Beautiful savanna view, nice photo spot

Everything is very messy. And don’t trust Google if it sends you on a detour, there are careers there.

Interesting place... Sort of savanna open space, natural outdoors. However they are ruining it by digging huge amounts of sand and gravel out and trucks are taking it away

Nice place for relaxes and taking photo

Great place to camp. Ground is a little rocky but can definitely find a flat spot. The Indonesian teens come here with their girlfriends after dark but leave by 9ish

Its not a dam, its a check dam. People miss understanding. Dam will have a reservoir but this structure made for hold the sedimentation and lava flood of agung mountain. Anyway the view quite cool. I got there in cloudy situation but if the sky is clear you will see mount agung the peak of bali island. There are a lot of cow and horse. But people here throw trash everywhere. Add more trash bin to throw trash.

Hot and dry during dry season (April- November) and green during rainy season (Desember - March). These pics were taken during dry season.

Check the weather and go. Even if the weather is cloudy or sunny, if Mount Agung is covered by clouds, it is just a featureless open field. Since Mount Agung is clearly visible from afar, you can check what the clouds are like. When I went there, Mt. Agung was covered in clouds, so I gave it three stars, but if the weather had been nice, I would have given it four stars. There's nothing else around, so it's a bit difficult to come from far away. If you are staying in Amed, it is worth a visit at least once as it is less than an hour away by motorcycle.

Well, I visited this place Feb 5 2019, on a rainy season through Besakih, well it's a good place with a quite nice view behind Agung Mt. And I suggest you visit this place sooner, 'Cause I bet in 1 years later this place will be Gone 'Cause sand mining activity. I post the true pict of the place because I want you to know. This savana was incredible. The savana will change the color of the grass every 6 months, green and brown. There are 6 horse at the first time, in the morning and before sun goes down, ther will be many cow, sheep and so on. Very cute for champs

The view of the mountain is good, if it's not covered in fog. And the sea view is also good, but unfortunately there is a little animal waste left behind. If we are not careful when choosing a place, it could be our victim😄
