Spoiler: Do not book this hotel - just go to another hotel nearby to avoid stress. Situation: We have booked a room at this hotel online via Klook. We have made the payment and when we have arrived there the manager did not want to accept our booking because probably it was much lower than this official price. He told us that he does not know Klook and he also cannnot help us. He has not even checked it online if there is an existing booking. There was no laptop or anything digital to check the bookings. He could have at least contacted this company (Klook) and tried to solve the problem. At the end we had to leave the hotel. Now i try to cancel my booking and get my money back. Conclusion: The manager and all his stuff were very rude. Shame on you guys. I hope the owner will read this and take the consequences. The hotel was full with bunch of tourists and the pool is very tiny. The beach was not beautiful as on the pictures and there were not enough space for people at the beach because it is full of boats. We just did walk 10 minutes and find a nicer place without any boats at the beach. This is the first time in Bali we have met such an unfriendly reception team and manager like at Vienna Beach Resort. Just avoid this overrated and expensive place with its rude personal. You will easily find better hotels or resorts in Amed.

We got a good deal staying at the resort. The room was spacious, with a balcony and a view to the sea. The internet connection is also pretty good. I also liked the restaurant area and the beach because there are plenty of things to see with your snorkel. The only downside is the food. I got a stomachache from the vegetarian burger, and then for breakfast I had to wait for a long time because the waiter mistook my order, bringing me noodles instead of fried rice. My friend ordered tuna steak and banana pancake and they were fine, though, so maybe I was just unlucky with my orders. All in all, I’d give the accommodation 4 stars and the restaurant 3 stars.

Had lunch here today. All was good. Perhaps Rendang can be a bit more traditional and spicy but still ok. Drinks were cold and to top it off a great view. Prices were middle range. Overall an enjoyable lunch for all four of us & great for an ocean swim after or before. Its a must to visit.

Cane here to access the snorkelling on Lipah beach. We tried other spots in Amed but this was the best during our time for visit. Crystal clear water and you step off the black sand into the water and it is just full of life. Huge patches of coral all sorts of fish. Calm water not too deep. Nice to see a diver installing frames on the sea bed with coral stems to grow more reef. Note that for sunbeds on the beach you have to get from the beach chaps, we paid 100k for 2 beds all day. Can also rent snorkelling gear from them but we had our own. We eat in the Vienna restaurant every day for lunch. Brilliant service, amazing view, nice breeze. All food we tried was good. There is a pool next to the restaurant and the staff let us dip in there even though we were not residents. In my opinion best snorkel spot right off the beach in Amed, especially with a 9 and 6 year old kid neither of whom had properly snorkelled before but after one day they love it. Go early for snorkelling, lunch at vienna, then more snorkelling. Also the beach is soft volcanic sand a lot of others are pebbles and rocky… love vienna and this beach!

Our room was a bit dated, but very quaint. The door lock had a lot to be desired, and certainly didn’t feel secure. The attached swimming pool and restaurant were very good. Beach is just OK. Off the beach is some of the best snorkeling around!

We had a wonderful stay at Vienna Beach resort. Maday (one of managers) was SO kind to us. He helped us get to our dive site and made sure that we had everything we needed. We loved the morning breakfast right on the beach! We loved snorkeling right outside the hotel. And we loved the relaxed but caring attitude of the staff. We will return. And encourage other Americans and Canadians to come! Taslim & Ayla

Regarding the restaurant: extremely overpriced, terribly sour coffee. Nothing worth having on the menu. Coming from a Viennese, this place doesn't deserve bearing the name "Vienna' in its name..

We can’t comment on the rooms as we didn’t stay here but used the restaurant and bar a few times. Pizza, juices and appetisers were delicious- along with friendly staff. Perfect location right overlooking the beach.

We only visited the bar/restaurant. Very nice place to visit after snorkling at lipa beach. We were also aloud to use the pool of the hotel. The staff was very kind and good service as well!

We just stopped here to swim at the coral reef, but man the food is so delicious, the view is insane! And the staff are super friendly. Even if you just want to see the reef, stop at the restaurant and have a cocktail and/or some food. You will NOT regret it

What a wonderful place! The food is amazing and the snorkeling beach right out front is beyond belief. The AC in the rooms could be colder, but they are still quite comfortable.

Came here (for the second time since March this year) and used their resto to access the beach. The minute my daughter and I entered, I could see the disrespectful looks of the staff eyeing us with disrespect, since we don't look Caucasian, even though I bear a French-Swedish surname. The restaurant's staff service was half-hearted. The first time experience was identical, but I'm a forgiving person...why not a second chance. Well, no change in their attitudes. Us coming here doesn't mean we can't afford your service. Definitely a bule-only establishment, and definitely not coming back for a third time.

Lovely Resort, nice staff, awesome beach with an amazing reef, nice clean rooms and great breakfast. The dinner meals are good, but a bit pricey for the quality. But all in all the best stay I had on my whole vacation!

Great house reef, nice garden and premises with stunning views from balconies and terraces. Unfortunately the bored and tired staff make it seem overpriced.

Maybe bad luck but our two kids got their bag checked by intruders in the room and got stolen their cash, only the cash while we stayed here. Doors facing the beach are not really closing well and believe it or not, waves are really noisy at night...

We stopped by at Lipah and had lunch at Vienna Beach Resort, food was really good (but pricier than others on the beach) and a nice space to take a break from snorkeling.

Great location and great food. Try swimming to the left further down the beach to be with the turtles. Stunning, Made and the crew here were really helpful. We'll be back.

The rooms are big, it is right on a nice peaceful beach with good snorkeling, my wife and I had great massages in the room, great sunrise view, wonderful breakfast, and staff is fantastic.

Only came here for lunch (and a snorkel at the beach). Great beach for kids as the snorkelling is really accessible and you don't have to go out far before you start seeing abundant sea life and healthy corals. Lunch overall was very good, soto ayam was great, vegetarian burger was so-so (the patty was very mushy and wet), and the chocolate lava cake was BOMB πŸ’£πŸ€€ Nice place to visit for the snorkelling, beach life and a cold beer & massage right on the beach.

Ive been here when they still a hut when the electricity is depend on a generator. And when its 10 o clock wverything will be pitch black. We know pak made since he was young and single. Since then this placenis getting better and better. Food, room everything upgraded to a very good score. Vienna also located just in front of the coral park. So you dont have to walk that much to find the snorkling spot. The room is clean, and very spacious. But i hope they clean the "kelambu" and the top of it since it can trap dust and mites if they re not properly clean it. The room has ac, electrical water juga, fridge and also water heater. Very impressive. I remember at the 90's this place only served catch of the day usually barracuda or tuna and nasi goreng. But now they level up their standard to international taste. They have pasta, pizza and even the breakfast is a winner. Well this place will be our gem to our family.

Very friendly staff. Beautiful views. Right on the beachfront. They have a small pool and deck for casual wading and sun bathing. Beach is clean and also there are dudes renting snorkeling gear.

This hotel was able to deliver its promised excellence, especially with regard to the superb food. The staff was ever so friendly and gave us some excellent travel tips. Rooms well furnished with the colonial touch and beautiful scenery despite being located close to the town. The garden is beautifully kept. St Andrews is One of the best places to go to in the hill country .

I had a great stay at Vienna. The view from my room was perfect and its location is the best for snorkeling nearby. Breakfast options are varied. Many families with kids

We have just spent a night here and it was absolutely nice. A great room overlooking the ocean ! The staffs were really good, thank you Pak Ketut for taking care of us. We did our mini fishing and snorkelling trip in the morning with the sunrise view, it was really really nice and our young kids loved it. The restaurant's food are great too ! Might just need some more activities around the hotel and some privacy for the hotel's guests space. We enjoyed our stay nevertheless. 😊

Can't rate the rooms because I haven't stayed here. The food is good, to my taste anyway. Service is a bit lackluster at times. Beer is reasonably cold but could be colder. The white sand has disappeared and not as nice as it used to be but still not a bad place to snorkel. There is a very old wooden shipwreck just opposite Coral View villas about 50 metres from the shore which is interesting to look at but I can't find any online info about it. I will ask a local next time.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Review of the warung, not the accomodation. We ate at Warung Eneak twice while staying in Amed.
