We just did a day trip. The pools are beautiful. There's a great view. The food was very good, and the hot water from the spring was very relaxing. I think the entry fee for us as tourists was 190,000 each. It is much lower for locals. Once you are inside, food and drink prices are very reasonable. They also have bathrooms, changing rooms, lockers and towel rentals available.

I love the ambience here! Quite glad my guide bring us here instead of Toya, because it's not as crowded as Toya! Suitable for us who want to have the hot spring with less crowd. Went there around 9AM (19 Apr) and only have around 3-5 visitors on the whole area. There are many pools, around 6-7 pools here that you can use around. The place design is also great, not to mention the water is also clean. Totally had a good relaxing time here. The only downside is for the bathroom. Cleanliness can be improved, and probably can also provide soap or shampoo.

Nice place to relax. All the pools have the same temperature of water, but at different depths. This was included in our sunrise mount Batur trek, so I’m not sure how much it is to get in. We received a ‘welcome Drink’ upon arrival which was guava juice. The annoying thing about the place (which is out of the businesses control) is the the amount of flies!!

After the Batur jeep tour we spent 1 hr in the hot pool. The view of the lake is splendid. Towels and a welcome drink.are supplied. The lockers are in a bad state, as well as the bathroom. I didn't even want to enter the bathroom to shower & change due to obvious reasons. The pools were relaxing and very pleasant but there was no jet or spa, to me it felt like being in a big warm bathtub only. The masseuses walking around and offering their services were unprofessional and annoying. Not to mention overpriced.

We did a day trip here after doing the sunrise hike up Mt. Batur and visiting a coffee plantation, so felt like we had earned a few hours of relaxation. The hot springs themselves are amazingly relaxing, and the entire place is quite beautiful, except for the changing area which could use a bit of TLC. We lounged about in the hot springs for hours and enjoyed a couple of drinks whilst in the warm water. We also got a massage here, which was one of the better massage we had whilst staying in the North.

Such a great hot spring. It comes at a little bit of a cost! But a natural volcanic hot spring in Bali. How could you not? For $190,000 per person, you get a complimentary drink, locker, clean towel. Access to showers and changing room, and many different pools to choose from with varying temperatures. Food was great and at a good price! They even offer in the water massages. We got a great one for $50,000 per 10 mins. So relaxing!

We had amazing time ticket costs 190k per person includes the towel and free juice there is lots of different pools to choose from some of them are hotter then others. It has amazing view of the lake! It s a kind of place you could spend your whole day enjoying yourself. Also they have restaurant serving food at around 35k per portion and you can even eat it in the pool! Excellent

I was skeptical and was not keen on going inside the hot spring because I wasn't sure of the Sulphur content. However, it was very well facilitated with options of pools and intensity of hotness. I'm glad I went and enjoyed it and experienced the overall muscles being smoothed over, effortlessly gratifying feeling

Water was warm enough for us eventho rain was just pouring minutes before. The place looks a lil bit rugged but that wouldnt matter much because you have outstanding view surrounding you. Price is just a lil bit steep for locals. Had a decent massage while i was there. Again, price is a lil bit in the expensive side. Would like to go there again sometime in the future.

We went here after the hike in Mount Batur. Cool hot pools with a welcome drink and cool views of some mountains. Super relaxed and a bit touristic.

Lots of people but cleared up fast. Nice lunch and enjoyed the many pools there. Locker room and shower room is unisex and not very clean. There were also tons of flies at the restaurant so we had to eat very fast.

The price was very shocking at 190k per person but the pools were very nice and relaxing. The con was no would take our order for foods and drinks after waiting 30 mins we decided to just leave. I do not recommend at all.

This place is amazing and relaxing, however incredibly overpriced. We paid 170k, instead of full price 190k, but the place is run down, a few pools empty due to lack of tourism, the restaurant functioning with basic service (many dishes were unavailable). Overall disappointed but i'm sure it will be different with tourism picking up again in 2022.

The pool was nice and warm, but that’s probably the only good thing I could say about the place. All the other facilities from restaurant, toilets, bathrooms, lockers were really really old and run down. There were lots of ladies offering massages while you sit in the pool and they were really forceful (but nicely). So if you don’t wish to be massaged just firmly and nicely keep repeating yourself. There’s another hot springs next door that looks more modern. Some said they have better facilities. Might try that next time.

The water was nowhere near hot enough for it to be relaxing. The bathroom and lockers were run down and there was no way to close the tap water when you’re finished showering. Talk about water waste. Just get a hotel with a bathtub and you’d get a better experience.

The sanitation and hygiene is bad but the views are not that bad. There are several pools with different temperatures. A towel is included in the ticket but foreign ticket can get a free mineral water too. Idk why its different for domestic guest. Do they think that we cant pay for the overpriced water?

This hot spring is amazing! We climbed Mt. Batur for Sunrise so this felt like a well-deserved treat. The view was stunning and the water was relaxing. The cost for entrance includes a towel, locker, and welcome drink. Definitely would return.

Basic service. Best to come during weekdays, as the place is probably crowded in weekends. Great view! There are a lot of flies and ants in location, not because the facility is dirty. The facility is clean. Flies are just a thing in Kintamani area. Just make sure food and drinks are properly covered. Bathroom is located near entrance, can be bothersome if you have to go back and forth to the pools.

food was top-notch! we enjoyed their chicken satay--it was flavorful, the peanut sauce is good. i find the coconut juice a bit pricey but since this is a tourist spot, i guess that explains a bit. the hot spring is very relaxing. we went here after hiking in mt. batur and it did really help relieve our sore muscles from the hike. there were also a lot of tourists here from different places. their staff are polite, too. overall the experience is great. we just didn't quite enjoyed the water massage

This place is recommended by the hotel staff and it’s in fact less commercial and more local than the big place next door! Tix is a big expensive for what i get (ithink) its 190k (might be) I have no pictures of this place but looks very similar in other reviews, there is a path to the lake right next to the entrance, very beautiful (picture)

A great experience after watching the sunrise at Mount Batur. Gets a bit crowded after all the other sunrise watchers get in, but there is still space for everyone to enjoy the warm water in many of the pools.

Tourist Trap. We stopped here with our guide after doing the Mt Batur trek. The breakfast was small portions and was just okay - but not enjoyable because the place was swarming with flies. Drinks had little alcohol. The infinity pool was nice for a picture but would rather get bette quality food somewhere else in a nicer environment.

A nice place to chill for a bit after the Mt. Batur hike. The view is quite good, and the hot water is really pleasant. Although the place seems a bit too commercialized and crowded to really relax & it could use a bit of renovation works. Pretty good experience overall :)

Went after the sunrise jeep tour. By the time we got there it was hot out, so sitting in hot water was not very appealing. It was the temperature of a hot tub, but without the jets. The free juice was not very good and there were flies everywhere! There were several pools to get in and the view was gorgeous. There were ladies walking around offering up poolside massages, as in you did on the edge of the pool and they give your upper body a massage.

This place has many spot hot spring pool with different temperature level and size. The view just wow.....it's literally front of lake...you will see lake while rest on pool. My complain is just shower for bath is too low....it's not enough for wash my body. The rest is good..

There are plenty of different pools, all with different levels. We went 5 pm on a sunday and watched the sunset, it was beautiful. A family-friendly place with slides in one pool. Our host sorted our booking, where we received complimentary drinks and towels and lockers. It's open till 7 pm. Friendly staff.

Such beautiful hot springs! Definitely recommend this over Toya nextdoor as that is more catered to children and parties. These springs are peaceful, fewer tourists and feels more natural but still lots of ourdoor pools to try with varying temperatures. We visited during heavy rain and it was magical as the steam bounced off the water and it was so empty! We had lunch here too which was very tasty.

Very pleasant experience with multiple pools having warm water. There are lockers and changing rooms. The overall cleanliness can be a little better but should not really be a deal breaker for most folks. We visited the hot springs after the hike to Mt. Batur and we couldn't have asked for a more relaxing option.

It was ok if you wanted to see the local flare and countryside, however, I would not do it again or recommend it. Not sure how clean the water and there were fly’s everywhere! You could not get away from them. I would not eat anything here. I only had there free drink and did not really care for it.

Busy (I guess everyone including us went straight after Mount Batur sunrise), water in the bottom pools were dirty (big brown bits floating around), flies EVERYWHERE even in the pools which made it hard to relax and says something about hygiene - for context we've eaten outdoors most days and hardly seen any flies and that's with food around. Was not as warm as I'd expect from a hot spring, only the top pool was actually a nice temperature the rest were luke warm. Facilities were a bit gross, changing area and lockers were like a cattle herding area, a poor girl slipped on the steps down to the pool. Towels are provided though. It's expensive in Bali terms for what it is (190k "for foreigners" which is nearly £10, locals get cheaper). We left within an hour. I didn't even take pictures as I was so unimpressed. The view is nice but if you're in the area chances are you've seen views just as nice if not nicer. 5 sun loungers for 100 people so you can't even relax to see the view (you can forget about putting your towel somewhere dry!)

Nothing special. The view of the lake is nice but the hot spring is not so well managed and overpriced for what it offers. Honestly I wouldn’t trouble to go all the way there. Difficult to get to without a scooter. No Gojek pickup available.

Great selection of pools with gorgeous view, nice decor. Food in the cafe was good but service super slow. Locker/changing rooms not the best at all, but we didn't have far to go home so didn't mind too much.

Lovely and relaxing. Glad we chose the traditional settling hot spring rather than the kids water park next door. It was clean, even the toilets were tidy and smelt ok. A little bit of sediment floating in some of the pools, but definitely no slimy bottoms. Not too crowded. We spent 2 hours in the water, with a short break to have our complimentary drink on the lakeside.

If you visit mount Batur area , you must visit this place. It’s a perfect place to relax. Natural hot spring. Less crowded than the other hot spring. We could enjoy and just lay back all day in this place. Recommended. 50.000 idr for locals, 190K for foreigner. Free towel and lockers.

Personal opinion would be that it's just okay...staff were friendly, entry wasn't that expensive I would say. We stayed for maybe a couple of hours for a few photos and relaxed in the water. Luckily it wasn't really crowded but there were definitely flies around and most likely cause of the papaya drink being prepared. I don't think I'd come back again, others probably like it more (as did some of my friends)

  • 5/5 Chris R. 1 year ago on Google
It’s expensive compared to other things you can do here, but it’s cheap in the gran scheme of things for me what it is. You have to pre load money on a wrist band for food and drink and you pay a premium on everything but they do refund your leftover balance. If you come after hiking Mt Batur it’s a perfect day. The hot spring infinity pools overlooking the lake and mountains are too perfect. Hard to believe places like this exist.

Absolutely gorgeous springs, delightful experience. Has beautiful hot springs and multiple pools to choose from. Also included lukewarm water for those who cannot take heat for too long. Included with ticket is towels, one drink, showers, and shampoo.

Nice little hot spa. Great pools with a great view. Only downside are the smelly changing rooms. Beware of parking your scooter. There is a man who dresses up a parking warden and charges tourists to park. It's a scam. Parking is free
