pleasant overall with mini fridge, Aircon, tv and a balcony with seating area. Breakfast was simple but enough for an early day of diving. Internet was surprisingly good, 2nd best I found in Amed and one of the top in the island. Staff was very friendly and there is plenty of parking. The swimming pool was also very nice, right next to the ocean and it gets sun all day so it's quite warm. It is one of the places that is hard to leave from, I wish I could have stayed longer. Recommended.
