I booked a tour around Ubud. If you look up the market price online, you may not get the right price. It starts early in the morning, and about 10 people move together. The mountain itself is a little steep, but not difficult. I had bad knees because I did the exercises wrong, but I was able to raise them without difficulty. The sunrise seen from the top is really beautiful. It's foggy before sunrise, but there's an atmosphere. On the way down, there is a group of monkeys waiting for people, and if there is someone(?) they like, they get on it haha. I think they mostly get on big adults. Tip: There are a lot of wild dogs around the mountain, and they say you can get rabies if bitten. Be careful. Tip: I think the restroom is unhygienic.. Do your business first thing in the morning and come back~

The view is very beautiful... and the climb from the parking lot takes about 1 hour.

Good experience, But it might be cold there. You should wear hiking shoes, and you have to bring a jacket to wear at the top of mountain.

Amazing sunrise! But to see beautiful sunrise there must be proper weather. Not to much clouds. The trek isn't difficult for those who get used to climb mountains. For newcomers it must be difficult and exhausted. Take proper shoes for trekking. Sneakers must be enough. Better to wear pants and take jacket with you. On the top it can be quite cold. Take some snacks and water with you because it very expensive on top. Be careful on trek and good luck with sunrise.

Seeing the sunrise in the mountains is the most beautiful thing. Magical place if there is one.

Great experience although it takes very long to get to the top. Would advise arriving early to get to the top as it is always crowded and there is only one way to walk up. Pay the little extra for a private driver so you don’t get delayed picking people up.

The best place for refresing. the weather is very cool, the view is amazing. if you want to climb better come in the morning. but if you want to see a better view, come in the afternoon or afternoon. Batur is my favorite place

The hike was a little bit challenging and you should be reasonably fit to do it but once you get up there to catch the sun rise, it's rewarding!
