Naturally beautiful Hotel in amed, Directly at the Beach! The „room“ consists out of 1 bedroom Villa, a separate, private dinning house & a Pool directly at the Beach (mix between Black Sand & Stones) & a bathroom under the sky. Breakfast was very delicious & the Staff very friendly. Really enjoyed our stay Here! It is Perfect for People who Are Not looking for a all inclusive Experience But something More Natural & extraordinary!

We have been to Amed several times before, but this place is really magical!! We booked Kampung Cina for our family of 4, and found the place incredible value for money! When we arrived on the small path, and then went to the gate of Kampung Cina and entered the verandah by the stairs.....WOW, the verandah is so large and beautiful with many sofas, chairs and an antique daybed. Gorgeous dining table, incredible pool with gorgeous view....I can only speak in superlatives, it was really unbelievable! Inside the house was a long livingroom with fridge and at both sides were a master bedroom, huge, with comfortable bed and fine linen and a supernice bathroom, and also a twin bedroom with 2 cute beds and nice bathroom. So in total 4 large bedrooms in the main house. Behind the mainhouse is again one big double room with outdoor bathroom, very suitable for a nanny, grandparents, or elder children, and there is also a separate kitchen with table. Everything is so clean. The property is right in front of the sea, the view is awesome. The beach is rocky, but that didn't bother us, just bring watershoes. Breakfast is served on the veranday any time you like. In the morning we went (with our own car) to several beaches, came back in the afternoon and enjoyed the gorgeous warm pool. After dinnner we came back in the house to swim again or to sit and relax on the verandah. There are a/c's anywhere in the house and big fans too, as well as fans on the verandah. The nice staff can prepare lunch and dinner for you, but we preferred to eat outside, as we love to try different restaurants. In walking distance, really nearby you have Galanga, and Taman Bebek Hita. But also many others are not far, we used the car to go there. There were free bikes available, which we didn't use because of the heat, but we rented a scooter from a local nearby. If you ever come to Amed, this is the place to be! I promis my family always new places to stay, but they already begged me to return to The Kampung Cina one day, as this is simply the best! We like to pick up the whole place and bring it home....sigh....Thanks Bill and Viviana, it was a wonderful stay!

Just a fantastic place. The China Villa is furnished with beautiful Balinese furniture, it has 4 rooms with ensuite bathrooms, a beautiful outdoor area (a dining table for 10, a kid's table, a bed, 2 sofas, a huge sitting area, sun beds...), a private kid's and adult's pool. It is right at the beach, but it's not so easy to enter the ocean because of the rocky beach. The service is just outstanding. Wayan, Made and Intan cooked for us and just were perfect. The only thing which is missing is outside shower at the pool.

Spent the holiday with family here. The place is super fresh and clean, the pool area is like a small oasis, sunbed & umbrella with an amazing ocean view. The rooms are well maintained and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Perfect getaway from busy life. Looking forward to come back in future holidays..

Best villa in Amed. Simply a Paradise. The staffs are more than awesome!

One of my favourite places in Bali so far! Where do I start? The location is incredible. It’s right on the beach, super private and beautiful. The villa itself is charming and authentic. We had all the necessary comfort and facilities. Kitchen has everything you may need. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom is incredible. The staff is super friendly! We loved it so much we ended up staying for a whole month. I will really miss everything about this place. The only downside is that the wifi is slow. But that’s the price to pay when you’re in paradise!

We spent Christmas here with a group of friends. One of the best villas I've holidayed at in my 10 years in Bali. The ocean view from the large patio is stunning, the 5 bedroom Villa Cina is gorgeous and spacious, minutes away from the Bunutan drift dive. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and can cook up a delicious dinner upon request.

This was our second visit to The Kampung (Jambi Villa). 6 nights weren't enough the first time, so we stayed 11 nights this trip. The buildings and grounds are beautiful. The Javanese houses have so much character, and the open-air bathroom is a treasure. The private pool and longhouse are the perfect setting to unwind and relax, especially after a morning of diving or snorkeling. Ketut and Wayan are so friendly and such great cooks. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a private home-away-from-home but still wanting great service and amenities.

Such a beautiful place with lovely employees. The food was delicious! I stopped eating at Restaurants nearby because Madde and Nyoman were such excellent cooks. :) Can't say anything bad about the Kampung and will go back (if my budget allows it) again.

Amazing holiday spot in heart of Amed. Beautiful old wooden bungalows and serene ocean view. Staff is so sweet that you don’t want to leave this place as you will feel like home.

Our family had two villas, the 5 bedroom and the 2 bedroom. The 5 bedroom had a great place for family to gather and a large swimming pool. All villas were great for us. The staff were so efficient and nothing was too much trouble. The beds were comfortable and clean and the food (breakfast) was delicious. We would recommend staying there and would like to return.
