Sooo beautiful and unique! Must see in Candi Dasa! Never have seen a so huge water park with sea anemones. From there you can enter a lovely small beach. Great for beautiful memories!

Welcome, my fellow travelers, to the enchanting Lotus Lagoon in Candidasa, Bali, where serenity and natural beauty converge in a symphony of tranquility. Prepare to be captivated as we explore this hidden oasis, a place where blooming lotus flowers and tranquil waters create a haven for the soul. As you step into the Lotus Lagoon, a sense of calm washes over you like a gentle breeze. The vibrant green lily pads and delicate pink lotus blossoms float gracefully upon the tranquil surface of the water, their reflections creating a mirror-like canvas of natural artistry. The air is filled with a delicate fragrance, a sweet floral perfume that lingers in the atmosphere, soothing your senses and inviting you to immerse yourself in the beauty that surrounds you. Find a peaceful spot along the lagoon's edge, where you can sit in quiet contemplation, allowing the sights and sounds of nature to envelop you. Watch as dragonflies dart across the water, their iridescent wings shimmering in the sunlight. Listen to the melodious chorus of chirping birds, their songs blending harmoniously with the gentle rustle of the lotus leaves. In this tranquil setting, time seems to stand still, and the worries of the world melt away. The Lotus Lagoon is not only a visual delight; it also holds deep cultural significance in Bali. The lotus flower is revered in Balinese culture as a symbol of purity, enlightenment, and spiritual awakening. Its ability to rise above the murky waters and bloom in pristine beauty is seen as a metaphor for the human journey towards enlightenment. As you gaze upon these elegant blooms, take a moment to reflect on your own inner journey and find inspiration in the lotus's ability to blossom amidst adversity. If you're fortunate enough to visit during a Balinese ceremony, you'll witness the lagoon come alive with vibrant colors and the gentle flicker of candlelight. Balinese Hindus gather here to pay homage to their ancestors and seek blessings from the divine. The sight of locals in traditional attire, offering prayers and floating small offerings upon the water, is a poignant reminder of the deep spirituality that permeates every aspect of Balinese life. As you explore further, you may come across small pavilions or bale, where you can find respite from the sun's warmth and reflect upon the tranquility of the surroundings. Sit back, relax, and let the serene energy of the Lotus Lagoon envelop you. It's a place to find solace, reconnect with nature, and embrace the inner peace that lies within each of us. So, my friends, allow the Lotus Lagoon in Candidasa to transport you to a realm of serenity and natural beauty. Let the delicate lotus blossoms inspire you to rise above life's challenges and find beauty amidst the chaos. Take a moment to breathe, to listen, and to connect with the gentle rhythms of nature. In this haven of tranquility, may you find the serenity and renewal your soul seeks.

Flowers open in the morning for the roasted ubi eating boaters and school children next door. Buds are closed by the time runners, bathers, and everyone else comes to hang out.

The place is a misnomer as it is a lagoon full of Lily plants and flowers instead of Lotus. Nevertheless the place is scenic and worth a visit. The lagoon water is crystal clear and teeming with small fishes Best time to visit is in the early morning when the air is fresh and cool, and the lily flowers all open up. There are two restaurants next to the lagoon.

Nice place to take a break on your way to the north. We stopped here on our way to Amed. Could take a quick stroll around the pond to stretch the legs. Takes about 15 minutes of your time. A lot of water life in the pond and the water is surprisingly clear. We even saw a big shrimp. Even the local fisherman were surprised about it.

Better to go there in the morning. With the sun, the flowers are getting closed. Just for a few minutes.

So disappointing as this could be beautiful. But as usual there is sooooo much trash. Bloody plastic everywhere. The local authorities should have an initiative to clean it up. Candidasa is such a charming town - shame there is not more pride with its local sites Btw you need to go in the AM before the sun is fully out to see them open

(Translated by Google) Location about 15 minutes from Padang-bai harbor. Still in Karangasem. The location is on a side street and at a glance it is not visible. Parking on the side of the road needs to be careful because it is right around the corner. Not many people know this location because it is not opened commercially. It is better to walk along the edge of the lagoon to get the best photo spots. Morning is the best choice to enjoy the beauty of the atmosphere.

You stop on the road to Candidasa and it's just there. No entrance fee. A bit hard to park if you are on a car. If you walk towards the sea front there is some restaurants on the path and a small beautiful beach on the front where you can take a small boat and go fishing, snorkeling or free diving.

Interesting spot to stop and take a rest for a while during visit or transfer in Candidasa. Especially beautiful at the morning, when all lotus flowers are open. Stunning.

We arrived at 7am to view the lotus in full bloom as we'd passed a few times in recent days later in the afternoon and the flowers were all closed. It was well worth the visit. The flowers were quite spectacular and were best until about 9.30am when they started to close. We walked around the lagoon and chatted to locals exercising and going about their business.
