We couldn't have dreamed of a better vacation. The owner took care of us like her own relatives, after three years we still have fond memories of our few days stay in Amed. My dream is to return to this place again someday!

Beautiful brand new bungalows! Can snorkel or take a sunset boat cruise with more snorkeling from right in front of the bungalows. Great food. The owner is so nice and has thought of everything and the staff are so kind and always smiling. I will go back here again and again!!

If I could give 10 stars for service, I would. The rooms are clean & simple, but the staff went above and beyond to make our stay so special and comfortable. We felt safe and VERY well cared for during our stay. The proximity to the beach was incredible and, though the Melasti doesn’t have a pool, the place right across the street does & you can use it if you order food/drinks. The folks who work here were truly a highlight of my month in Bali. Please stay here to encounter what the Balinese people are all about.

A little hideaway far from the crowd ! The bungalow is quite nice and very clean, and just nice to see. Also If you are looking for the calm and the sounds of the sea this is your place ! The staff is extremely nice and helpful, they arranged for a driver and a bike, I can only recommend it for a calm retreat.

Our stay at Melasti Beach Bungalows has been amazing! Our host was very warm, friendly and hospitable and the breakfast was delicious and freshly made each morning. There are only 2 rooms which are nicely decorated and we booked both as a group, which essentially meant we had the whole place to ourselves. One of the highlights was the fire pit which allowed us to have a private bonfire every evening. The views are also nothing short of stunning, as there are two balconies (one on the front and the back). You can hear the waves against the beach, and on the other side you can see Mt. Agung right there as you open the bedroom door! We had a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back here next time around.

We loved our stay at Melasti Beach Bungalows so much!! The bungalows are really cute and clean and they offer a nice view of the Gunung Agung on one side and the sea and the charming garden on the other side (and the beautiful starry night sky when it's clear!). Missy and her staff are amazing as well! They have great tips on what to do or where to go for dinner and they're just really nice in general. :) The food was great as well! Loved the pink pancakes for breakfast! Would also definitely reccomend having dinner at the bungalows! We also went on the sunset cruise. It was a relaxing way to end our stay at Melasti beach bungalows. All in all we had a fantastic stay and would love to return some day!

Me and my family stayed at Melasti beach bungalows for 8 nights in January 2018. This place is incredible! The beautiful bungalows are right on the quite Melasti beach within a lovely garden. Missy can help you organise any thing you want: massage, a driver, scuba diving courses...excellent customer service! She and her staff made our stay memorable and took such good care of our baby boy. They are serving excellent breakfast and we had dinner there every night since Susi cooks amazing food! Don’t look further, this is the place to be!

We had a very nice time staying with Missy and her family in Amed. There are only two bungalows and the hostess and all the personell are very attentive, helpfull and kind. The bungalows are located right at the beach and we went swimming every day there. It is a quiet and clean spot. Missy organized a lot of activities for us during our stay and she was by far the best hostess that we had in Bali. Also, Susi is an incredible cook and we could not get enough of her delicios food. One should be aware though, that it can get windy in Amed and the bungalows are made of wood, thus it can get loud during the night. Taken altogether, we had a great authentic experience here and Missy took care of us like familiy.

Melasti beach bungalows is simply the best place to stay in Amed. The bungalows are beautifully designed, clean with lovely bathrooms and there is also a fantastic suite upstairs in the main house. Missy takes great pride in her house, bungalows and especially her beautiful garden which is like an oasis. You basically have the whole beach and sea to yourselves, it’s paradise. From the back you have spectacular views of Mt Agung, so an incredible location. The breakfasts are fantastic, we had the eggs, omelette and pancakes and recommend them all. We also ate dinner there one night which was excellent as well. Missy is a tremendous host and she makes it very easy for you to stay in Amed. We went scuba diving ( we were given lifts to the best places) and went to the temple and water garden, all arranged by Missy who has the best drivers in Bali. Missy also arranged restaurants for us, even telling us which table to sit at to get the best view of the sunset! Unfortunately my son had really bad tonsillitis while we were here so Missy also arranged a doctors visit and wrote down the medicine that he needed. All in all I thoroughly recommend Melasti Beach Bungalows. Thank you Missy and all your staff for a great stay.

Missy is a super host. She is very familiar with the Amed area and she or her extended Balinese family can assist you with many activities such as hiking, fishing, scooter rentals, boat and taxi transfers or anything else you can think of. She is a one stop shop. The food offered at Melasti Bungalows is delicious and tastes even better when you can enjoy it on your own private balcony overlooking the beach. Thanks Susi for cooking up such great meals, there wasn't one we didn't enjoy. The bungalows have great views, the ocean in the front and the volcano in the back. There are two balconies to enjoy both views. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfy. The grounds at the bungalows are beautiful, you can enjoy them close up from your own private daybed/sitting area on the lower level. Our bungalow was beautifully decorated with real attention to detail. We caught a Mahi Mahi one day and Melissa had it cooked into two delicious meals while we there, just an example of the personal touches you might enjoy during your stay. All the staff at Melasti are so pleasant and helpful. If you are pining for a pet fix, Missy's two dogs will certainly entertain. Amed is a really great area especially if you enjoy a quieter, relaxed village atmosphere. Thanks Missy for a great Stay!
