πŸ‘πŸ‘ Our guide and experience was wonderful! The thought of getting up at 2 am didn't sound appealing but so worth it for this unique volcano experience. Makes us want to trek Agung too. The volcano, crater, history, steam, dried lava, ash, was so cool. The guides for this company were super attentive... Our guide and experience was wonderful! The thought of getting up at 2 am didn't sound appealing but so worth it for this unique volcano experience. Makes us want to trek Agung too. The volcano, crater, history, steam, dried lava, ash, was so cool. The guides for this company were super attentive, personable and fun. We were lucky to be grouped with others that were just as fit as us. There was 32 people on this tour, marketed as the "quite trekking route" so with our group and another group I wouldn't consider this a quiet trail. We were however the last to leave from the restaurant so we missed the first peak of sunrise. We passed many other groups who were taking many breaks and not sure if they would have made it to the peak in time. We are really fit so didn't find this challenging, but a fun hike. Get away from the beach and experience this cool trek, is a must!

Place with a bad vibe. Bad acommodations, everyone is only looking how to scam you. You dont have option to take Gojek so you only have option to take local taxi who will charge you too much. We tried to hike a Mt. Batur, when we arrived at the starting point, dozen of locals wont lets us pass if we dont pay 250k per person. Avoid at any cost!!

We opted to do camping for mount agung and I’m really glad we did that as everyone returning were exhausted when doing the direct tour (summit and return in one day) The camping was an amazing experience with special thanks to our tour guide (Gede) and porter for an amazing tour, camp site and delicious food. Well worth the money!

They arranges two tours for us, Batur and Agung. Batur was an easy walk, 90 minutes up 45 minutes down. The guide wanted to stop every ten to fifteen minutes but soon realized we just walk. We stopped at the summit for twenty minutes. Agung was a more difficult trek. Our guide was excellent and highly recommended. Tough overnight ascent. Long route was ok up with clear weather. The final 300m got misty and the wind increased. No sunrise πŸŒ„ just fog. The long descent was made worse by fairly persistent rain which left us soaking wet. We had an amazing guide, Kariana (+62 878-6062-9285). The other guides seem to go out too fast for their guests, with the inevitable consequences. You need to set the pace. Slow and steady gets you there! The timings are off. We stopped two times on the ascent. For ten minutes and then forty minutes waiting for the right time for sunrise and then 20 mins on the summit. Overall 5.30 up and 5.00 down.

Amazing place and the best experience I had personally had on Bali. With outstanding guidance and support on booking (and PayPal) , pickup (2:15am from Ubud for me), then trekking, Batur top & sunrise with eggs on top, till a wonderful Balinese breakfast when we were back, Bali Sunrise Trekking team is best! Thanks for that experience Team!

The communication in advance per WhatsApp works easy. We met in a nice restaurant, where we got coffee, water, flashlight and also a hikking stick...which was very helpful...our guide was Adi... he is the perfect guide you can wish for hikking a vulcano. His english is great and he tooks care of us. The agency takes care, that the group is not bigger than 5 people what is great. We was only 3 people this morning. I really enjoyed that we hiked a way where was almost no other people,so we was hiking both ways almost alone! Also at the top Adi decided for places which wasn't crowded at all... he provide a nice and warm :) breakfast, took pictures and had fun with us. I can really recommend to book the tour here...

The sunrise trek up Mt Batur was amazing. Our guide was hilarious and extremely helpful in making sure our hike up was as enjoyable as it could be. You need to get up the last stage (20 min more) for the ultimate look out and view of the sunrise which was blocked a little by fog but still amazing. Breakfast and coffee at the top wasn't anything to brag about it, but our guide did have to walk all the up carrying it so.. it was totally fine. Loved every minute of this trek.

We had an amazing hike up to Mt Batur. Gede happily answered all of our questions about Balinese culture, and he made it even possible for us to be picked up in Ubud and dropped off in Amed. Thanks again! We were welcomed with a coffee and a snack, and had a fun time hiking up Batur. On the summit our friendly guide Adi made us a lovely breakfast perfectly timed for sunrise! Great place to book with!

100% Highly recommended. Trusty and reliable! Pick up and drop-off from hotel was timely, had a driver who spoke fairly fluent English. Holding area before the hike was well refurbished as you can see from the photos! Hot coffee and some snacks were also served. Very pleased with the well-organised service. If you wish to book, please book directly from Bali Sunrise Tours website.

The ride from hotel to mountain was good. The hot coffee before the trek was delicious. The trek guide was very helpful. However, it was so nice breakfast on Mt Batur. Also, they serve any hot beverages on top. It was very cold up there and it was so great sunrise

We had an amazing time during the trek! Our guide Wayan was so informative, caring and helpful. We chatted a lot during walking up and down and he spoke to us about the different aspects of life on Bali. Our driver Niko was also super nice. He picked us up in Ubud at 2.30am, and then dropped us off in Uluwatu 12.30pm (with a stop at a coffee plantation included). Highly recommend! :)

πŸ‘ I’m from Canada and I hike in the Rocky Mountains 1-3 times a year. I’m an average hiker. Based on that info, I would label this hike a medium difficulty hike. It was a pretty steep incline and you’re hiking on loose volcano rock or sand for the whole time, so that can be tricky. We also did not hik...

πŸ‘ Everything else was nice, just the thing we were treated as wallets with legs started getting on my nerves. First we were stopped to buy a ticket for the whole area to just 'go' there (50k IDR per face), then we had to buy a guide before the halfway point (300k IDR per face) and the toilet costs 5k...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ It was an awesome experience with the perfect mix of three things: sunrise at the volcano, a nice bath at the hot springs and an interesting visit at the coffee plantation with a tasting.
