The staffs are friendly, the place is cozy and close to the snorkling site and sunset point. The room is wide and clean.

I am so sorry to write a bad review when the staff are so wonderful but having recently stayed at the Travisi Villas I do feel it necessary to warn other travellers. I read previous reviews, which were mixed, but erred on the side of very good (8.5 on booking, 4 on Google) and booked 2 nights here. The location is excellent for snorkelling, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything else though, is worrying to the degree that if this were in another country, the hotel would be closed by health and safety. Our room was atrocious. There were bugs in the bed, the bathroom was so poorly lit (clearly with good reason) that is was hard to see quite how awful and filthy it was. The patio door was broken, my husband fixed it enough to secure it. The bathroom door was completely busted and the opening so small it was difficult to get through. When ‘closed’ there was a three inch gap which let both the the insects and the horrific smell through to the bedroom. No side tables, no lamps, very old furniture set far away from the bed and walls, my thinking is due to woodworm/termites/bed bugs. We did not unpack our cases but made the mistake of leaving one of them open which i needed to completely empty when we left to shake out all clothing because it was swarming with tiny ants, no exaggeration, literally swarming. Towels were threadbare and stained and the bathroom complete defies belief. We have travelled extensively and do not have any illusions about accommodation, particularly in south east Asia, but I can hand on heart say that the Villa (no.4) that we stayed in should be condemned. There is water percolating through the tiles in the retaining wall against the road in the bathroom so the floor is permanently wet in the bathroom. The toilet itself is sitting in a pool or brown water at its base. The beach front area was very pleasant, but the pool was both murky due to a lack of cleaning and had lots and lots of broken tiles in both the children’s area and the main pool, the edges of the broken tiles were extremely sharp with lots of tiles on the steps broken, it’s a very dangerous situation. These broken and missing tiles are also a breeding ground for bacteria. I left the hotel feeling thoroughly filthy

Dirty place. Dirty pool, broken doors, awful towels, dirty floors in cafe. Naughty kids make much noise. Not possible to escape noise.

Period of stay : April 2022 It's really quiet at Amed that time because of the pandemic. Barely no one stay at the hotel. So we really enjoy the villa mostly only for us. Located right at beach front, you can enjoy really beautiful sunset and especially sunrise. When there was storm one night, the kids are really amazed by the view of stormy beach from the balcony. The room has a mezzanine so it was fit for 4 of us. Value for money.

Beautiful place to stay. While the rooms are a little tired, the beds are good. The wifi/internet in some of the rooms is pretty bad. Beautiful pool, great snorkeling off the beach in front. The villas are quiet and peaceful. It's an oasis of calm down off the street. Breakfasts ate good.

Blankets are very dirty. We found out too late at night and couldn't sleep. In general, rooms look very old and not nice any more. At least the light in the room and bathroom is so dark, so that you can't see the dirt at night. Really disgusting.

The accommodation is surrounded by plenty of good restaurants to grab lunch, diner or drink a beer. If you are into diving or snorkelling Amed has more than enough to offer you. The staff is great and option to eat breakfast in the restaurant a big plus to me. The bedrooms are great, but the bathrooms could use a little bit of love. However this should not keep you for staying at this fantastic location.

This hotel is right on the beach and easily accessible for snorkeling. Our room was ok and reasonably comfortable. The aircon doesn’t keep up with the size of the room and the bathroom area could use a decent clean. Other than those things we found it comfortable and the bedding very clean and nice. The food from the restaurant is ok and the included breakfast very basic. The location being on the beach with a nice clean pool makes up for everything else.

Basic spacious rooms. Shower warm, not a lot of water coming out. Happy with accommodation. Breakfast included, great choices. Good kitchen. View to the sea, located on the beach from restaurant. .

Staff were very friendly and happy to help even later in the night. The room was not at all mosquito proof, with the outdoor bathroom door unable to close without a 2 inch gap. However, mosquito nets were provided which were mostly sufficient. Aside from that, totally perfect, amazing view and delicious breakfast. Walk straight onto an okay swimming beach or 7 minutes down the beach to an incredible snorkeling area.

We managed to book 2 beach villas, a villa good for 4 pax. The room is huge and has a fridge. The problem is that there is no coffee/tea making facilities nor hot water dispenser. Need to request from the restaurant. The villas front the beach so we get really nice views at the raised front porch. Staff are friendly, parking available. There are steps to the rooms but not too many and aren't too steep (important for short Asians like me 😀) Walk further in there are many restaurants for food. Daily housekeeping needs to be requested. Extremely good value for money! They have a total of 3 beachfront villas and 6 rooms which is just right behind the villa. Credit card charges apply if you are not paying with cash. The pool is nice too. The only con for us here is that there is no hot water for showers but the water isn't all that cold so, its ok. Totally recommended.

I really loved to stay here. So quiet and peaceful. Directly at the beach. I extended my stay several times because I liked it so much. The cleaning men wer so nice and friendly. Only - is, that there was no warm water in the shower. They told me I have to run the water for a while to get warm water. But even after a long time the water was still cold. But with this temperatures it is absolutely no problem.

Nice place to stay. I spent a night a the villa at the frontof the pool. It is in fact a one bedroom villa. However they modify the villa so that it has one small attic room. This way can bring your have your children in the samw room. From here you can enjoy the good view of the sea. The bedroom is big enough and this is one good point. The staff are really helpful and want to make sure your stay comfortable. Breakfast ini just nice. Value for money.

I rarely give bad reviews. No daily water as advertised. Room was solar powered and is below average. There is no hot water and water pressure is weak. Towels are torn.Toilet barely flushes and leakes. Lets not talk the smell. Fridge was rusted inside..... Great location friendly staff and nice breakfast. Unfortunately we left after 4 days. Can't believe we stayed that long worst hotel ever . Will never return to Amed . Terrible experience. about the smell. Air conditioner not working wel

Stayed here twice. Fantastic value for money in amed. Very large rooms and friendly staff in the resturant. Food is so-so although i recommend the vege omlette for breakfast. You have to get used to a local managed place, the staff have their children running around the place in ocassions. Staff are very helpful though, but the male porter could learn to smile a bit more

To be honest I have no idea how this place can have good rating. The room was dirty and everything smelled really bad - towels, bedsheets, pillows. The garden was messy and had the same disgusting odour as the room. We chose for breakfast from the limited menu fruit platter and banana pancake. The staff told us (with really bad English) that they don’t have any fruit except of banana. We didn’t want to get fruit platter with banana only, so after some arguing they agreed that they’ll do some shopping. The staff attitude was really bad. If we hadn’t booked this place beforehand, we wouldn’t stay there.

We had a wonderful stay at Tradisi. The staff was absolutely wonderful! Perfect quiet place for our family. The villas were clean and there was good snorkeling 15 metres from the beach. Highly recommend.

Very nice, on the beach, a few meters from one of the best snorkeling spot where you can see a little temple under water, fish and corals, big rooms, lots of light, good breakfast and very sweet staff.

👍👍 Review of the warung, not the accomodation. We ate at Warung Eneak twice while staying in Amed. We had excellent tuna steaks, nasi campur and - my absolute recommendation - the rendang sandwich. 🫤 1 star for the sea view… 1 star for the friendly staff.. That’s it unfortunately. The quality of the hotel room was below average. Building or at least our room seemed not to be well maintained.
