3rd to 5th Dec 2023 I was in Amed, Karangasem, to celebrate my birthday, which I had planned in August. I stayed at Kubu Kangin Resort Amed, listed as one of the exceptional accommodations by one of OTA There are only four rooms, it felt like having my own private resort. The room was exceptionally comfortable in every way. I loved the cleanliness, spacious room, and the amazing outdoor bathroom. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and amenities such as a kettle and tea-coffee pack were provided. The interior combined rustic and traditional elements, reflecting the warm, chilled vibes of Amed that suit my personality, making me feel relaxed during my stay. The garden and pool area are stunning, with a pool featuring three levels of depth. The gardens, adorned with large trees, were beautiful and well-maintained. I was impressed by all the staff, who were friendly and helpful. Even when I requested a hairdryer, Wayan organized it with a fast response. The staff ensured my room was immaculate daily. At night, we will hear dogs barking, but there's no need to worry as they provide earplugs. For the dining, at the moment, they only offer breakfast. If you'd like to request lunch or dinner, it's possible, as they will order food for you from a nearby restaurant. Personally, I enjoyed their breakfast. The location is not far from everything in Amed, but at night, street lighting is still insufficient. Overall, this accommodation is exceptional and value for money. I will certainly stay here again.

Everything is perfect! You must book this hotel. The staff are very friendly. The pool, garden are very nice and clean. The room is enough big, and bathroom too, and very clean. The bed is very comfortable, and climatisation works very well.

One of the best hotels we went! We plan this trip for my girlfriend's birthday and they did amazing decorations. The pool has different levels and is small enough to always be at the perfect temperature. The staff is outstanding and they know everything about Amed! Suksma!! 🙏🏼

The lush greenery and beautiful landscapes made for a relaxing and serene environment, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway. The staff were also friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. Overall, a fantastic resort!

Everything was perfect! Peaceful place, clean and comfortable. The guys are simply amazing ! Always helpful and kind. They rent us the scooter and they also booked the boat tickets to Gili Air island. They also helped us to enjoy even more Amed

This location is very beautiful, quiet, small (only 5 or 6 cottages), well worth it. Talking about off the grid. This is the place. No television. This swimming pool is very nice. You can order a massage and they would do it right there by the pool side. Everything within walking. Restaurants coffee shops very close by. We walked everywhere. The distance even to the beach was short. There are no sidewalks

Beautifully kept grounds, clean, and comfortable separate villas, friendly., helpful staff. Walking distance from the beach. Traditional fruit shop next door. Bar and Cafe next door as well.

Wowza! Best place ever! Great place, great staff! Cute kittens! Beautiful accomodation in a great location- nice and quiet ! Fridge in the room also- Such a luxury!

This is a must stay for Amed! Wayan and Katut (the managers) really look after you, my friend was not well and Wayan went above and beyond to make sure she saw doctors and was ok, Wayan also gave us lots of recommendations of places to go and made sure we got out of the house (it is so comfortable you could stay there all day), but getting out and about (sunset point, snorkeling and up the mountain - must see!) is well worth it. Wayan and his family stay on site so you feel very safe as a single female traveller.

Very quiet and calm ambiance. The bungalows are beautiful and very spacious. The pool water is at the perfect temperature. I ordered room service and the roasted chicken sandwich is excellent. Staff is super friendly. I couldn’t get a ride to go for dinner and they offered me a ride. They also organize transportation from and to Sanur. Totally recomen this place!

This is a lovely place to stay at. The bungalows are amazing, spacious and with a comfortable bed. The garden and pool is beautiful and each bungalow has a nice porch. Also the staff here are warm, friendly and down to earth.

The best hotel we’ve ever been to!!! The garden, the pool and the cottages are so beautiful and just perfect. Additionally the staff is super friendly and helps you in every situation and have good tips what to do in the area. You can order food from a nearby restaurant directly into the hotel which was really convenient for us. It was just the perfect stay to relax and explore the area

Amazing place in Amed. Large bungalows in a very beautiful garden. Few minutes away from the beach and Main Street. Good breakfast and very friendly staff.

All you could wish for a holidays stay! Started with responsive communication, extremely helpful team finding solutions to any request, beautiful garden and clean nice pool, spacious comfortable bungalow with privacy in each of them (separated with lush garden and in efficient distance), calmness (resort is secluded on the back of main street but close to the centre and restaurants).. Great value for price - you get even more than you expect. First choice when coming to Amed!

Stayed here with my partner and 3 year old. The staff were kind, breakfasts were delicious and the rooms were comfortable. We could even hire a scooter from them which was really handy. The pool and garden were beautiful.

Love, love, love this place!!! From the minute I walked in I was captivated by the stunning grounds and then the beautiful rooms. I felt totally spoilt! It all looks quite new, the beds were VERY comfy, probably the best I have had in a while. The pool area is great too, and the whole area feels so peaceful and tranquil most of the time. No doubt some people will have issues with regularly hearing prayers over a speaker from nearby or the farm animals waking them up. But Kubu Kangin is one of those places where it’s so worth it. Will definitely return, can’t NOT go back!

We stayed at Kubu Kangin for just one night, but it was a great experience we'd recommend to anyone. They only have 4 cabins for guests, beautifully build in wood and decorated, with A/C, hot water, electric kettle, etc. The manager was extremely helpful and polite as we're the other members of the staff, the breakfast was good and, while they're still working on their kitchen/menu, they delivered us some delicious lunch from a nearby restaurant. The garden and the pool are quiet and beautiful and we got a great night of sleep.

Our stay at Kubu Kangin Resort was great. The location is amazing, this resort is in the middle of the mountains but close enough to the beach, around 5 min by car. The bungalows were great, spacious, extremely clean and with a super comfortable bed. The bathroom was the most impressive thing of the whole bungalow (it's even better in person than in the pictures). The staff was super nice and helpful.

Rooms are very pleasant, comfortable and clean. Breakfast is delicious. People are very nice and helpful.

Magic oasis away from main drag but an easy walk to beach, food and sunsets. Ketut and his brother are great hosts. Breakie is good too. Just a wonderful spot, gardens are beautiful, pool area is great on a hot afternoon. Mountains and Mt Agung tower behind. Just magic. As you can tell I'm enjoying our week long stay immensely

Everything was perfect 🤍 the staff is SO friendly, welcoming and helpful. The garden is beautiful, the rooms and spacious and clean. The breakfast was tasty (fruit juice, coffee and eggs or Nasi goreng or pancake 🥞) We’ll come back for sure!
