After years of the pandemic lockdown, we came to Amed Beach Resort to stay and dive with Two Fish Divers. We stayed for 5D4N and it was an incredible time. It has wonderful beach access where one can swim and snorkel plus lovely macro diving on the house reef. You can see a variety of octopus, bobtail squid, nudis and more during night dives. We had a pool facing room and it was big, clean and comfortable. The true gem of the establishment is the restaurant and bar! The chef is amazing and we ate such a wonderful variety of western and local food cooked to perfection. Staff are so friendly and you truly get to experience the community at this location. We had an amazing time and want to thank every staff member here that made it possible!

Most of the rooms are sea view. Walk up to the beach early morning and late evening for amazing sunrise and sunset. The Mount Agung towers up looking at the beach. We got fresh fishes from the fishermen and the restaurant grilled for us using coconut charcoal. We participated in the Genjek live performance. There are two pools. Open all the time. Refreshing experience.

Very big green territory, at three beaches. With lounge zones and restaurant. Very quiet inside the room, even close to the road, no noise from scooters. Beach mixed sand with stones. Conditioner cold. Good people of staff. No thick blankets.

I had a plan to visit Lempuyang temple so my husband booked this hotel. First of all, location is near by Amed beach which is only 6km away from Lempuyang temple. This hotel is pretty and on the beach side(more like port) with the Mt.Agung view. They have two pools, beautiful well organized garden, breakfast included, nice spa(only 198,000Rp for 2 person) but they don't have AC, which is the most important in Bali weather, Kinda small bathroom and the biggest problem is the loud noise at night time.... There's a reggae club right across the street from the hotel and their loud music never ends and a lot of dogs are barking all night long....

Ideal for wheelchair guests. All areas accessible by ramps. Staff extremely friendly and professional. Good breakfast selection Only problem for disabled guests is the difficulty to enter either of the pools. Non slip tiles and a grab bar on the steps , with no slope at the bottom of the steps would solve this problem

I spend 5 days in room 9 where you sit on the porch and already get a good glimpse of the ocean. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The place feels safe that I mostly never locked the door going in and out for diving. The room has a king size and a single bed, so plenty to accommodating 3 people. The shower has hot water, but at some time of the day you get a bit of sewage smell. Nothing that will kill you. Although the clean the room every day, they don’t replace the towels. I put on the bathroom floor after using it for 2 days. I found it to dry on the chair on the porch.

It is a nice bungalow rooms set-up hotel. Very nice pools were you can relax watching the see or the very well groomed garden. if you are near the street then the noise is quite disturbing. Nice choices for breakfast. I liked most the people and their smiling attitude.

My husband and I visited Amed Beach resort in May 2020 and we loved it here! Although the resort was very quiet (because there is not tourism here in Bali right now due to the pandemic) there was a lovely ambience about the place. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the pool and outdoor area was relaxing and the restaurant had lots of delicious food + drink options. The staff were also lovely and polite too. They organised a diving experience for us and we got to dive near the abandoned shipwreck (highly recommended!) thanks so much for a great stay. We will be back again when we visit Amed in the future!

Very nice hotel directly on the beach with a diving center on-site. Bungalow comfortable and clean, very friendly staff. Our family also enjoyed the restaurant and the pool very much.

We had a great time for 1 night here. We went as a family. They have a huge garden, beachfront and two pools. It was full but didn't feel like anyone was there. They have refillable water, metal straws and a natural Aircon system. Breakfast was OK and is standard for Amed.

Uyah is a lovely old school Bali Hotel, created 25 years ago. The room has everything you need to be very comfortable, for the price including breakfast its a good stay for those seeking a Bali experience rather than a lush experience. The grounds are spacious and lead to the beach. I always look for sustainability within the room 1.Love the refillable soap & shampoo containers 2. Love that the air conditioning was set at 23 on arrival instead of the ridiculous 19 - A very unwelcoming entry to a room- which seems to be standard in many Bali hotels

Amed beach. Traditional salt production still does exist.

The room is clean and well maintained. The bar carries good selection of menus. Pool is clean, not yet deep but enough. Directly in front of the beach, so I can hear morning wave. They also have a dive provider..two fish.

Superb place to stay, right on the beach and now working with the equally wonderful Two Fish Divers who have a base on site. The rooms are airy, comfortable and impeccably clean. Menus are brilliant - excellent Indonesian food alongside some very good Italian. The breakfasts have always been good and have recently been upgraded: the two breakfasts I have had on my most recent visit were superb (smashed avocado with poached eggs and bacon and Eggs Benedict). Staff are friendly and will go out of their way to help and to make things happen for you. The management are always looking for ways to make your stay more pleasant and to upgrade the service. Lovely pool. Great sea views. Love it 😍

Amed Beach Resort, early January 2022. OK, so I couldn't outdrive the weather, and pulled in after 5 hours on the motorcycle soaking wet. My room (that I reserved 45 minutes earlier, online) was ready and waiting, and just exactly as described. The staff was kind and offered extra towels :) The on-site restaurant was accommodating and had reasonable prices. The view was great (once the rain stopped). The spot was populated by the scuba diver crowd, with conversations in English, Italian, Balinese and Indonesian, all very civil, all very relaxed. I'd go there intentionally next time- it was peaceful, the room was spotless, and the hot water seemingly endless, and the room price was easy on the wallet, too. A real find.

We loved Amed and had high hopes for this place but it failed to deliver… service was a bit pushy, rooms overpriced and the most annoying thing was that it doesn’t cater for guests‘ desire for some peace and quite because they kept on playing this horrible live music from 4p.m. till 10p.m. - far to loud and always the same Songs - it drive us crazy. Why would you annoy your own guests like this & do that? Most people felt annoyed about it but the staff didn’t care. Without that constant live and stereo music it would been okay but too expensive - there are nicer and quieter spots on the beachfront of Amed = NOT recommended!

Standard resort with small bungalows around a brownish grass field with a small and bigger pool. I chose a room without AC, which was a bad mistake. The air was stale and the room was hot and the fan hardly made a difference. Personal was a nice young guy at reception who was also working in their nearly deserted restaurant.

Lovely setting with bungalow rooms around a pool and lawn area fronting Amed Beach. Room comfortable, however no hot water in the mornings but plenty in the afternoons . Breakfast had a number of great options. Restaurant food very nice. Staff and service faultless. An easy walk along the beach to evening entertainment drinks and other restaurants,. As regulars to Amed, while this hotel represents excellent value for money we will return.

Very good ocean view from Sea View Room. This hotel is a little bit remote from everything especially now. The restaurant seemed overpriced, but it’s good that they have it. Tom Kha Gai is good enough. Our beginning of the stay was a bit upsetting as the hotel had very noisy guests or it was even one of the employees, we couldn’t understand. The small detail in the room annoyed me all 4 days: I don’t know whose idea was to put lockers for the bathroom door on the TOP of the door and not only it’s inconvenient for people like me (I’m 155 cm), but these lockers are simply broken and with even slight wind the door is immediately open.

Friendly staff. Great location by the beach. Have a diving shop. Room is ok, not the cleanless but can not expect much from hotels in amed. Lower the expectation and you should be fine.

Great place with great deal. We spent here for one night. Staff was helpful and friendly. We got a room with broken AC. Though, right after we complained, the staff moved us to a different room. The property is huge, it has big garden and two pools. Rooms are close to the ocean, so at night we can hear sound of the waves. The night I stayed it was a full moon, and I was able to see it from outside the room. The room is spacious so I really like that. At breakfast, I chose homemade bread/biscuit and scrambled eggs, and I must say it was one of best biscuits I ever tasted. Oh it's so good I wish I had more. Sorry I didn't take a lot of pictures, I think because I truly enjoyed my stay 😊

Hotel Uyah is a very thoughtfully designed Eco-Friendly resort. From the building planning, through to power and water saving, the owners have paid attention to create a sanctuary that really grows on you. At first glance, you notice the property and gardens are picturesque, and peaceful. Some rooms are air conditioned, but not all, as the rooms have been designed to cool naturally as the sun goes down. If you're concerned about being in a room that does not have aircon, pay attention when booking, and ensure you've booked and paid for an air conditioned room if it's a necessity. I accidentally booked a room without aircon, and after one night decided that I was absolutely not interested in moving out, as I had fallen in love with my room's exceptional location directly in front of one of the pools. Many of the fittings and fixtures used, both in the rooms and around the property, have been specifically sourced to help create an atmosphere of quaint charm, by using durable and pre loved pieces. The resort includes a choice of swimming pools, pleasant restaurant, a lovely spa, and even their own dive centre to cater to those wishing to explore underwater in supervised and safe conditions. Hotel Uyah has also forged a relationship with the local salt producers, and work in partnership with them to help maintain their sustainable salt industry. I spent 2 nights at Uyah, and wished it had been 3.

I was very disappointed to find that this hotel is NOT a 4.1/2 star !!!! The staff are friendly however the rooms are shocking! No hot water for showers, no fridge, no TV and hairdryer, no provisions to make tea or coffee in yr rooms, and the price per room is far too much- not worth the 3 hour drive from Sanur ,water fountain in front of restaurant is not maintained and full of algae and mould, location and gardens are fine however the owner is not friendly and no smiles ! This is not good hospitality! Please don’t book a room here, owner doesn’t deserve return business!!!!!

👍👍 Review of the warung, not the accomodation. We ate at Warung Eneak twice while staying in Amed. We had excellent tuna steaks, nasi campur and - my absolute recommendation - the rendang sandwich.
