Arrived when the kitchen was closing today (6pm daily) although they were kind enough to let me order to take away. I ordered the vegan burrito and it did not disappoint! 10/10! The bean, rice, salsa & nutritional yeast filling was absolutely delicious. Incredibly well seasoned with a perfect texture. The burrito was wrapped compactly and was warm and crispy on all sides.. The tortilla was homemade and very fresh! The side salad was super fresh with a very tasty dressing. Can't wait to go back tomorrow to try the vegan nachos. Also, to mention that they made a point to ask/reconfirm that I wanted the vegan burrito and not the regular which I appreciated very much. They clearly take peoples dietary choices/allergies seriously here. Highly recommend!

Adorable little café with a great view. We had a DELICIOUS, breakfast (hungry vegetarian breakfast). The bread with the butter was to die for. Additionally, we ordered the feta green salad which was fantastic. The food is definitely affordable, and the staff is super friendly.

A nice change from standard fare, with a nicely carried menu. I really enjoyed the breakfast burrito, feta salad, and the protein plate - packed with goodies. They make coffees a few ways, all good, but getting a french press just feels like home again. A slight letdown was the Rossi - excellent flavor and edges but overly soggy in the middle. Would still do it again, maybe to share though.

What a lovely health cafe right on the beach. It gets busy during lunch as it is one of the nicest and healthiest cafes around. I enjoyed swimming, snorkeling and that I could rinse the salty water off myself there as well.

My favourite place to eat in Amed and I’ve tried most of the places there! The food is consistently tasty (great vegan options) and the ladies behind the counter are friendly and always remember my name which is a nice feeling. It’s just a nice place to chill out after eating as well with the sea breeze coming through. Highly recommend giving it a try.

I had cappuccio and potato something (check the photo) the cappuccino was okay for me, a bit hot maybe if the Barista make a perfect tempreture the coffee taste is more bright. The meal is good, 1st time i ate this kinda food. Tasty. Thanks

We were at the Green Leaf Cafe when the man in the review below was there. The coffee he should have requested was a Latte, which is mostly coffee with milk. A flat white is a small amount of coffee filled with hot milk. At $3.00 a cup he expected the cafe to replace his Flat White which he ordered for a Latte. Our food, coffees and juices have been lovely. This 'man' was rude and obnoxious to the staff at the cafe, he could have simply paid for another drink.. It saddens me to see people treat others with no respect or dignity. IF you order something, you pay for it! If the cafe mix up your order they change it at their expense.

We had a great healthy lunch here. Food is really delicious + healthy. It's family friendly and right on the beach. We brought our two year old son who could play on the beach while waiting for our food. Also the deserts are to die for. Must have the protein plate and the lava cake when there. These two dishes were my favourite. The coffee is also really good and lots of different coffee options 👍

We went there twice for lunch and were very pleased every time. Juices and food are great. Spinach crepe was actually quite filling. Smoothie bowls are too cold but easily solutioned given the heat. You can order breakfast food even for lunch. Juices were really good too.

I came to this restaurant 2 days in a row. First day was good , crepe with Nutella was nice. However today I came, ordered the breakfast, told them to prepare while I am swimming ( cause I was limited in time). When I came from 10 min swim nothing was ready , after 10 mins of waiting I asked and saw that they just started preparing ( after 25 mins from my order) , when I complained about time, the cook ( not the pregnant lady) started to shout at me and saying:" You were swimming so why I was supposed to cook?" , then she finished after 10 mins more and threw this plate on my table with such a negative attitude so I was really frustrated with the service and almost late to work because of that. The staff has bad attitude to customer and service is very slow. And the French omelette was without avocado ( which is mentioned in menu) and full of oil. Not tasty at all

If you want the best breakfast in Amed, look no further! Their hungry breakfast is to die for with homemade bread, homemade tomato sauce, lovely crispy bacon and eggs cooked to perfection. Staff are always welcoming and super friendly. We've been eating here for over 5 years when we come to Amed and we've never been disappointed. Keep up the great work guys and we'll see you again soon.

People with food allergies beware!!! I ate here today and am vegan as well as allergic to eggs. I ordered the tahini and date crepe, which is listed as both gluten free and vegan on the menu. This restaurant does a very good job of labeling which of their items are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free. If only they were as good as actually cooking them that way. The crepe arrived and I took a bite and it tasted different to the same dish I had the day before and this time it also smelled like egg. I asked the woman if the crepe, listed as vegan and GF on the menu, had eggs and she replied “of course”. She ended up getting really snappy at me and told me that the GF and Ve symbols on the menu mean that there’s an option to have something gluten free or vegan, which isn’t true. One look at the menu and you’ll see what I mean (for example fruit salad is labeled as Ve GF, fruit salad with dairy yogurt is labeled Vg GF) I came here an hour before a freedive session and ended up getting very sick and vomiting out on the water and had to come back in immediately. If you have any food allergies at all, please for your own health avoid this place or if you appreciate a restaurant run with integrity, look elsewhere. In my year in Bali, this has been my worst restaurant experience, by far.

Best food, best view! This café has a real homely atmosphere, with open views of the ocean at Jemeluk bay, and a wide selection of healthy meals. I'm a little bit addicted to the banana and chocolate chia pancakes (gluten free and very chocolatey!) and the veggie nachos, I'm convinced they fuel my freediving! Highly recommended to come here for a juice or a meal.

  • 4/5 Rachelle H. 4 years ago on Google
Really great place if you're vegetarian or vegan lots of very healthy options. We had nachos and a burrito and both were large portions and very tasty. We also had a lovely fresh juice. The food was tasty and on the higher end of pricing for the area but fresh and nice. The staff were nice. The only off putting thing was right where they make the food was a "sticky fly trap" that had hundreds of flies on it. I understand its probably the best way to keep flies out of food but it almost put me off ordering. This place is right on the beach so if you're sitting at the front you would get a good view but at the back near the counter is very hot, but they do have a small fan. There are many divers coming in and out so it can get quite busy inside.

Awful coffee. Even worse customer service. Ordered a flat white, but was served a very very VERY milky latte. When I went up to ask for the correct drink, the expat owner came over and very rudely told me that it was an “Australian flat white”, and that I would have to pay for a replacement coffee. Please see photos for the glorified hot milk that I was served. After travelling for months, this is the worst customer service I have ever encountered (and the worst coffee too!).

  • 4/5 Hendrik S. 4 years ago on Google
I have been here now 3 times. The nachos are the best in Amed to get. In general the price is fair and the portions are Western size. :) They have health and lean, but also heavy food if your are craving for it. Service is alert, just when you want to order you need to wave or go to the counter. If they would provide wifi or at least water, that would be great. No wifi 3x power plug sockets total

(Translated by Google) Food is very dependent on the shift. One day you come, it’s wonderful, but for another shift the same dish (for example, the popular Mexican burrito) does not cause any delight at all: salty, dry, peppered). Vegan raw food Andalusian gazpacho is very tasty. If during cooking women did not constantly shout among themselves, discussing personal problems, then the food would be tastier and healthier. There are gluten-free options, which is very nice. It’s better not to see or hear how they cook, so as not to get upset. The food stands for a long time, waiting for it to be delivered to the customer, and at that time crowds of flies besiege it. Today we sat across from the kitchen, saw and heard too much, we won’t come again.

(Translated by Google) Unfortunately, one waits about 45 minutes for his breakfast, after having to wait a long time for the order to be accepted (although only 2 other guests are there). The vegan map is very extensive, which is why I came to this cafe again and again. Unfortunately, not once has been ordered, what I wanted to eat. Also 2nd and 3rd wishes were not available. The food is quite good, but it's not worth the wait and it's annoying if you can never eat, which is why you go there.

Definitely the place to go in Amed if it's important for you to be sure your food's vegan. Yes, it is a little pricier than some other places but the portions are huge so you could easily share or set yourself up for the day as we did 😋

Really love this place! Super sweet staff and lovely vegetarian (also vegan) and gluten-free options available. Had a gluten-free burrito, which was really nice. Saw food on other tables that I all would like to try. Too bad they close at 6:30pm, otherwise you would find me here for dinner again. O and their snacks (I tried the energy ball and truffle) are too good! Add a large cup of tea and enjoy the view for hours.
